Restal is clean and comfortable with a great pool.
Lack of kosher certification.
Good little hotel with very friendly staff. Not a 5 star hotel, but it does its job and has everything that it promises. Very clean.
The breakfast was sort of small and there weren't too many options, but other than that the hotel is exactly what was promised.
Very friendly and kind staff!!! Clean, 5 minutes from Big shopping center and 10 minutes from Kineret
Swimming pool - Lifeguard only from 16:00 till 20:00. From the morning till 16:00 the swimming pool is open, but there is now Lifeguard , which is not safe. During the checkout the person in reception tried to charge according to extremely high exchange rate. When the Shekel - Dollar rate was 3.42, he tried to charge according to 3.55. Finally agreed to reduce the rate - good, but need to make sure they are not doing this for all the tourists.
Afraid not a lot. When finding that our double-bedded room was in fact a twin, management did offer an alternative but that was smaller and on the busy traffic side so we declined that and stayed put. Had a buffet meal which was better than expected though not memorably good. Internet worked fine.
From A-Z: Signage to the hotel was diabolical. Location - awful, dirty. A car is a must! The hotel purports to be 4* - absolutely not! It can only pretend to be 4* based on its pool - not bad..except that the only lounger available was FILTHY - when asked they did wash off the coffee and whatever else... and the fitness room - VERY bad - no weights, so ill-equipped, all the machines looked ancient but more importantly, no fresh towels and NO WATER. Ridiculous closing hour of 8pm - apparently because Israeli law dictates there must be a lifeguard present and if he's only paid for limited hours, they are the hours the pool will open. The room itself was adequate - felt that it wasn't sparklingly clean. Twin beds rather than double booked - offered double but this was in a triple room on the noisy side of the hotel, exactly the same size room, 1xdouble + 1single so room a lot smaller in terms of available space. Pillows AWFUL - lumpy. Breakfast just about acceptable. This hotel specialises in deals for coach parties and they were there in full volume - no peace at the pool! Think they should re-grade to 3* at the very most and be a little more transparent about their offering. Fine for coachloads of people passing through but not ideal for those expecting 4* standards of food and service. Sadly their location will not change.
the young lady on the reception desk was absoutely marvellous: so keen to help in every way. The evening dinner was wonderful too. It was very handy being just a short walk from the bus station.
Free WiFi Free Parking Good, quality breakfast
No room safe.
Nice hotel, recently made over and clean. The staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was basic but did offer some choice. The pool is clean but medium size.
Even though I ordered a double bed, we got twin beds And refused to change the room
The staff was nice and helpful, the food was diverse, but the assortment monotonous though.
Actually, the hotel does not match the category of 4-star hotels. First of all, there are no "Do not disturb" signs, and the staff have no idea of the customer privacy. When my husband and I were sleeping following the early breakfast (because of a sleepless night as a result of the hotel location), an employee just knocked on the door, waking us both, and at the same moment opened the door with the key. Another thing is the location, which turned out a real trouble. The hotel is situated on a busy road, just opposite the central bus station, so the noise coming from buses is incredible, even at night. I was not able to fall asleep during two nights. My husband was luckier though... Moreover, you have to use an alarm-clock not to be late for breakfast: it is served from 6.30 a.m. up to 8.30 a.m. only! I've never seen such inconvenient time: all European four-star hotels offer breakfast up to 11 a.m. But here you have no chance for a good sleep in the morning being on a holiday. One more unpleasant thing: there was no soap in the shower booth. Okay, I had a shampoo and a conditioner on me, but again: there was not even a shelf to put all this stuff! On the third day of our stay someone of the room service left a couple of bottles of detergents in our bathroom, so we had to breath in this chemistry till our check-out. Regarding all the above, we checked out a day earlier than planned and just left the city. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
Economy room was comfortable, clean and soundproofing was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially the butler in the dining room! Food was good. I recommend.
