the door of the bathroon is quite translucent
The location, breakfast, staff and room were all top notch. Highly recommended!
Amazing hotel, the breakfest was apsoluly delicious, everything was excellant!!!
Location personal atmosphere
The staff were so helpful with everything - awesome restaurant recommendations, help with some taxi challenges we had, etc. Location was outstanding, hotel clean and very well maintained. Great atmosphere. We are used to staying in 5 star well known hotels and this did not disappoint.
I know the breakfast is supposed to be outstanding, but I was a bit disappointed with mine.
What stands out most is the truly exceptional food. The chef is clearly gifted, and all meals--the huge included breakfast, lunch, and room service--were remarkable. Taste, quality, and presentation were at the level of the best international restaurants.
room was small but well organized
Deserves its rep as top hotel in T.A. Front-desk staff the best: hospitable, professional, helpful. Owner in lobby when I checked out, introduced himself. Room design sleek, yet warm, enhancing historical nature of the building. Tasty Israeli breakfast, attentive wait staff. (Check weekdays during slow season, as I did, and you may be surprised that your budget will allow you to stay in this special place.)
Faultless hotel in great position. Young, friendly staff. Fantastic breakfasts served stylishly with convenient hours-7am-midday. Divine coffee. Spotlessly clean, good bathroom, comfortable bed, good lighting in room. A calm, soothing oasis in the heart of a bustling city. A treat!
Hotel and room decoration and design are very nice combining modern facility with historic building. Room was very clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom. In spite of staying in a room with a balcony facing the street, we could not hear any sound once the window was closed. Breakfast is on of the niceset around. Hotel staff were very helpful a effective.
Price per night is a little high. Only mini cars can enter the parking. We could not enter with our car, which is not too large. For family-size cars and larger, there is a hotel parking few streets away within 5-minute walking distance.
The hotel has a true boutique charm. Upon entering the hotel you are greeted by a warm, friendly staff who aim to please. We stayed in a 1 bedroom and moved into a studio for the second day since we had a late night flight. That gave us a place to unwind and relax after our day of sightseeing and before leaving for the airport.
There is noting not to like!
Toilet header tank was v noisy and seemed to fill up for ages and ages Limited public area to sit and relax
Everything...all was TOP CLASS
Great location. Very nice staff. Good breakfast.
Staff was friendly. Great location.
Simply overpriced. Stayed at the suite. One of the worse suites I've stayed in and quite expensive.
We stayed 3 nights here and it's a great location to be able to walk to places and if you need anything then the staff are more than willing to help, a nice touch of offering a drink when we arrived was first class.
It is most pronounced that the owners and staff are far more focused on giving world class service than on making or saving a shekel. The value so far exceeds the price that this has become our stopping off point every time our plane lands in Tel Aviv. We have not found a friendlier hotel on five continents. From our first stay, we felt at home. The Lavazza espresso in the room with fresh cream from the kitchen was exquisite.
There is nothing not to like
The staff was incredibly helpful, pleasant, and professional. They immediately respond to any question or request. I stayed here for a week and the service was comparable with the finest hotels in the world. The building and decor (including rooms, restaurant, lobby) were very sleek and fitting of this stylish neighborhood.
I stayed in a room toward the back and it was perfectly quiet. However, my mom's room was on the second floor and faced the front, which meant it was right above Rothschild Blvd, and she reported hearing traffic noise. I advised her to leave music on for a white-noise effect, but she did not try it. If you are a light sleeper and do not like to sleep with the radio on, stay in a room that is either facing the back or is on the third or fourth floor.
Very good WiFi signal. Very clean and pleasant public areas and the room. Helpful staff.
We loved the atmosphere, the smell, the decor, the air-condition, the bath-room, the towels, the location.
Smallish room, breakfast - a little on the modest side - would like some more variey (bread and pastries, spreads) and a little more attention to details: croissant needs to be heated and butter and jam should accompany without asking for it.
location, location, location! excellent food & friendly staff
The Rothschild is a very personal, comfortable place to stay. Nicely decorated with a nice breakfast. Also serving lunch and dinner, which is a good instead of going elsewhere. The employees just could't be more accommodating. The location is perfect for getting out and walking everywhere.
Stayed for 5 nights. Great location, Fantastic food, beautiful decor and the best staff!
The location is great. Hotel is lovely. Walking distance to many cafés, bars, Neve Tzedik (for shopping) and Jaffa. The staff is exceptional - fun, kind and knowledgeable. Breakfast is delicious. I'd go back with my family or friends again. Perfect place!!!
