In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.

Offering a 24-hour front desk, Jerusalem Castle Hotel is located in Jerusalem. The property is 1 km from Mamilla Mall where you will find many restaurants, shops and cafes.

National Hotel is in one of Jerusalem's busiest shopping districts, a 5 minute drive from Herod's Gate, an entrance into Jerusalem's Old City. Parking and Wi-Fi are both free.
Score from 890 reviews Very good
The Sephardic House is located near the Zion Gate at the entrance to the Jewish Quarter and is within walking distance from all major sights.

The location is perfect, only roughly 10-minute walk from Damascus gate. We arrived at 4:30am and the gate into the court yard was close, however, the security working that shift realized we needed in and quickly opened the gate for us and checked us in quickly. The breakfast was a simple spread of hard boiled eggs, savory pastries, fresh vegetables to make a simple yet delicious Mediterranean style salad. All self serve, including drinks, coffee, juice and water. Large clean rooms with water kettle for tea. Very nice on those cold nights.
The only two complaint I have are, there was virtually no wifi signal in my room (38) and there was definitely a mildew problem in the bathroom. I knew because I am diagnosed with hyper allergic reaction to indoor and outdoor mold. As soon as I am in the room, my allergy went crazy. Then I noticed how overly humid the room is compared to the outside. Jerusalem is extremely dry, so the humid room was strange to me. But, I went around and took photos of the mildew that I can clearly see all around the bathroom. If the staff could wash everything down with a diluted bleach solution, it will help eliminate the issue. I did not complain while there because we only spent short time sleeping each night. And did not have time to chat with the manager about this. We had to check out at 4am to catch sunrise at Masada.
An excellent location: the Old City, Olive mountain and main museums within easy reach. Very attentive and helpful personnel. Quite spacious room (at least our was), picturesque building, really beatiful garden. Good housekeeping. Wi-fi worked OK.
Our travel was in early January, so outside temperature was close to zero C. Rooms needed additional heating, and airconditioner was a bit noisy at nighttime. No really hot breakfast, mainly cold dishes in a cold restaurant - only hot drinks helped to survive.
Location was excellent and staff very helpfull.
It would have been good to have an evening at St George's .
The location is excellent: Just a block away from the Garden Tomb, and a 5 minute walk from Damascus Gate of the Old City. There's a tram stop on the main road about 200 meters from the guest house that will take you non-stop to Jerusalem's Central Station. I was in Jerusalem for Christmas. This was exactly the right place to be because of their Christian orientation. The staff arranged for a special Christmas eve service at the Nativity Church in Bethlehem with transport for its guests for only 50 shekels. The breakfast was just fine. I loved the classic old stone work everywhere and the beautiful central patio / garden.
There was a minor confusion on checkout. Garo had told me one price on checkin, but I had to pay a little more at checkout. If you change your reservation, be sure to get clarification on the price.
Rooms Parking full of character value for money
a bit more variety in breakfast
There is a real sense of Christian community. The adjoining Church has regular services at which one is also made to feel welcome. The staff are helpful, friendly and relaxed. The rooms are modestly appointed but very clean and full of character. Breakfast is excellent. Safe and friendly accomodation for the unpretentious traveller.
Central to old city..a safe haven ..beautiful quiet historical ..amazing place..my favorite in all of israel!
Within easy walking (15min) of Damascus Gate & Garden Tomb. The Guest House has unique & peaceful accommodation. Staff courteous helpful & friendly. Would stay there againfree WiFi is a travel bonus.
Our concern with shower cleanliness was immediately addressed.
I wish I could rate this hotel higher...a beautiful building , nice staff, and excellent breakfast were offset by an incredibly noisy room. I have stayed in hotels around the world, and it was beyond a doubt the noisiest room I have ever experienced. Right on a busy road, across the street from a school with loudspeakers blaring starting around 0700. Also, room was very damp, they could put a dehumidifier in the room and solve that problem easily.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful & the location of the guesthouse is excellent. I stayed in room 36 and it was quiet and comfortable with good wifi connectivity and a large kitchenette. The bed was very comfortable and the toiletries were excellent. Breakfast was quite good and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The courtyard of St Georges is really beautiful, especially with the Christmas decorations right now.
The cats were super unfriendly and flatly refused to submit to petting :(
the ambiance of the cathedral; nice helpful staff; big rooms, comfortable bed.
location a bit far from any restaurants. only 2 in the neighborhood that you can walk to. isolated location.
staff, garden, breakfast, atmospheric

the location ,beutifull guardens , beutiful atmosfair ,and beutfull architactior
the buth and rest room need to be renovate
The location is wonderful, just a few blocks from the Damascus Gate. The facility is beautiful, and the garden patio is a wonderful place. Be sure to visit the cathedral -- it is a lovely place of peace. Breakfast was quite good. Our room was unique and delightful -- located in a bell tower of the cathedral (no bells rang during our stay). If we return to Jerusalem, we will definitely return to the guest house.
Rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Location is peaceful, only short walking distance to the Old City. I have stayed at the guesthouse on numerous occasions, and will do so again in the future.
