it is a very nice self-catering facility, clean. Quick support in case of an issue. Don't understand comments about numerous cats - haven't seen nor heard any
There is WiFi, but Internet access is non-existent.
Decor, atmosphere, cleanliness.
Lack of instructions ( in English) for heating/cooling. Absence of hot water on one morning. Lack of tea towel or kitchen paper. Lack of eating bowls. Lack of sharp knife.
Kitchenette very useful and thanks for the bottle of wine
Please supply two bowls - we only had flat plates. A curtain at front door of room 1 would help get the room dark at night time. It was difficult to sleep if other rooms had their outside lights on and all the light came through.
Location, self-contained nature (more like an apartment). Welcome gift was a nice touch!
Wifi was a bit spotty
Accomodations were beautiful & felt (somehow)like "home"
High ceilings + High heating units= long warm-up time in the Winter; Could not figure out TV use & didn't want to "annoy" owners w/ too many questions; Too mch Privacy felt like no service...
This is fantastic little place. It is basically a comfortable little apartment.
I loved the place. Perfect place. Location was steps to the old city. People were very friendly. And the courtyard was a great touch
Didn't get warm
Two separate sleeping areas. Quaint appearance. Modern. Outside very well lit. Found the loft very cozy. Two TV's. Free Wi-Fi. Microwave. Outside gate gave feeling of security. Owner sent someone immediately to help solve our TV and heating problems. Unfortunately, he could not get TV to work.
No instructions in the apartment for getting into Wi-Fi, using remote for heating unit, or using the remote controls for the TV. Had to call owner. Still, the downstairs TV would not work. Street is relatively quiet but has a commercial feel.
Quiet one way street with a lot of cats. Only 4 rooms sharing a back yard garden. Room key was picked up by email instructions. No staff showed up to bother you, or greet you. A bottle of wine and two pieces of chocolate on bed.
No human contact but cats, 2 emails, and credit card details. That's 140 USD!
Loved all the extra space and cleanliness, plus the owner was attentive to our needs; the alarm buzzing from the courtyard and the TV. Both issues were resolved promptly to our satisfaction.
Personally I found it awkward to live in a loft setting but that is because of my age ( 57 ). Loved courtyard, but not all the alley cats which came inside to it use the courtyard as their private litter box; very strong unpleasant cat oder.
Would have liked to meet our hosts.
Layout, design, ect
Air conditioner had to work overtime because of ceiling height Nd poor window treatments.
Lovely place, the rooms are extremely cute! A bit noisy but overall we really enjoyed our one night stay. Very nice and helpful staff.
Fantastic appartment, the Best -and cheapest- place we stayed while in Israel.
Wifi did ny Works. VERY difficult to find, not only for us but for a Young Israely couple too! At least the place should be marked with street no. and some sort of name, telling that this is a hotel.
Great place We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Very recommended if you'll need to stay in this erea of South of Israel.
The inside of the place looks exactly like it does on the internet, and it is done in good taste. Many of these places look nice on the inside, but the problem is the outside of the buildings or in this case the neighborhood. Its in the hood. They know if they showed the neighborhood, no one would book at this "self-service hotel".
Misleading. There is no staff available. They only correspond by email. They email you and tell you a key will be left at the gate. There are phone numbers to call but we could not get anyone to answer. The location was in what I would consider a ghetto and the place was so dusty we could not sleep. The dust from the stone on the wall needs to be encapsulated.
Just everything :) Perfect for a family with a small kid. Nice style. Comfortable spaces. Well thought in the details. We appreciated, among many things, the information provided about where to have dinner and breakfast during Shabbat. Although we never met the staff, we felt welcomed by them.
That is the first time I'm leaving a review. I've booked a lot at this sight and usually hotels score match the reality but not for this one (probably because the number of reviews is not big enough) That is a self-service someones renovated villa with 4 rooms with entrance from the yard without steps (on the land level). After picking a key from a deposit box and entering the room I found out there is no light in the room..I called the owner of the place, she told she will send someone to check it. After about 40 minutes came some of her relatives, she didn't success to fix the problem and asked me if it's a big deal..... Well, I told her it isn't. After about half an hour I've got another call from the owner she asked me to check something and I fixed the light problem. Let's say it's not such a big deal. But really a big one was at night. If you are PLANNING TO HAVE A SLEEP at NIGHT - then THAT'S NOT THE PLACE!!!! There is a place to sit at the yard in front of the rooms. The problem is that rooms doors seem like made from cardboard. You hear literally everything from the yard and from the street! There is no any soundproofing! At all. So, there was a nice couple at the yard talking and drinking vine. But you hear every word and breath they take in your room.. I had to wake up very early next day morning. Therefore, I had to get out of bed and to ask this nice couple to move. It is really not the situation you want to be in paying 100-115$ per night! By the way, the same way you hear all the noise from the road near the villa. Well..if I'm writing I'll write everything.. My bed was just in front of the door while the upper part of it is made from glass. There was a strong light from the yard, so it was pretty disturbing at night. And..there is no a hairdryer, but that's really nothing comparing to a sleep problem :)
So beautiful, wonderful decor - I would go back in an instant I highly recommend to everyone!!!! So awesome - they even provided info regarding a fantastic restaurant around the corner, taxi numbers, and free wifi. Beautiful, secure courtyard as well! We absolutely loved the whole experience!
Spacious, clean room, very good amenities. Includes Kitchenette w/ refrigerator.
Trouble adjusting air conditioning to my liking (not cool enough).
I have stayed in many hotels and my room at Trumpeldor Ba'atika was by far, one of the most beautiful. I even stayed an extra day because the aesthetic was so perfect. The photos they have posted provide a really accurate image. The hotel is run as if it were mini-apartments, providing the perfect environment for a longer stay! To be honest, if Be'er Sheva was a more alluring town, I would have booked a full week at Trumpledor.
Well located, near the train station, and also within walking distance of trendy bars, in a quiet street. The apartment is very well decorated, with charming ambience. So far best place to say in Beer Sheva, away from big hotels where you pay more for poor services and facilities.
One of the most beautiful room I have ever seen!!! Full equipped kitchen
Very noisy even if it is a small one way street. Windows seems to be very thin. No shampoo/bath gel No reception but possibility for late arrival (safe box with code)
