ty all :-)
room was very small no cups, teaspoons etc. very, very noisy, a large space under the door. We could hear all that was going on in the halls etc. No intimacy. Price different than quoted.
Big bed,polite stuff
No curtain and hairdryer in bathroom
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Very dishonest management. Don't clean rooms everyday. Don't want to listen. Total disaster.
i got a cheap rate on the hotel. the room was adequate, but certainly not what the pictures show on the website. it was in a great location to see everything in the short time we had in tel-aviv. worth the little price we paid, and they let us store our bags
the shower head was broken, and the room wasn't especially nice
The location was very good, also the staff.
That is was not so clean, and a big factor that the room we got was not on any of the pictures. We had choosen a different Hotel if known. Also it was a tub with black hair in it, from the last guiests. And the tub, who took the entire bathroom, did not work.
The staff was nice and tried to be helpful, but the owner couldn't care less. They got us a cab to the airport and allowed me to use their computer.
When we came in we had to slosh thru the lobby because there was a break in the pipes (or some such problem). They couldn't understand why we were upset, saying this could happen anywhere. But soon after we walked in we could see the place was a mess- in very poor overall physical condition. We had signed up for an upgrade which included a jacuzzi, and view but had no real shower unless you held the head in your hands, and there was no view, believe me. The floor had many cracked tiles, the walls needed many repairs, fixtures without bulbs, etc. Since they wouldn't give us our money back, we toughed it out, but there was lots of noise during the night with slamming doors and arguments and after a miserable night's sleep we were relieved to go to the airport early.
The location is quite good, but it could be better if it had some distance from the main traffic.
The hotel needs an urgent renovation! With the same price I saw much more pleasant hotels in the same area.
Central hotel near the beach and the center of tel aviv
Bad shower, grumpy and money-mad owner!
Straff definitely not friendly Room not cleaned, we seriously wondered whether they just straightened the bed after the previous guests without changing the sheets Breakfast was in an awful bar outside
The staff at Hotel Ophir was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable, quiet (despite the hotel being right in the center of tel aviv) and clean. Large bathroom. Excellent price! As I travel to the country often, I have I stayed in many hotels in Tel Aviv, and Ophir Hotel is a very strong choice
Very good location, 10 min walking distance from the beach, next to the Dizengoff mall, good wi-fi, nice small room, great breakfast. Very good value for money!!! It is not Hilton or Sheraton, byt always you can go and stay there !
Friendly staff. Clean rooms, excellent service. The staffmembers go through great lengths to make sure your stay is memmorable
Clean Good WiFi in room Amazing breakfast with baked eggs to order and pancakes etc
One needs to park car across the street in parking garage for 50 Shekel/night
breakfast is good, cheep price, good location..
not clean...and facility is too old.. actually, I have never seen such an old facilities, shower booth, bath room. towel is not clean, steined...I even killed some small bugs on the floor. awful.
Located at the heart of the city, the hotel is at a great crossroads between the bohemian and upmarket shopping areas. The beach is a short ten minutes away and there are numerous bars and restaurants around - great value for location!
The hotel is not for the fussy, rooms are charmingly imperfect - it is really more of a base camp for exploring the city than a luxury destination in itself.
location personal service quiet room
Great location in the center of Tel Aviv with lots to see and do within walking distance.
The staff was unable to control or deal with rowdy guests who kept me up til 3 one night and 5!!! the next.
Breakfast was surprisingly good, they made even omelette for you.
The room wasn't cleaned when I arrived and it wasn't cleaned even once during my two nights there. Reception said ok when I demanded the cleaning but nothing happened. Toilet paper ran out before I leaved. Air conditioner dropped a water on to my luggage. Advice: if you choose this hotel, don't take the first room they offer you, no matter how tired you are.
The staff was all men! Four of them were nice; But the 5th one was so rude that a guest from Venezuela had to tell him so; He was walking around holding a bottle of red wine qnd his glass at 9:am!!! When I walked to the desk he was on his cell phone. I waited a good 10 minutes for him to acknowledge me and he did it with the phone stucked to his ears.
First of all the reception area needs a good overhaul. It looks really bad! Old decrepited furnitures, wires hanging on the walls. The floor of the room that was given to me looks so awful! The refrigerator looks like it was taken from the trash; the sheets on the bed looked like they were not fresh: The bathroom was disgusting: The pictures seen on the internet were totally deceiving! I did not feel safe in that hotel: I had to barricade my door at night with my suitcase and a furniture. One night I woke up jumping because of noises I heard at my door. The kitchen and restaurant are so not nice! The breakfast was poor; the whole hotel needs a serious overhaul!!! I was extremely disappointed and truly disgusted! The same day that I arrived in Tel Aviv after seeing the room I went looking for another hotel. Finally I ended staying there for a couple of days since I was going to be out most of the time. I also noticed on several occasions that reception area was left unattended by staff and anyone from the street could have had easy access to guest rooms;. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. Keys are used to lock the doors and anyone could easily pop the room door open with a credit card. No one came during my absence to make the bed. The towels were so old looking and rough to the skin. I could not make out if they were white, grey or beige. Same thing with the bed sheets. Not enough toilet paper in the bathroom. The bed mattress was so hard. This hotel is simply not a three star hotel and is not to be recommended!!!
