Clean, quite and nice arabic hotel without kosher meal. Not far from Old city. Very good breakfast, high speed free wi-fi.

Windows of our room were faced to a street side and it was a bit noisy and without significant view. On the booking.com site the room we booked was described as a double room with a sofa. In fact it was a small room without a sofa. The most dissapointing thing was that the pool on the roof didn't work.

We booked a standard room for 2 persons which smelled like cigar at arrival. With no problems we received a new slightly bigger room. The personnel is outstanding friendly and helpful (takes care of parking the car, bringing luggage to the room, serving generous drinks at the bar and any other questions or requests). The location of the hotel is in short walking distance to the old city. A taxi to the new city centre takes about 10 minutes.

Especially the bath room is rather old and not very comfortable.

Situated in East Jerusalem, near to the Damuscus Gate, good location from which to explore the Old City. Roof terrace with view over Jerusalem, roof restaurant, as well as a small garden with sitting area. Welcome drink and fruit. Spacious room with luxurious bathroom.

The room had no balcony, which had been one of the reasons for choosing this hotel. Breakfast was very disappointing: limited menu, modified to suit the tastes of visiting tour groups, rather than offering a selection of traditional local dishes, as we had experienced in other hotels in Israel. The bedroom carpet was littered, with objects left by previous guests and needed a thorough vacuum cleaning.

Arab hospitality is evident in this hotel; I felt pampered and very welcomed!

The hotel is brand new, very clean and modern. Big room. Amazing pool on the roof with a stunning view over the city. Staff was very helpful, I made a booking for the wrong day and they resolved the problems without any problems. Excellent value for money.

Great location but the hotel needs to seriously educate their staff on local sites and amenities.

St. George landmark welcomes you with a complimentary bottle of water and a plate of paklava! There's a channel that plays movies all day and night, and a restaurant that has a great view and live music. The swimming pool also has an incredible view, and very worth swimming and relaxing in. The breakfast buffet in the morning is something to look forward to everyday, with the scrambled eggs, pancakes, variety of cheese's, yogurt, sausage, veggies, fruits etc.

The only complaint is that the staff is a little young, and rough around the edges, but still try very hard to please the customer. I highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely stay there again!

Very welcoming hotel staff. Great views of the city from the top floor balcony. Excellent roof top swimming pool (just opened after maintenance). Poolside drinks were possible to arrange (via the turquoise restaurant) but this needs to be better organised for clients. Very good breakfast service.

The hotel is close to a busy road with heavy traffic, especially buses, which start early in the morning. However, in fairness, this problem can be an issue with many hotels in Jerusalem.

The location is incredible, so close to the Old City! The staff are still learning but they are so willing and enthusiastic. The top floor is out of this world, the pool (which they just opened) is on the roof top, and their Lebanese restaurant Turquoise is divine! The rooms were nicely furnished and had everything you need. Overall, good value for money. Great wifi too.

I found the mattress a bit hard.

The hotel is ideally located, close to the Old City of Jerusalem, about 5 mins walking distance. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, and all staff members were professional and friendly. We enjoyed our short stay at the hotel a lot! Coming back, guaranteed...

The hotel is a first class hotel! in all standards, yet with a great "twist"! it is run and managed by people who appreciate service, and always try to do the best for you, with the core cultural hospitality! Don't miss the 5th floor view!

The swimming pool was not open yet, but it should be a great hi-light since it is on the roof with great view!

Brand new hotel and everyone is excited to be there. Great staff, great location. It was such a pleasure to see everyone at the hotel so friendly and so happy, such a welcomed change from the usually depressed faces in Jerusalem. Lovely authentic lebanese food.

I was looking forward to use the Rooftop pool which overlooks the old city, but it's still closed! Also no gym!

Very good hotel with high quality services , 5 minutes walks from Damasco Gate , new Hotel with very nice room and very kind staff. Very good breakfast . next time I will choice again this hotel.

