Score from 778 reviews Very good
Offering a 24-hour front desk, Jerusalem Castle Hotel is located in Jerusalem. The property is 1 km from Mamilla Mall where you will find many restaurants, shops and cafes.
Score from 158 reviews Excellent
In central Jerusalem, just a 5-minute walk from the Mahane Yehuda Market, the newly-opened Agripas Hotel offers spacious rooms with hardwood floors and city views.
Score from 835 reviews Very good
The hotel is not well maintained and is becoming rundown.
The staff was most helpful
The shower was a bit small and hard to keep from getting water on the floor.
location, staff, breakfast
Shower stall was a little small. Price extremely high. The pictures aren't updated. . Maximum price for should not be not over 50$ per night.
The hotel is ok,the staff friendly, especially mr shlomo, the food good,it was clean , the location perfect because it was in the center of jerusalem. And I liked very much the bazaar mahane yehuda with many delicacies, nice bread.
The hotel is old and if will be renovated I can say will be the best!
The location was great. Twenty minute walk to central bus station and the old city. Very close to Machane Yehuda street. Breakfast was very good.
Shower stall was a little small.
Pretty hotel at the center of city! Super-comfortable location, super-smiling and responsive staff! Perfect correlation of price and quality)
Very friendly and helpful staff 24h tea and coffee Free soup on shabbat New bathroom interior and floor tiles
Rooms extremely small, tiny bathrooms Cleanliness could be better Closet space very limited Problematic where to leave luggage Breakfast identical every day
The noise at night was disruptive. The hotel needs double glazed windows to keep out the noise.
Location and vety nice stuff . Tea and coffee free al the time
Price extremely high. The pictures aren't updated. . Maximum price for should not be not over 50$ per night. Very poor breakfast
No lift wash sink needs to improve
In Jaffa center with lots of bars/restaurants/shops and only 2 tram stops from Damascus Gate in old city of Jerusalem which is then walking distance to garden tomb, temple mount, holy sepulchre, western wall even mount of olives. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly and guests had access to free unlimited coffee in the breakfast room.
Room décor a little dull / outdated but room was clean and no issues with maintenance, everything worked fine. No hot food at breakfast but dining room had toaster for toasting bread and cold food was fine.
central location, good breakfast ( fresh bread on offer), possibility to drink tea or coffee in the evening, very good wifi. Staff was nice and relaxed ( we spoke English and Russian with them)
i cannot find any negative things. Rooms are a bit small but I knew this from the earlier comments and did not expect big rooms
Staff very helpful. Good location. Good breakfast.
We did not know there is no elevator, and they gave us a room in the third floor, perhaps because we paid a low rate, and the hotel was not full. The bathroom is terrible: 1 X 1 metres.
Very nice staff. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for us with many shops and restaurants close by.
Central location, wifi, friendly staff
Some rooms overlook a walking zone and as windows don't provide any sound proofing, it gets rather loud, especially on Thursday and Friday nights. But then I guess the same is true for any other hotel in the area. Also, this is not a modern hotel and would certainly require a little renovation but for its price it's still good value.
Location, lots of cafes nearby, close to the bus and tram stations, walking distance to the Old City, close to Ben Yehuda and Mamilla. Very comfortable bed, strong WiFi connection
NOISE - very difficult to sleep at night - lots of teens hanging around. At daytime, the windows face a flea market. Bathroom facilities are quite old, but operational. No elevator at the hotel - I had to climb the stairs to the 4th floor with a suitcase.
incredibly nice staff, friendly, helpful. Breakfast is perfectly ok, but sometimes we had a toaster, sometimes we didn't. ;-) Impeccable location!
The only problem: the room was really dusty, and it kept being so, although somebody apparently changed the towels and arranged the bed sheets (although I was in the Hostel segment of the hotel). But that is truely the only thing to complain about!
very good location, on the corner - train to the gates of Old town, by walk around 10 minutes, many shops, center street. Hotel faced to quiet street. Hotel have guided tours under normal prices. All day coffee and tea for free in dining room. Breakfast is normal, normal wifi connection. Pleasant and helpful staff.
Rooms need to be renovated and paint, my room was small but it does not means too much.
Great location, very friendly staff, good breakfast, clean linen and towels. Nice place, a big parking lot 3 min away (cross Yaffa, turn left and go up the stairs) - much more convenient then parking on the street or underground (those parks are closed at night and weekends).
Very difficult to use shower - box is too small and the wet curtain sticks to your body. Sink too small, it's a problem to bend over - you can hit the mirror shelf above it. A bit small room for a couple but manageable.
Normal breakfast and quiet room. Locate din the city center, many places where to eat and shopping.
Small rooms. The special rooms and the normal ones are exactly the same. A bit pricely comparing to the general offer but Israel is expensive itself.
Well-located in 5 minutes from Yaffa street and Mahane Yehuda market, strong Wi-Fi, hearty breakfast with national cuisine dishes.
The hotel is old enough and some redecorating would not be prevented, no elevator, no parking, but it's good enough to spend 1 or 2 nights.
Excellent location, very friendly staff, clean hotel and very nice breakfast. I would highly recommend the Pelatin Hotel in Jerusalem, and I would for sure go there again.
we like everything!!
Location, great area.
The person at the front reception was very rigid, unhelpful and unfriendly that seemed to ruin our stay there. Car parking for USD20 was mentioned in our reservation confirmation however this was not correct and parking was very expensive. The unfriendly man claimed that the USD20 parking has never occurred and could not explain why it was mentioned in our reservation. Don't now if I would stay there again.
Perfect location, great facilities, great privacy, friendly helpful staff and excellent value for money. Also, breakfast is include. Close to public transport. Good security and a safe, quiet area. The best hotel experience that I've had in a long time.
