I've stayed here previously; this time in a smaller room, which had the facilities I needed and was comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly, and resolved any issues. Central location was again perfect for everything I needed to access.
I would recommend the deluxe room over the basic room - in comparison, it had better soundproofing/ layout. Weak wifi took a bit longer to resolve than I would have preferred.
Good location and level of apartment confort.
WIFI speed still need to be improved. Location some times could be noisy during the night. More noise isolation it would be great.
Location is the most advantage of this hotel. We stayed in a room on a upper floor with a yard-side window -- this room was enough quiet. Reception does not work after 11 p.m. -- hotel sends a letter with an explanation how to reach in. But the hotel's door with code was broken, so we called up to "emergency" telephone number -- employe came immediately and helped us; next day the lock was fixed. I think, this hotel is a good choice))
There is no stove on a kitchen. Two single beds of a double bed((
I got a low floor with back view which wasn't the most pleasant.
Location and value for money. Wonderful manager Ben who was very welcoming and helpful! Made up for initial disastrous arrival and rude receptionist.
Arrived in the early hours of the morning after an all night flight and doors were locked. Passing taxi advised of another place that we had to go to for late night arrivals. Long way with heavy suitcases. Very rude lady at that place who said we should have known our place only opened at 8.00 am!
Location is good--a block off Ben Yehuda Street & 2 blocks off Jaffa Rd. Lots of shops, restaurants, and Mehane Yehuda market close by. Big sliding glass doors & lots of sunshine coming in.
Beds are narrow & not long enough for tall men--husband & son were uncomfortable. Bathrooms poorly installed and maintained but could be a lot nicer with a little work. Mold, smell & drain issues. One room a little noisy. 15 minute walk to old city.
The location was great, staff extremely helpful and a fair price.Good laundry service available.
Even though it was non smoking somehow the bathroom smelt of cigarette smoke.Staff did their best to resolve it asap.
Location, staff, fair sized apartment
I liked everything! A very helpful staff, good location, near to restaurants, cafes and bars, 10 minutes walk to the market, 15 minutes to the Central Bus Station, 20 minutes to the Old City. Very clean nice room, it's worth for money.
The rooms with balconies on street are slightly noisy, but it's interesting to watch the city life, so it's ok. No cooking facilities, however microwave and water cooker.
I missed a full length mirror
Perfect location. Very friendly and helpful reception. The rooms are very comfortable and clean with a fully equipped kitchen. I liked the two balconies in my suite.
The room was spacious and very comfortable, just like it looked on the web site so not disappointed.
The noise outside Saturday night through to Sunday morning :(
The location and the friendly receptionists. What we liked very much was we were upgraded to a studio de luxe. It was big and luxurious with a nice view.
Spacious appartment on a very central location.
The shower is integrated in the bath tub. The bath is too small to fit a normal person.
The staff - no matter who was on duty, the highest level of service was always provided. Also, the bathroom and particularly the shower - well done!
Very noisy at night - not hotel's fault, though.
friendly, great location, unusually for Israel, great staff
Would have liked to stay a little longer.
location. also the facilities offered after check out were very helpful. shower etc, called for a sherut etc. rooms and facilities are very typical of price vs facilities in jerusalem (not my first visit.)
doesn't really look like the photos. still, its fine, and the location is excellent.
Excellent staff, especially Tanya who's personal attention to our needs made our stay more enjoyable. The hotel's location is excellent for walking to the City Center, Old City and Machane Yehuda market. Comfortable room with balcony.
The only problem we had was lack of an Internet connection. I had to go into the hallway and wait for 4-5 minutes for a connection but usually lost it once I returned to my room. Mike had told me each floor has its own router but Tanya told me that my room, #61 had the worse reception and that management hadn't yet fixed the problem.
It was ideal for our purposes. It's close to plenty of shipping, the main thoroughfares, the Old City, and the new rail on Jaffa Street
My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights here at the end of September and we couldn't of asked for better service, location, facilities and overall value. When we arrived we were greeted extremely warmly and we were provided with a wealth of useful information about the area including possible tours and recommendations of where and what to eat and drink. Our room had everything we needed including free wifi, air conditioning, satellite TV, a sufficiently equipped kitchenette, a great shower, safe and balcony. I was worried when booking that the room would not be cleaned daily as it is an apartment rather than a hotel but we returned each afternoon after an exhausting day travelling round to a spotless made up room which was fab. The location was amazing especially considering the very reasonable price that we paid. Mahane Yehuda market and the Old City were both about a ten minute walk away and a Jerusalem light rail stop was even closer. There are also a couple of late night food shops nearby that also came in handy and Cofix on Ben Yehuda Street (30 second walk away) is perfect for a morning coffee and pastry for just 10 shekels. I have visited Jerusalem many times and staying here made this trip the best yet and I will definitely be returning here in the future.
we liked very much the location; the staff was friendly and the room was clean
Our room had a problem which was supposed to get fixed by 4 pm (we checked in around 3 pm). They could not fix it and about 7 pm we had to move to different rooms. We were moved to the 2nd floor and our room was noisy until the early hours. At least the room rate we paid was quite high for what it has to offer. The room rate in $ posted on booking.com was inaccurate because the hotel uses a fixed exchange rate (I was told) to convert the room rate from NIS to $, which was significantly higher than the exchange rate at the time of the booking. This should be fixed or disclosed.
Location near the old city, 15 minutes walk
After so many days no clean sheets
