Location, breakfast & staff friendliness
I guess boutique hotels are not my thing as the price was not cheap but the room and the hotel were cute but not justifying the high price.
location free parking 4 choices-breakfast room aircondition bed towels shower
Lobby next to rooms -plastic lobby couch
Great location, German Colony is a picturesque part of Haifa full of cosy restaurants. Very nice small hotel with comfortable rooms, in room bathroom separated by glass door thus limited privacy. In room price included very good and large ala card breakfast served in the restaurant nextdoors.
very helpful friendly staff. Excellent location with stunning views of Bohai Gardens. easy access and parking. Great breakfast at Fatoush .
The location right in the heart of the German Colony was great, and the included breakfast provided at the next door Fattoush was very good. The rooms are all creatively designed and comfortable, and the prices are fair.
Internet was a little wonky at first, but the friendly and efficient staff were right on it.
Great boutique hotel right in German colony A great pkace
Very friendly staff. Wonderful location. Great breakfast. Good rooms size.
Room a bit noisy. Bed was not great.
Location (great!), staff (very friendly and accommodating), breakfast (very enjoyable) and cleanliness. Exactly in that order.
Room size (postage stamp - postcard, at best), Lack of privacy (glass shower wall toward the work desk. Lack of natural lighting and outright unacceptable blue background illumination. We were glad it could be turned off.
It was an adventurous experience to stay in one of the individually and extraordinary designed (fully equipped) rooms. The restaurant Fattoush, which belongs to the hotel, has a great ambience and good arabic food.
Our room "unicorn" didn't have any windows. Furthermore the design of the room is probably not everybody's cup of tea.
The restaurant fattoush is very beautiful location. Olives threes garden decorated medio oriental. Humus tahine beautiful, service good.
The Sfinge Room is very nice but very noise...is up the kitchen...nice room the unicorn not nice view but quiet and....
Charged extra rooms that did not use
Lives up to its name as a Boutique Hotel. Excellent location and pleasant stay.
Great location. Excellent service. Breakfast was very good
nice little hotel with excellent location very good breakfast beautiful combination of old and new style, nice
Location, room, attitude
Great location, excellent staff
Pricey., the room was fun but small
Breakfast next door at Fatoush was phenomenal. Very good location and excellent wi-fi.
I was very disappointed because I was allocated a room with black walls (which I specifically asked not to be given), there was no natural light, weird blue neon-lighting, found hairs in the bed linen, and could hear other customers returning to the hotel in the middle of the night. the reception staff didn't seem to bother doing anything about it nor did they care. It was deal with it... you'll get used to it. I hear that most of the other rooms are quite nice but this one was terrible and I felt like I was overpaying for a room I was very unhappy with.
Friendly staff, perfect location, absolutely clean
windows on the street front dont block the noise from the restaurant
Amazing staff and atmosphere. Attention to detail and helpfulness. Great place.
Great location and rooms were very chic. Perfect for short vacations
The location is excellent on the main street in Haifa Downtown especially during the week-end it is the only place where everything is open in Haifa with a nice atmosphere, nice bistros and restaurants, Baai Gardens are close, the port as well is a 10 min walk;
The room (Mandala Room) was very very small and not adequate for a couple (15m2); 2 people can hardly move at the same time in the room. The toilets and shower are in the room with a door that wasn't closing properly; In addition it is not really an hotel since there is no lobby or place where you can have a sit there and read a book or work on your laptop or anything else, especially when the room is not big enough; The facility is more like a B&B, spliten between 2 or 3 buildings, and not as an hotel; No hotel bar where to have a coffee/room service too but an adjacent coffee where a good breakfast is served gives an excellent service but is not a place where you can spend some time just as an hotel guest without ordering food/drink; In addition Haifa is place (at least during the week end) where there is not much to do. We were considering staying until late and eventually an additional day but we left quite early on saturday and traveled to another city;
Check in process was very quick. The staff was nice and attentive. the location of the hotel is amazing and they have a big free parking behind the hotel. the shower in the room was large and lit very well. there is a flat screen TV, a kettle, a safe and a minibar. nothing is missing. the decor of the room is modern and nice.
the room was a little small for my taste although it was classified as a superior room. it should be rated as standard room. no elevator but we didn't need one for our small bag (1 overnight).
Location is great, room design is modern and very nice, and staff support is excellent
We booked a room at the Templar for New Year's Eve. It was our first time at the hotel, and the first thing that pleased us was the plentiful parking and easy access to the hotel. Secondly, we were greeted very warmly by the young woman at the front desk. And the loveliest surprise was that they upgraded our room for free! We were in the "Sphynx" which has an amazing view of the Bahai Gardens. On New Year's Eve, we had the best seat in Haifa for the fireworks display on the hillside. Breakfast vouchers for the adjacent "Fatoush" restaurant was also a wonderful way to begin the new year!
The room, while very stylish and modern, is a bit impractical. The bed is a platform bed, and to get in and out of it you have to step onto a very slippery, large platform which we kept having to be careful with!
