Renaissance Tel Aviv Hotel121 Hayarkon Street, 63453 Tel Aviv (Show map) Good, Score from 197 reviews“nice big room, excellent location on the beach, good breakfast and helpfull staff”
Jeanine,
Stockholm
The Renaissance Tel Aviv is right on the beach. The hotel offers a spa center with indoor swimming pool, and rooms with views of the sea, the marina or of Jaffa. The Renaissances’s spa center includes a spa, sauna and hot tub. The hotel offers direct access to the stunning beach on the Mediterranean Sea, where a range of water sports can be enjoyed. The hotel offers a great choice of dining options. The Jaffa Terrace is open throughout the day, and the Dairy restaurant offers a range of dairy and vegetarian cuisine. The Sabres Brasserie, overlooking the sea, serves Mediterranean cuisine and international buffets. The Renaissance is within easy walking distance of the city’s main shopping, business and entertainment districts. The ancient city of Jaffa can easily be reached, as can other city attractions such as the open air Carmel Market and Dizengoff Center Shopping Mall. Hotel Rooms: 342, Hotel Chain: Marriott Hotels & Resorts,Renaissance Hotels & Resorts.

I liked the location. Bad service. Children running wild all over the place at all times day and night. Completely over priced. No free access to internet. Had to pay every time to use computer. Had to pay for parking. Bell boy very discourteous and disobliging.

The location of the hotel, on the seaside, is very good. The hotel serves a good breakfast. The quality of the rooms is not satisfactory according to the rates and the 4 stars.

Location Poor hotel staff service. Hotel staff misinformed me on several items at check-in. Hotel overcharged taxi to airport, found out by walking one block taxi to airport was half the price.

Lovely room and terrace with spectacular views of the sea (at least on the side of the hotel facing the Sheraton); very comfortable and elegant, superb cleanliness.Direct access to the beach was priceless and the staff was courteous, helpful and well informed. An outdoors pool would have been preferable. The breakfast buffet was ok but not spectacular (a not very important critique). Also, I think this hotel and all others on hayarkon overcharge by 40-50 dollars compared to what you get in similar hotels elsewhere around the world. I guess they do so bc they know people will pay to stay by the seashore.

As a former travel writer,I've covered venues all over the world. The Renaissance is on the top of my list for service, lovely rooms, excellent beds and pillows, 5 star Israeli soup to nuts buffet breakfast, terrific Concierge Club Floor with WiFi computers, outstanding food and service all day. They even serve an included simple but delicious buffet dinner with wine, etc. They are the only hotel in Tel Aviv with direct beach access. Get on the beach early if that's your thing and buy a chair, table and umbrella - about US$6.00 ( 20 Sk'alim) for the day and hold onto it,or someone will swipe it. With soft toilet paper, great towels and the above this is my pick in Tel Aviv. Helpful polite staff. Can walk to shopping on Dizengoff St.,Dizengoff Centre, but taxi to Ramat Aviv Mall - the best. Do not go to Carmel Shuka market without protecting your valuables. Necia Tova - Have a good trip;. There are few things to dislike. This was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. However, because the hotel is on the beach, (Hayarkon St.) as are most of the big hotels in Tel Aviv, you'll need to take cabs if walking is difficult for you. Shekels or Sk'alim (plural) are approx. 3 to1 to the US $ at this time, so you'll need more that you think. Use an ATM, which is not available in the hotel for the best exchange rate.

Great location - right on the beach and the promenade with a direct entery to the beach (just take a towel in the reception of the swimming pool and go straight to the beach). All the rooms have sea view and nice views of the city. The balcony is small, but comfortable. Excellent quality buffet breakfast with quit a large selection and a beautiful view to the beach. Big and pleasant lobby and an open air terrace. The hotel is facing the sea, but all the rooms have only a side sea view. All the rooms on each side of the building (North or South), are the same, with the same view, but the rooms on the higher floors and closer to the beach, are quieter.

We are repeat customers of the Renaissance, Tel Aviv. We love the location, service, and decor. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and are always gracious. The food and restaurant service are consistently excellent as well.

nice big room, excellent location on the beach, good breakfast and helpfull staff there is a lack of attention to details when it comes to the cleaning of the room. In general its ok but the staff forgets the towels on the floor, do not clean the balcony which is full with sand, do not take away or clean cups and glases and the same with the dinning table.

They charged my credit card before I arrived, which was not teh agreement done. When I complained they just said it's their police. It didn't make a difference for me, but when the hotel says it will not charge in advance, they must honour that statement.
