The hospitality of Sister Victoria
How amazing to be in Nazareth. Go to the Basilica of the Annunciation. As I was driving in from Tiberias, I stopped in Cana at the Church of the Wedding Feast. At this hotel, they say the Holy Mass at 8:30 am (I think) preceded by the Holy Rosary. I stayed in a room right on the terrazo and the view of the full moon over the Basilica of the Annunciation was breathtaking. Also, every Saturday evening at 8:30 pm there is a procession there.
Location is bad. Too far away from the main sites that one would like to see in Nazareth.
It is a monastry and that should be mentioned in the hotel profile.
I would have liked a bit more variety at breakfast but it is a small guest house so one cannot ask for a massive buffet. It was fine.
My room and bathroom were spacious and well kept. The staff was friendly. The environment is very relaxing. The garden is beautiful.
The Rosary website said there was no curfew at the House. In fact, a strict 10,pm curfew was in place.
nothing we didn't like- Initially hard to find
location, pleasant surroundings, gracious and helpful personnel, cleanliness
Some energy is required to access it :)
A peaceful place, very good for a pilgrimage
Lovely relaxing and friendly . orange blossoms in the garden made for amazing breakfast ...
Wifi was only obtainable in the reception area. Room (garden one) was dark. Bathroom on the small side. Unless you take some form of motorised transport (cabs tended not to like the short drive from Basilica area where ppl typically find themselves when they first arrive in Nazareth), it is a real hike with your luggage along the road or up the lovely, but difficult stairs to the guest house.
Peace and tranquility of the area the guest house was situated in.
