This elegant 14th-century property is in the heart of the Artist Colony of Safed. It offers a spa with sauna, exclusive restaurant and a free 24-hour bar.
Suites are air conditioned and decorated in bright colors with interesting works of art on the walls. Each one features a comfortable sitting area and a flat-screen TV with cable channels and DVD player. Palacio Domain - Luxurious Boutique Hotel is near the main art galleries and ancient synagogues of Safed's historic quarter. The decor was unique. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The staff was warm, friendly and very accommodating. The overall experience was delightful.

Yet another unique experience in Israel. The Palacio is a hotel with many secrets and lots of history. Wish we could have stayed longer than just the one night. Lastly, I'm an American who's been living in Israel for several years, and it was refreshing to be in a hotel with American amenities and service quality.

I loved the way I was treated. I was made to feel like I was in my won home. Food and service was excellent and friendly. I loved the architecture and the history, and the magnificent antique furniture. I would stay there again and I would recommend it to others.

You were all so welcoming and that is one of the main reasons we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was wonderful, although the bedroom was a little cool. It was an oasis of luxury and we would recommend it to anyone who wished to stay in Safed. Chen made very nice omelettes ! Breakfast was excellent and all the extras -the drinks, cakes , backgammon and fruit was just marvellous. Thankyou. It would have been very nice if we could have had an evening meal at the hotel -there was absolutely nowhere to eat in Safed.

We felt like we were living in a museum, but a very comfortable one. The owner was welcoming and his staff was very very competent. We felt sad to leave.

Nice and pleasant hotel. Decorated (somewhat "kitchy" but pleasant). Friendly personel. Quiet and close to the interesting parts of Safed. The price is somewhat high. The web site is not very clear about the room view.

Great hotel for couples. I went with my daughter and was not aware that it was geared to couples. Not too comfortable for the two of us. However, it was a great boutique hotel...quaint, friendly staff and great location for Safed.