Lage zur Altstadt, schöne Dachterrasse

Ich habe mit meiner betagten Mutter vom 22. bis 30.4.2013 im Zimmer 317 genächtigt. Ein Doppelzimmer mit Dusche, Balkon und deutschsprachigem Satellitenkanal waren für uns die Bedingungen. Erstere waren in der Zimmerbeschreibung angeboten, letzteres habe ich erfragt, da meine Mutter alters- und gesundheitsbedingt doch mehr Zeit am Zimmer verbringen muss. Duschen – entgegen der Ausschreibung - haben nur die Behindertenzimmer, wie das mit der Nummer 317. Dafür muss man auf den Balkon verzichten. Ein deutschsprachiger Fernsehsender wurde uns mündlich und schriftlich zugesichert, doch es gibt ihn nicht. Die Alternative ist die „Deutsche Welle“ in englischer Sprache! +) In 8 Nächten wurde die Bettwäsche nie gewechselt und war schon beim Zimmerbezug fleckig und haarig. +) Beim Duschen stand innerhalb weniger Augenblicke das gesamte Bad unter Wasser und die Fliesen wurden rutschig wie eine Eisfläche. Sämtliche peelingtauglichen Badetücher mussten auf den Boden gelegt werden, um heil ins Zimmer zu kommen. Die im Preis inkludierten flauschigen Bademäntel erreichten das Zimmer 317 nie. +) Wurde das Zimmer nicht aufgeräumt, erhielt ich die Behauptung, ich könne „Do not disturb“ nicht von „Please clean the room“ unterscheiden. Aber man hatte uns um die Mittagszeit ein Taxi gerufen und uns wegfahren gesehen – unabhängig davon, dass ich durchaus des Englischen mächtig bin. +) Auch ohne „Montezumas Rache“ sind nach 3 Tagen 1 ½ Rollen Toilettenpapier aufgebraucht und bei Urgenz dauerte es DREI Stunden, bis diese nachgebracht wurden! +) Die defekte Minibar wurde erst nach 3 Tagen ausgetauscht. Für einen Diabetiker, der Medikamente kühlen muss, eine Katastrophe. Lebensmittel mussten entsorgt werden. +) Eines Abend klemmte der Schiebetürenschrank und musste ausgebaut werden. + Die Verschalung über der Toilette löste sich wiederholt. +) Fenster und inneres Fensterbrett starren vor Dreck.

La piscine fermée, élément qu'ils se gardent d'indiquer sur leur site! Très très décevant car j'avais réservé surtout pour ça. Le personnel moyennement accueillant. Le bruit! Notre chambre étant située sous le restaurant, le ménage en bougeant les meubles au dessus de nos tête à 3 h du matin, pas cool du tout! De plus notre chambre donnait sur la rue et l'insonorisation des fenêtres est mauvaise. Bruit aussi en terrasse du ventilateur des cuisines (plus odeurs) venant gâcher la vue magnifique sur la vieille ville.

1) La nourriture et le service du restaurant (diner) laisse à désirer. 2) Le personnel de l'hôtel ne connaissent pas la ville, ne peuvent nous indiquer d'endroits à visiter et leurs locations et ne nous réfèrent à aucun restaurants lorsqu'on leur demande. 3) L'hôtel a une entente exclusive avec une compagnie de taxi qui n'est pas fiable et n'est pas honnête. Un soir, un chauffeur nous a chargé 150 Shekels pour un court trajet, qui le même coûte environ 50 shekels en pleine heure de pointe. À 3 reprises, les taxis réservés à l'avance par les soins de l'hôtel sont arrivés plus de 15 minutes en retard et une fois l'hôtel a oublié de réserver le taxi tel qu'il avait été convenu. 4) L'hôtel en soit est très bruyant. Le personnel de l'entretient entre dans les chambre sans frapper et ce, à tout moment de la journée, aussi bien a 7h le matin qu'à 16h l'après-midi.
