Helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Breakfasts were amazing. Service is tops
rooms a little small and could use a bit of a facelift
Family home-like atmosphere, very welcoming with evening aperitif offered and an excellent buffet breakfast with local (homemade?) very tasty jams and marmalade, fruits etc. Soft relaxing music in the lobby area and a great roof terrace.
We have stayed at Shalom hotel & relax several times as it has always been a class above other hotels in Israel. The decor is lovely and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The happy hour and breakfast are also great!
This time we were told we had a very good room but we were very disappointed. It was extremely small compared to other rooms we've previously stayed in for the same price. None of our requests on our booking had been matched. It would have been ok for a single person. We were changed rooms very quickly but to one barely any bigger. The hotel is still very nice however we feel it's looking a bit tired and more like other israeli hotels. We noticed a lot of the paint work was chipped and stained. The bathroom looked quite tired and in need of a good clean.
pretty inside overall, nothing much to read, no real feeling of being in Israel. Made mistake with the booking thought i booked for 2 instead booked for one but they made me pay an extra thought they may have made an exception.
Room tiny for the 300 dollars spent on it, without any free amenity, fruit in the room etc. breakfast fair, had better for less.
wifi not working right
Great boutique style breakfast !!
Excellent location, extremely helpful and pleasant staff, lovely rooms, great breakfasts!
The hotel was located across from beach access. The staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good.
The room was quite small, making it difficult for 2 people to maneuver around the room at the same time.
The following was fantastic: Staff Happy hour Porridge Rooms Massage Roof garden Breakfast Breakfast room Free Bikes
the location was excellent. breakfast was very good.
not right on the waterfront, but across the street from the beachfront.
Awesome breakfast, nice happy hours, charming terrace, nice staff serving at the tables
This boutique is designed to every little detail. From the Lobby and the lovely and rich breakfast, to the room which is well equipped with the finest stuff, and the service which was very personal!
We arrived very late at night and were greeted by a smiling and very helpful member of staff. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable, and we had no complaints at all. The breakfast was amazing with very friendly and helpful staff. We recommend this hotel very highly and made arrangement on leaving to spend our return to Tel Aviv at the hotel.
Too much excellent food on offer at breakfast so making a decision was very difficult
The Shalom Hotel & Relax has a personal touch and a caring, very professional staff - great if you are on the road and sick & tired of the usual business hotels. Not far from the beach, good for running some miles to Jaffa and back. Nice restaurants around.
Well, water temperature of the shower could be a bit higer...
location complementary afternoon tea
sheets were dirty carpet was wet staff was inpatients and rude towels were hard and small
Pleasant staff, terrific roof deck overlooking the Mediterranean, very nice breakfast
One of the best breakfasts in way of variety and quality. Very helpful staff
The hotel was a lovely oasis of serenity. Décor was soothing. The interior space was fragrant in a nice way. Staff was attentive. Rooms were modern and chic. Complimentary lotions were awesome. Table service for made-to-order breakfast selection was a delight. Just what all boutique hotels ought to be.
The team of Shalom Hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, best breakfast in Israel! The hotel is very clean and cosy.
The room was very small, but that's like everywhere in Tel Aviv.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were proactive and helpful. A pleasant boutique hotel.
The room was dark and small with no view. No creamer for the coffee and tea in the room, however, i have no doubt they would have provided it in a minute if i had asked for it.
The rooms are very very small, not bearable. Same thing for the shower...
Breakfast, location and Facility.
Room was very small
Everything was on my satisfaction, great place!
The hotel is charming. We were greeting with sheer warmth. Avi, the reception manager greeted us with fresh sweet cherries and Max Brenner chocolates. Our room, facing the park, was spacious, modern and immaculate and the king size bed very comfortable. We had a refrigerator with bottled water and a very large shower complete with luxury Sabon toiletries. The best was the over the board breakfasts, the likes I've never seen anywhere. We spent three glorious weeks at the Shalom and hated to leave. On our 18th anniversary, we were gifted with wine, sweets and a lovely selection of Israeli soaps and oils. We truly felt like we were home! Daisy, Eti, Keren, Yureal, And all of the staff were truly exceptional! We would never consider staying at any other hotel in Tel Aviv!
Having to leave!
