A nice clean hotel with good facilities, a lovely spa and swimming pool and very good breakfasts. My main complaint was the fairly businesslike and relatively unfriendly reception staff which one might expect more if it was purely a hotel for businessmen. Also the hotel concierge is hardly ever there to help you - he starts late in the morning and is not there in the evening. Location for tourists with limited time is also something of an issue. It is significantly further from the Old and New cities than most of the other hotels and it requires a taxi ride to almost everything or one can catch a tram which is a good system but a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel. For tourists with limited time I would not stongly recommend this hotel despite its many assets.

The playground, gardens, pool area and leisure facilities were great. It meant we could combine a city break with some relaxation time. The breakfasts were also amazing! The food in the evening was too expensive - so we had to head into town with our 2 young kids to try and find what we could on a Saturday evening

Was a 5 min taxi ride to the gate of old Jerusalem. The breakfast was good. Lots of options to eat. Was no aware that they were re-furbing a whole floor so there were wires hanging out that you could see as you entered the hotel. The pool closed for kids under 14 at 4:00 so our kids could not use the pool when we got back from site seeing. The bathroom was old and run down. Door had water damage all on the bottom. Some days at breakfast they had fresh juice but not the others. One day someone was making eggs, the other 3 days, no one.

Nothing the best thing about your hotel was that we had a bed to sleep in. The room was dirty---there was gum on the floor, the wash rags were never delivered, the staff was mean and nasty......I Could go on an on........... Your hotel is horrible. Poor Customer service, dirty rooms, horrible food, limited hours for kids' activities. Dani land was never open while we were there. The pool was open for only a few hours. There was never a concierge to help us. No information on where to go, how to get around........no information about the Holocaust Memorial day.......You are in the customer service industry, your staff really needs some training. If you would take care of the rooms that you have and have great customer service, no one would mind staying in that run down shack you call a hotel.

We were upgradrd to an executive room in the A wing. The room was comfortable, clean and had an excellence view of Jerusalem. Breakfast was excellent. We attended a wedding at the hotel. The function hall and the food were good. The function was planned by an independent planner. Generally, the staff were very helpful. The hotel was cold. We visited on one of the coldest days of the year and the public areas including the restaurants were not properly heated. Only the heating in the room was adequate. Friends in the B wing of the hotel complained about the rooms including the parents of the groom.

Nice Rooms, great view on the deluxe rooms to the old city. The hotel isn't infant friendly, even requested food didn't served. We called to the hotel 2 days in advanced to ask if an infant food (soup) is available during the weekend and answered that it is. When requested this food at the hotel the staff sent us back and forth to the dining room while saying that it will wait for us at lunch. When we arrived at lunch time we have been told that the hotel does not supply this service. E-Mail to the Dan management was not answered as I excepted. I will not recommend this Hotel to any couples traveling with infants.

We upgraded to Executive rooms & they were only six months old. Beautifully decorated. There was a noise from the courtyard outside our rooms. Maybe a generator or A/C. My mother who had booked a room with walk in shower was very disappointed because the floor was nearly flat & the water splashed all over the floor. There was only a shower curtain. Also there was not enough surfaces to put her cosmetics etc. My room with a bath did not have those [roblems.

Service was excellent. Room was comfortable. Dining was adequate. The unpredictable availability of WiFi was very disappointing. For those not using tour buses, travel around Jerusalem could have been better. There was inadequate shuttle service to the center of the city. There was no shuttle service to the light rail service. Getting travel instructions was spotty and difficult to follow. The concierge was not always available.

I enjoyed the layout of the room, the friendly service not only for the make up each morning of the room, but the service in the main dinning room and the quality and diversity of the food My room was with a shower stall. My only complaint is that the floor of the shower stall was rather slippery while taking a shower. I would suggest you either rough up the shower floor or put something on the floor to make it less slippery. I had to be extra careful not to fall when showering.

The location, breakfast was varied and tastey The booking with booking.com was not in conjunction with the hotel. I reserved 4 rooms on the same reservation and pin number and they did not have the 4 rooms together. It took much convincing that the rooms should be together and we came as a family. The internet should be free and unlimited. In any small and one star hotel all over the world, the internet is free and unlimited. It is completely disproportionate to charge 70 shekel for 24 hours and 30 for 1 hour. There is no 12 hour charge. In 2 hours you pay the same as24 hours !!! I requested sabbath meals and we were not listed for them when I reconfirmed.

It was in a good location for us, the room was clean, roomy and quiet, the a/c worked well and there was even a refrigerator. I stood on the balcony in the early morning and took in the sounds of Jerusalem waking up as the sun rose. Nice. At 8 am while I was working and my wife was still sleeping, the cleaning guy knocked at our door. I told him we didn't need anything, but 15 minutes later he stopped by again asking if we wanted anything. Aside from being rude - hell, we paid $200+ for the night so my wife could sleep in without being woken by our kids - that's stupid: if we'd been out to breakfast he would have changed our towels, then we would have used the new towels when we returned to the room, then they would have changed them after we checked out later that day. What a waste. Also, there's a sign in the bathroom saying they're eco-friendly, but the toilet only has one flush setting, so you waste a lot of water flushing. And they're repairing the bathrooms in the lobby so there's a faint sewage smell by the lobby elevators. Finally, the breakfast was filling, but it looked better than it tasted.

This was a treasure of a hotel - just outside the city center and such a gorgeous design. Staff were friendly, room amazing, views unbelievable. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Breakfast was awesome! They have a convenient shuttle to downtown and the kotel. There is also the Jerusalem light rail nearby. When we were there we had an amazing view of the pool and the hills of Jerusalem. Shabbat services at the hotel were also amazing. I enjoyed the spa, playing tennis, swimming and relaxing on the balcony. Hope to come back to Jerusalem and the Dan Jerusalem soon.
