There was nothing I didn't like. I have been to this hotel several times before and I would go back again without hesitation. It is my favorite hotel in Jerusalem. The staff are expert and beyond reproach, the facility is an oasis within a busy city, and the accommodation and food are top notch! |

The bed and cleaness of the room, the gardens were also very nice. The service was awful, we have stayed at many upmarket hotels and for the price we expexted better service. We booked dinner but they had no reservation when we arrived, the table was wobbly and we had to ask 4 times for it to be fixed - they didnt even realise we were staying in the hotel and the food was awful. The staff on the front desk were rude and tried to upsell a bigger room for a "good price" - it made the whole experience tacky and we felt we were being pushed. If it was not for the bad service we probably would have stayed a few more days. |

There is immediately a feeling of relaxartion when you enter the hotel. The staff are attentive and the service is excellent . Breakfast and lunch in the courtyard is an exceptional experience . I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel . |

My wife and I liked the first class service.The best hotel I've experienced in the Holy Land! Only one thing. The hotel should have an ATM! Although they are prepared to give one cash from one's Visa card, they will only do it for a 10 per cent commission, which is grossly excessive! There are of course other ATMS in Jerusalem, but we found that many of them were either not functioning properly or would not give more than 400 shekels or were not for use by foreigners. |

Wonderful rooms, service, food. The grounds and buildings absolutely beautiful! We were upgraded to a junior suite at no extra cost. The men loved the cellar bar. I loved the different sitting rooms with the interesting furniture, pictures etc and the book store |

The building and the small patio, the room furniture and the bathroom bring you back to the colonial period in Middle East. Nevertheless service is excellent, staff very kind, everything works fine. Morning breakfast is very rich. |

Loved the decor and surroundings. Gardens beautifully kept. Rooms very nice. Good breakfast. Service at garden cafe was excrutiatingly slow. Lucky we were not in a hurry both the times we sat there. |

The staff, surroundings and breakfast. The room. It was a standard room that I thought was very standard and it did not offer value for money nor did I consider this to be the kind of room I would get at "The American Colony Hotel." Distinctly average! |

The staff were very helpful. The food was amazing, albeit expensive and the ambiance of the downstairs bar/coffee shop was very comfortable. It has a good feel! As with anything in Israel, it is expensive. |
