Very friendly staff
Entrance doors are closed at night and if the night guard at the reception happens to have a deep nap you can't leave the building in the middle of the night.
Cheap hostel in Jerusalem.
Very limited breakfast.
everything was almost okay but...
there is no double bed only simple twins and it was dirty with hairs and spots
It was false fire-alarm during 30 minutes at middle-night... So, no sleeping after hard day...
the hostel located in a beautiful and quiet street; staff is friendly; very close to alot of parks and museums and university; nice breakfest.
room number is confusing,101 is on the 1st floor, but 201 is on the ground floor...
Size of room Gardens Staff very pleasant Underground free parking Breakfast Security
No swimming pool
spacious lobby, good breakfast, 24 hour front desk, kosher kitchen
extremely rude staff, no late check out possible, housekeeping wakes you up at 8:30 am, construction going on while there are guests. Rooms were dirty (the garbage can in the bathroom was filthy and bloodstained and centuries old chewing gum was sticking to the bathroom door. The rooms do not feel safe, the double rooms are actually 6 bed rooms converted into two bed rooms by folding the spare beds up. No possibility to get food anywhere in that area in the evening (6 pm). Disgusting place which at 74 dollars a night is a RIP OFF!
Colorful and friendly place. Even they are recommending it only for young people, my mom really enjoyed it :-) we've had a double room, it was clean and comfortable, air conditioned.
Would be perfect to have cleaner showers and a bit more of hot water.
Found the location good for us. Price was fair (for Jerusalem...). Rooms were bigger than expected.
No kitchen to prepare or warm up food. Most staff were unhelpful and the front desk was often empty, the night watchmen was very friendly, however. Loud groups in the courtyard until late (1am and beyond) at night. Room could have used an end table or two...
Staff behavior was okay. Location near Israel museum and botanical garden
Do NOT adhere to 24 hours standard check out time (Check in time is 15:00 but check out time is 10:00). Small room, very small bathroom, TV without remote, beds are not joined. Facilities do not match as in the photographs, no telephone facility in the room etc.
Staff were friendly and accommodating. Wifi was very reliable.
The second day of our stay, the maintenance guy and someone else basically barged into our room without even knocking, and then said he was sorry. When we told the front desk and asked why there weren't "do not disturb" signs, they said that this is a hostel and not a hotel. (Not sure what difference that makes.) Breakfasts were very limiting. One morning they served mashed egg that was drowning in mayonnaise. If you want peace and quiet, and not be disturbed by maintenance people yelling in the halls, this is not the place to stay. Very poor accommodations - beds are extremely hard and we had to bring our own mattress from home (we stayed here one time before and woke up with bad backs), one very small table and two VERY uncomfortable chairs. We will only come back if we have no other choice. (We travel to Jerusalem often on business, and this was the only place in our price range available on the dates we needed.)
We really enjoyed the packed breakfast meal that was provided to us when we checked in Saturday night for the following morning post Shabbat. The location is superb if you are planning to visit the Israel museum.
the location was excellent for us in the cultural center of Jerusalm. Free covered parking at the room. The room was modest but very clean and had everything we needed. The price was very good for Jerusalem. Breakfast very good like in much more expensive hotels.
It was difficult to get a telephone answer from the desk. Getting in and out with a car through the gate required looking for the person who had to press the button. This arrangement can be improved.
The staff were lovely and accommodating.
Beds were super hard and there was a ton of noise in the morning. Definitely not suitable for mature guests, who like their comfort and peace and quiet. No cable either.
