Awfull service and very poor attention from staff

I liked how it was on a mountain, loved the place.

Not a good wifi signal when your staying in the top rooms. Its far from the main area of Eilat.

Food was very good and prefer its buffet style. Room was spacious and very comfortable.

the hotel is over price, the location is far away from the center, and the food is orrible.

Breakfast!

Water was cold in the pool and the hot tub. We were not warned of the construction taking place. The answer to the question below is Maybe.

I liked the chalet concept, the close proximity to the coral beach, the bicycles available, and much more.

The service was excellent and timely. Rooms were meticulously clean (a pleasant surprise for us after other travel ventures) , quiet and had a fantastic sea view. The website price was very competitive with other hotels of much less quality. The buffet breakfast was complete and delicious. We will definitely recommend this venue to fellow travelers. It was great to be here much appreciation.

The supper was overpriced and not great at all. Rather greasy and all hot foods were actually cold. This was not value for our money.

The Staff makes you feel as welcome as you would at a family reunion. Someone was always nearby to accomodate any need we had. Built on the hillside with beautiful Sunrise views from all the rooms. 7 minute drive from the rest of the resorts and Airport, so we enjoyed Peace & Quiet for our Breakfasts at Poolside, but were moments from the "bustle" of Eilat. Our upgrade after the 1st night to the Villa was definitely worth it, and still less expensive than the glitxy beehive's downtown. If we go back, we'll definitely stay here again.

Reception staff were very helpful and courteous. Zion in particular made us feel very welcome and apart from his local knowledge his information on other parts of Israel was most valuable. Facilities were very good and as we were not travelling with a phone, the free international calls were invaluable to us. Whilst the resort is not downtown, a short and free bus ride gets you there and back. The buffet dinner had tremendous variety.

The buffet dinner could be costly for a family - there did not appear to be any alternative to the buffet. Other eateries are not nearby so you will need a taxi to get into town and back for dinner as the buses stop fairly early.

I like it's village atmosphere, big 2-levels rooms and good price))

We had an incredible at the Orchid Hotel and Resort. I have read many mixed reviews and I think it totally depends on whcih room you get. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to suite 16 and suite 14. Maybe you can get a good deal on them on the last minute websites...its well worth it. With this suite we had a top view of the mountains and the red sea, a deluxe room with an outdoor jacousi....for my tastes the suite was faultless...comfie bed...great bathroom. Breakfast was excellent but dinner not good...I Would only eat breakfast there and eat out elsewhere (had a greet meal at the giraffe noodle bar-deserts amazing) feel free to write me questions if you like to evmaya2@gmail.com below it said I booked the deluxe seaview shangrila room but I think I was upgraded in a suite

Didnt like the front desk reception...limited english speaking staff didnt like the dinner buffet much but Im a vey fussy gourmet eaqter-my inlaws loved it thats about it I think
