Perfect point to visit the Old Jerusalem. You do not need to use the public transport and taxis. Close do Damascus gate and yhe bus terminal with buses to Bethlehem every 15 minuts. If you get the room from the back side - is very quiet. Excellent breakfast - fresh, varied and large. Wifi was only in restaurant and lobby, not in the rooms at second floor, but works pretty good. It was not yhe cleanest place we have ever seem but it was not so bad.
Weak wifi coverage.
the staff are pretty helpful
has wifi connection only in the cafeteria
Breakfast was good and location.
Tv didn't work and there was no fridge in the room.
rooms had no wifi, it was only at dinning room
Very close proximity to the Old town, just few mins of walking. Average breakfast.
Older hotel that would need a renovation but perfect for someone who's just looking for a place to sleep.
- wifi available in meeting room - smoking allowed in meeting room
Great location for visiting Al Aqsa, would definitely come again very honest and fair management
One of the cheapest options around. Basic service but nothing to really complain.
Senior staff should be more willing to help tourists... and to admit mistakes
Good breakfast, bed and internet. Very clean.
The hotel is near to Damascus Gate, but it is far of the public transportation and the others atractions of Jerusalem. The shower is terrible. There is a bracket on the wall but the shower is skewed, you have that hold in the hand and the water not hot enough.
fab central location 5 mins walk from Damascus gate breakfast basic but ok and included in price helpful, friendly staff
VERY basic accommodation showerhead impossible (but water pressure and heat OK) access difficult due to new road closures no elevator
Very close from old city, Damas gate, muslim distric
Not very clean, poor breakfast, no wifi in room ... Only way to go is low price to be close from old city
Location is great, just a few minutes walk from the old city. The staff was generally kind and helpful, although no one was at the reception when I arrived. It turned out they were watching TV in the lounge on the 1st floor. Brekfast was OK, vegetables, hummus, pita etc... and of course milk and cereals. I think I got a completely fair value for my money.
The wireless was not working in my room, only on the corridor and the lounge. I guess its not the problem of my phone, as I see others were complaining as well. The bathroom is extremely weird with a sitting bathtub. Other people may find it a bit annoying (I did not) that the some rooms face an arabic cemetery.
Location and staff
considering the level of the rooms and furniture, quite old, it could cost less
Clean, good location, good breakfast, expensive but cheap for Jerusalem.
Wifi doesn't work in the rooms.
The staff is ok, friendly and polite. Try to speak only to the blonde young guy and with the boys who help you with your luggage.
The sheets are broken and the blanket is very old. The bathroom is unsafe and you don't have hot water all the time. The manager is a very rude person, pay attention that he does not accept any feedback. If you say something bad about the conditions he is offering he feels offended and argue with you. Don't pay in advance. The furniture is very old, it needs serious refurbishing and the carpet has to be changed. It's old and does not look clean. If you decide to stay here bring a pair of beach slippers with you as you can not stay bare feet in this hotel.
Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, location close to Old City and to bus to Bethlehem.
Location just outside the old city was superb. Good price compared to other hotels of same ranking in similar location Room at back of hotel was quiet as it overlooked a cemetery
Breakfasts were very meagre Furniture, carpets, etc. wee quite worn No elevator for guests
Location, value for money.
Some of the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff I ever come across.
Location close to Old City is excellent. Easy to find. Friendly personell. Breakfast adequate.
Noisy street behind the window, lots of noise during the night and the traffic starts early at morning. The whole hotel is old fashioned (which obviously explains the price) and would urgently need refurbishment. No lift.
very convenient for visiting the old city, though the traffic is hectic if you drive a car. staff was very helpful with keeping my bikes at the storage on ground floor. rooms facing the graveyard are quiet
no hot water! carpet not clean. "paper" doors - you hear every whisper at the corridor, bathroom and carpet are "not clean"
- location: much more interesting area than 'central' jerusalem/jaffa center. very near old city and bus to bethlehem. - manager/staff: reasonable and fair. we had certain issues with our stay which he resolved to our satisfaction. mr. nadir has a good staff who do what they can to accommodate requests. - good price/quality ratio. - quiet (if you stay in one of the rooms facing the graveyard - which was very atmospheric). - felt safe in the hotel and around it (jerusalem police station across the street). - ample, if redundant (usually the case in most hotels in the middle east, i'm guessing - not one to eat hummus first thing in the morning), breakfast.
- hotel had grungy carpeting and upholstered furniture, so even if the staff does a good job of cleaning/tidying up the room there are non-visible residue/bugs. it's the 2010s, not many people want carpeting that cannot be thoroughly cleaned. - wifi spotty; ask for a room on the lower floor close to the stairwell/lounge.
Everything was good
Wifi in rooms would be better
1) Location was decent. 2) It was inexpensive
1) Front desk attendant blatantly lied to me about getting to the airport. 2) Carpet in room was gross 3) Bathtub was too small and dangerous. Almost fell twice. 4) The cable was minimal
