room clean and comfortable but shower needs redoing. No shower mat and floor slippery when wet-used hand towel as shower mat. no small dish for soap. Area around spa VERY slippery. Food very good and great variety. Staff friendly.
Can walk to beach, swim in heated pool and use of steam room and sauna. Large buffet selection.
How come dinner buffets do not have coffee with desert?
After reading all reviews we were ready for worth :). Location. You have to cross a road to get to the private beach, but it is still ok. Spa. Very good therapists, really recommend. Food. Quite a good breakfast and dinner, but could be boring if you stay more than 3 nights. Parking. We always found a place.
They very often run out of bathrobes and towels in spa. A lot of people in spa. Very bad inernet signal in rooms. Nothing to do in the evenings. No normal cocktails in the bar. Live music could be better. Some staff members are super slow. Be ready that they will ask you to pay deposit for bathrobes, towels and sign documents to get them :) Staff in a restaurant is not very fast to clean tables.
Dead sea water pool
Wifi, breakfast, bed, bath room, parking
Worn down room, and tired staff. Most of the staff doesn't even speak English. Too crowded at the breakfast and the omelett station was a disaster. Only one coffee machine and no signs in english
I liked the location, it's perfect, the food is great, comfortable furniture, excellent infructure and spa!
The staff at the front desk was very helpful to be willing to give directions and tour options that I had not thought off before saving us a little money.
The WIFI is free but for a short time only, after you have to pay a rate if you want fast speed. So I was not really able to use it at all because it was very slow.
location- close to the sea.
the hotel is so very dirty, really below the standard. We paid top prices for sub-standard facilities!
Food could be better in terms of variety. And coffee machine was broken and no alternative explanations provided. Not even a note like "do not use, very sorry"
very nice renovated excellent spa facilities.
The hotel is extremely well situated and very comfortable . Swimming in the Dead Sea is one of the best things I have done for many years and a visit to Masada is a must. Cannot comment on the spa facilities as we did not have time to use these. The Egged bus from Eilat to Ein Bokek and the from there to Jerusalem works extremely well and is well priced.
Do not be conned by the taxi drivers who offer cheap fares to Masada. The one we used was an unpleasant character and a blatant liar.
My room was fine, clean and the bed was comfortable. Room is equipped with Flat screen T.V. kettle, refrigerator, safe. The Wifi was free and fast. Breakfast and dinner had much variety, though it didn't really change from day to day. But overall, was good and plentiful. The grounds and facilities are very nice, and well kept. Good indoor (Salt Water) and outdoor (Fresh Water) pools, the fitness facility is good enough for a nice workout. There's also steam rooms and jacuzzis, indoors and outside near the pool. The Hotel has its own Beach, across the main road, about 300 meters from the Hotel itself. Nice, clean with free loungers and chairs. Life-Guard on site. I did use the Spa facilities. I had a nice massage and seaweed treatment. A bit pricey, but a nice experience. Overall it was an OK stay, a bit pricey for what is was.
The Hotel's decor is somewhere stuck in the past. The shower is a 'Stand-Up' and strangely, there is only half a glass door, so matter how you shower, lots of water spill's over into the bathroom and the rooms hallway. And, if one looks carefully, needs fixing up in many areas. Elevators were very slow, especially on Friday-Saturday where the Shabbat elevator stops on every floor, up and down. Theres the 'Oasis Dead Sea' and then, there's the 'Spa Club Hotel' The two share some facilities but are VERY different. Seems that the Spa Club is more upscale and offers many more amenities. If I had known, for the relatively small price difference, I would have stayed there. The main issue that I had, was the lack of an ability to communicate with the Staff. English speaking staff were very few. Everything here seems to be geared towards Russian tourists, in all that this implies. It would also be nice if the Staff, not all, but the majority, would be a little more friendly and customer oriented. Would be nice to see a 'Smile' once in awhile. I wouldn't rate this Hotel much more than a 2-3 Star.
water spilled from shower to the floor in the washroom, not enough chairs on the beach
The hotel was just what we wanted. Clean and comfortable bedroom. Pool and spa very nice. Plentiful breakfast and evening meal. Comfortable lounge and pleasant staff.
Location and the beach was good. The bed was comfy but not very clean, the carpet was probably vacuum in the 1997.
The hotel is very dirty. It needs to be clean if you pay that amount of money. Food was not good quality. Most of the food was cold with a bad taste. Most of the staff doesn't understand English. I'll not going back to this kind of accommodation / service.
the restaurant manager
the heavily Jewish food that was all processed. Process, processed food in the heart of good food. no excuses. the staff that couldn't speak English the security guard that screamed at me at 7:00 am the lack of hospitality
We liked dinner, food were tasty and fresh. The room was comfortable and design quite original. In general our impression of hotel is positive.
It was too much noise from outside because of air conditioning installation. I could hardly fall a sleep and spent a bad night. Internet speed was very law.
the half board food that was included was excellent - really nice food. room was decent, as were the facilities, and wifi was also pretty good. staff were helpful and answered every question as well as they could
maybe the room was just slightly on the small side
Good location. Very plesant staff. Great food (half board option). Indoor swimming pool with water from the Dead Sea and various types of sauna (hamam, steam room etc.) Overall, good impression.
You have to cross the road to get to the beach, however the hotel offers a free lift. The trainee at the reception was not a pleasant person to deal with, quite rude and VERY slow, it took us more than 35 mins to check in (just us 2 people)!!! In the end the queue got as long as in Disneyland... Not a competent person, and did not smile once. Quite dated/flimsy furniture in the room, some pieces were falling apart like the wardrobe handles. Carpet in the hallways need some serious cleaning.
The location across from the solarium. The room size and pretty clean Wi FI usually worked
Kitchen staff was not accommodating to my strict glatt kosher requests. I needed certain foods in packages and needed plastic silverware and plates which they did not want to provide.
We loved every aspect of our stay there! The food was varied, delicious and plentiful. The pools were all wonderful and it was so relaxing having the jacuzzi. The tea room was a very special touch. The staff were all very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Not only will we recommend this place to many, we will return!
Only regret is that we didn't stay any longer.
The location of the hotel is great.
the food at breakfast and dinner was only "OK" and the staff sometimes are only neutral, not over friendly. Our room was very small as well.
Food was just OK
It was one of the best hotel which i visited. Food, accomodation, style of the hotel were perfect really. The glass corner of the room is amazing. Staff is so really helpful! I recommend everybody!
WiFi is not available sometimes. On the other hand you stay there for relax and swimming.
Incredible bad dinner and breakfast, very unfriendly and demotivatet waiters, absolutley horrible atmosphere in the "restaurant". And on top very expensive, we paid 235 dollars for one night (luckily we stayed only one night...).
