L'Orchid Hotel Resort és un complex de vacances d'estil tailandès situat a la platja d'Almog, al mar Roig, i ofereix un restaurant de cuina gurmet i un allotjament de 5 estrelles. L'hotel acull una piscina exterior amb una zona de terrassa i una piscina independent per als més petits i proporciona serveis gratuïts de lloguer de bicicletes. A la platja de l'Orchid Reef també hi ha equips d'immersió lleugera d'ús gratuït. L'spa de l'Orchid Resort ofereix una gran varietat de tractaments i massatges. It was calm and pleasant atmosphere.The menu was good, it was kosher. The room facilities were bad.The room for child was under the roof,but to get there was dangerous, because the steps've broken. The hotel's cats eat all food on the room' table constantly,during the nights also. The reception works very bad:first,they don't know English,in this case most part of their answers are wrong. The second,you have to wait so long till your request'll be fulfil. In the swimming pool there were a lot of Cl. In the hotel,there were nothing to do for children.

For the hotel that is so far (8km) from Elat city, I expected at least good beach. But the hotel (while is just across the road to the sea) has no access to the beach (the beach is closed as a natural reserve), so the closest beach to hotel is 500 meters away, and it has no reef. If you want to swim at reef, you have to go even further (1 km...).

I liked how it was on a mountain, loved the place. Not a good wifi signal when your staying in the top rooms. Its far from the main area of Eilat.

The service was excellent and timely. Rooms were meticulously clean (a pleasant surprise for us after other travel ventures) , quiet and had a fantastic sea view. The website price was very competitive with other hotels of much less quality. The buffet breakfast was complete and delicious. We will definitely recommend this venue to fellow travelers. It was great to be here much appreciation. The supper was overpriced and not great at all. Rather greasy and all hot foods were actually cold. This was not value for our money.

very good location, not tar from the center. fantastic veiw. you have free bicycles, beach in a minute distanse/ you feel a total relaxation, and feeling like you are i thailand. very safe quiet place. free international calls ) very lazy and unfriendly staff! cleaning is horrible, old furniture and very dusty in all rooms, food is bad not worthy to try.

The Staff makes you feel as welcome as you would at a family reunion. Someone was always nearby to accomodate any need we had. Built on the hillside with beautiful Sunrise views from all the rooms. 7 minute drive from the rest of the resorts and Airport, so we enjoyed Peace & Quiet for our Breakfasts at Poolside, but were moments from the "bustle" of Eilat. Our upgrade after the 1st night to the Villa was definitely worth it, and still less expensive than the glitxy beehive's downtown. If we go back, we'll definitely stay here again.

Location is excellent. SIAm rooms are the best. It is a pity that such a good hotel is undermined by the service. The sink was blocked on arrival and it took more than 24 hours and 3 calls to fix it. Towels were taken and not returned. Balcony door didn't lock and wasn't fixed at all during our stay. Girls at the bar have ignored us for 20 minutes despite an empty bar (one bartender came to us after several calls said that she will take our order in a minute, then went to wipe the tables and after that left the building). The only ones who were always helpful are the tuk-tuk drivers :) Guys, you have to look into your personell as it spoils otherwise good experience.

Reception staff were very helpful and courteous. Zion in particular made us feel very welcome and apart from his local knowledge his information on other parts of Israel was most valuable. Facilities were very good and as we were not travelling with a phone, the free international calls were invaluable to us. Whilst the resort is not downtown, a short and free bus ride gets you there and back. The buffet dinner had tremendous variety. The buffet dinner could be costly for a family - there did not appear to be any alternative to the buffet. Other eateries are not nearby so you will need a taxi to get into town and back for dinner as the buses stop fairly early.

Relaxed atmosphere enjoyed the views beautiful vegetation on grounds All cleaning staff and restaurant staff very attentive public facilities were very clean food was plentiful and tasty Check in staff was poorly informed When we asked for maps of the city she did not supply. Later in our stay we found them right at the front desk There was not an up to date list of local (kosher) restaurants at the front desk My brother's room was not cleaned properly. (hair) After complaining the next attempt was not any better. the mattresses were too soft the window in the bathroom needed a better privacy application

We had an incredible at the Orchid Hotel and Resort. I have read many mixed reviews and I think it totally depends on whcih room you get. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to suite 16 and suite 14. Maybe you can get a good deal on them on the last minute websites...its well worth it. With this suite we had a top view of the mountains and the red sea, a deluxe room with an outdoor jacousi....for my tastes the suite was faultless...comfie bed...great bathroom. Breakfast was excellent but dinner not good...I Would only eat breakfast there and eat out elsewhere (had a greet meal at the giraffe noodle bar-deserts amazing) feel free to write me questions if you like to evmaya2@gmail.com below it said I booked the deluxe seaview shangrila room but I think I was upgraded in a suite Didnt like the front desk reception...limited english speaking staff didnt like the dinner buffet much but Im a vey fussy gourmet eaqter-my inlaws loved it thats about it I think

Wish front desk staff was more professional and polished. No directions to room, how to turn on hot water and did not prepare box breakfast as promised. These rooms are across from beach not in fact 'on it' and many have no view. This seems to be more of a family hotel than the spa hotel that they advertise as.

“Everything was grate! From the first moment at the reception very helpful personal, Alex gave us a beautiful room at 6 floor and Nadia and Rajna helped us with information. It is a very big hotel for family and groups and 5 min to the beach, which is grate in winter. The breakfast was extremely varied and good. It is the perfect place to stay if you want just to relax and go to the beach. Good value for money, the hotels around are more expensive and have the same view.
