Breakfast in an apocalyptic atmosphere:
When me, my spouse and my mother went down the stairs to the restaurant, we felt the need for fresh air. Inside, every window was closed, the sun was shinning through the glass windows and the A/C was off. I opened the door towards the outside area and we were approached right away by a man whose first greeting was to tell us in a rude manner to sit inside; that there was no service outside. They had tables and umbrellas outside, so I wondered why wouldn't we be allowed to use the area. Moreover, the breakfast inside consisted in cold toasted bread, and some lousy Arabic salads - nothing fresh, no drink included and there were dirty tables all over. Compared to the service of other hotels in the country within the same price range, it was a big disappointment. After waiting for a while, the same man that had greeted us rudely, came out of the kitchen. When I let him know about my dissatisfaction with the service, he shouted at me that he would only get payed 20 shekels per guest by the hotel's management and asked me to leave his premises if I did not like it. He dared to insult me and my family, and was physically violent towards my person. The hotel manager came down the stairs to try to calm things down, but he would not stop cursing and screaming. She later arranged for us to have breakfast at another restaurant, and was very sorry for what had happened.
The friendliness of the hotel's manager, the rooms were clean, the upstairs terrace.
