“ We absolutely loved our stay at St. Thomas Home. Being connected to a Catholic church, you really feel connected to the spirituality of Jerusalem, but no one impresses their views or dress restrictions on you. The staff was amazingly helpful. ”

We absolutely loved our stay at St. Thomas Home. Being connected to a Catholic church, you really feel connected to the spirituality of Jerusalem, but no one impresses their views or dress restrictions on you. The staff was amazingly helpful. The room was clean and the three single beds were perfect for our trio. The location was great for visiting the Old City and the modern city center on Jaffa Street, the Damascus Gate train stop was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We would definitely stay here again on our return to Jerusalem. Nothing!!

Friendly staff, close to the Damascus Gate. A quiet guest house run by the Syriac Catholic Church. A solid breakfast offered in the price.

The location was wonderful; very close to the Damascus gate of the Old City. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very clean and quiet. I loved the fact that there was free, private parking, which is hard to find in the city. I was also pleasantly surprised to find there was in-room wi-fi. The online booking accidentally showed that we could have a maximum of 3 people in one room and one in the other. We only had 3 people total. The management said we had to change it with you to get a price reduction. I changed it online and got no price reduction. I feel like I was "ripped off" a little.

I like very friendly atmosphere that was created by the staff. They were kind and helpful - all of them, and especially Hilda, Sadi and Raphael (if I remember his name correctly - he helped me a lot, when I was leaving). I was very pleased that I was put up in a very quiet room with a good view as I asked for in my booking. The location was perfect for visiting The Old City and close to tram station "Damascus Gate" - so it was easy and quick to get to the city center also. Although there was no fridge in the room, I could use the fridge at the reception. It was also good that free WiFi is available in all areas of the hotel. I enjoyed my stay there. Thank you!

The place had a great cereal, and the staff was friendly (nuns included). The showers were tiny. It was hard to find the hotel.

Good location, easy walk to the old city and the Garden Tomb. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast. Spartan room, with inadequate heating, no tea/coffee making facilities, not even any water glasses. No double rooms, only twins. OK, the "fine print" says twin beds, but two twin beds doesn't make a "double" room as far as I'm concerned.

Catholic run. The room was basic, but clean with plenty of hot water, air conditioner. Secure parking, good buffet breakfast Middle East style, less than 5 min walk to the Damascus Gate, free WiFi. Pickpockets work the neighborhood.

Friendly and helpful staff, good and very clean room and generous breakfast. Great location as a short walk to the Old City Gates and plenty of eatery options nearbye, even on a Sabbat. Good and secure parking in a private compound and can be viewed from a few of the rooms. This is not St Thomas issue, but the location shown on BDC is not correct, nor is Google Maps. The actual location is ( traveling North / uphill ) past the BDC point, past the Garden Tomb, just past St Thomas Monastary ( 20m - which is on the right) there is a small lane on the Left. Take this and the last building on the right at the end of the lane is this St Thomas Home. Parking is through the large gate.

Personeel zeer behulpzaam. Prima, rijk voorzien ontbijt. Geen echte koffie, alleen nescafé, bij ontbijt.

Interesting place, being quite religious. Friendly owner. It appears that some (one) members of the staff are colluding with the taxi-drivers which I found highly negative.
