The place and the location were exceptional. The building and the room very original and unique architecture. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast unsatisfactory , non professional.
They have tried to do their best but the lack of experience and knowledge was detrimental to their efforts.
1.The stuff is very gentle and helpful. 2. The structure outside and inside is authentic and beautiful. 3. The breakfast was reach and tasty. 4. The room was clean with nice view to lake kineret (the galilee sea). 5.Parking is close to the hotel but not free (four shkels per houre) from 8 AM till 8 PM 6. Price is fair.
Parking is close to the hotel but not free (four shkels per houre) from 8 AM till 8 PM
The peace and quiet. Free use of computer in the main salon reception area. The beautiful fishbowls. Location RIGHT on the promenade therefore close to restaurants and the St. Peter's Catholic Church. Tiberias is quite nice -- Enjoy!
Nice location close to the lake
No reception person, no signs or names for direction or clear address, wrong room setup, dirty appliances and bathrooms, wrong payment methods at check out
The building and the rooms are very traditional
The friendliness of the hotel's manager, the rooms were clean, the upstairs terrace.
Breakfast in an apocalyptic atmosphere: When me, my spouse and my mother went down the stairs to the restaurant, we felt the need for fresh air. Inside, every window was closed, the sun was shinning through the glass windows and the A/C was off. I opened the door towards the outside area and we were approached right away by a man whose first greeting was to tell us in a rude manner to sit inside; that there was no service outside. They had tables and umbrellas outside, so I wondered why wouldn't we be allowed to use the area. Moreover, the breakfast inside consisted in cold toasted bread, and some lousy Arabic salads - nothing fresh, no drink included and there were dirty tables all over. Compared to the service of other hotels in the country within the same price range, it was a big disappointment. After waiting for a while, the same man that had greeted us rudely, came out of the kitchen. When I let him know about my dissatisfaction with the service, he shouted at me that he would only get payed 20 shekels per guest by the hotel's management and asked me to leave his premises if I did not like it. He dared to insult me and my family, and was physically violent towards my person. The hotel manager came down the stairs to try to calm things down, but he would not stop cursing and screaming. She later arranged for us to have breakfast at another restaurant, and was very sorry for what had happened.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again
The girl working in reception was extremely friendly and helpfull. We had a double room with balcony which was very spacious and nice.
No excess to the beach in the hotel erea (but located very central in the city) Only one room with balcony (we were two couples).
The location was very good. We enjoyed the quietness of the room. The roof top patio was especially nice. The rooms were very clean.
Reception was awkward speaking only Russian on the day we arrived. Breakfast did not start until 9. This hotel is cash only!
The view is fantastic, the staff very helpful, friendly and went out of their way to transport us when we needed help. Also opened the restaurant early for breakfast. The hotel is absolutely lovely and what a pleasure to be there.
On the boardwalk of the sea of Galilee. Wonderful view from the rooftop. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast !!!
We liked the beautiful terrace with the view of lake Galilee. Nice and quiet atmosphere.
The room was clean, the facilities were on high level.
Excellent view of the Sea of Galilee, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Couldn't get hot water for shower.
The welcome was very friendly and the subsequent attention of staff was extremely helpful. The atmosphere of this small hotel is very special and the view of the lake from the terrace is magical.
Great location. Exceptionally clean and quite unique lodging facility. Very convenient to the area and the staff were attentive to all our needs.
The television did not have many shows or variety in English and internet service was weak in the room we were in. It was fine in the lobby.
The manager and his wife are wonderful - very helpful, always available for questions. The hotel is lovely - a cross between a boutique hotel and a Pilgrim's Residence - leaning to Boutique Hotel. Very pleasant stay.
Everything was great
The large room for 3 that we had was lovely with a beautiful view and a very attractive interior. Smaller rooms were not very attractive but large corner rooms are.
The rooms were expensive relative to other places. It was noisy at night due to the restaurant downstairs. The breakfast was not available at the time promised and the restaurant staff were not very helpful or friendly. The rooms were expensive for what was provided. There was no soap, hairdryer, etc. in the rooms and service was not very good. We were told things would improve. Credit cards are not accepted and local currency was not encouraged so payment was difficult. The residence was also very difficult to find and you have to pay parking hourly and put card on the car windshield. Due to delay in breakfast, we had to pay a fine.
1- People were nice. 2-Good Location. 3-Beautiful and clean building.
1-There is not a street in front of the hostal, you need to carry the lugage from a parking area to there. 2- The time of the breakfast is inflexible (9am to 10am), just one hour.
Location. Nice room with a great view. Natalie was very helpful
Hotel is more of a guest house than a hotel. No hot water, only one person spoke English with Russian being the main language even all the tv channels are tuned to Russian language. Seemed mainly set up for Russian religious tours who spend one night on their tour round the holy land. The below restaurant was franchised out and breakfast was by special permission and the connecting door had to be opened by appointment.
The location was just perfect. Close to the promenade of the lake, close to the centre. The big room we had was very beautiful because of the interior, the space, and the luxery bathroom with bath. A balcony with a great view. The manager and his wife are angels. Very kind and helpful. Also the other personel is friendly. The managers wife does speak English well, although not mentioned in the reviews. The others do understand you. Russian is the mother language is understandable as the peaceful place is from the orthodox russian missionary. The terrace down near the garden and on the roof, and the breakfast room is just incredible. If you like old buildings, you will very much enjoy this place. It is very well kept with love and care.
Only the first time it is hard to find as it is near a very full parkingspot, out of sight. If the breakfast offers more choise in bread and jams and cheese f.e, then I would give this place the highest recommendation.
The hotel was very interesting and historic. The black bricks and the wooden doors and fittings were beautiful. The manager received us warmly, gave us lots of attention and information and made us feel welcome. He recommended Little Tiberias for dinner and it was perfect. The place was friendly, elegant and the food delicious.
Tiberias has such potential and simply does not live up it it. There are amazing sites in the city yet the ticky tacky atmosphere is prevalent on the promenade despite efforts to upgrade. The city should keep it cleaner!
The staff was very friendly and seen to our every need. The breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant owner provided quality meals. The view of the Sea of Galilee was unmatched.
Wi-Fi was not available most of our stay.
