National Hotel is in one of Jerusalem's busiest shopping districts, a 5 minute drive from Herod's Gate, an entrance into Jerusalem's Old City. Parking and Wi-Fi are both free.
Score from 707 reviews Very good
In the center of Jerusalem, just a 5-minute walk from the Mahane Yehuda Market, the newly-opened Agripas Hotel has spacious rooms with hardwood floors and city views.
Score from 736 reviews Good
This hotel is in central Zion Square, a 15-minute walk from the Old City and a few steps from the market and the Nahalat Shivah pedestrian promenade. Wi-Fi access is free in public areas.

Great staff Great position Clean with a bed and shower and toilet that worked
If I wanted to spend more money more space would have made life more comfortable but Jerusalem is reasonably expensive and with all there is to explore how much time do you want to spend in your hotel room
Helpful & friendly staff. Reasonable price.
Breakfast was ok.
Beds were very old, made a lot of noise lying down on the bed. The rooms and the hotel in general looks really old and run down.
Near to Damascus Gate and to Jerusalem Old City. Near to Est Jerusalem Bus Station and Tramway station in 10 minutes distance. Friendly and helpful staff and manager. Breakfast is 'arabic', but with a lot of different and tasteful mealsjust therefore a good basis for the day.Spacious room and bathroom. For Jerusalem good price-service ratio.
When I book this hotel I did it based on other reviews and believe me, is a perfect choice. It is very but very close to Jerusalem Old City (5 min walk) but still location is very quet. Hotel staff is very helpful and nice. They answered all my annoying questions. WiFi is good though i didn't spend too much time in the hotel. Public transport is very close. If you need to get to cities around bus station is at some 12 min walk. Breakfast was good and for different tastes. I will definitely stay there again. Good quality and price.
Great location and sufficient.
Too expensive for what you get.
Close to the old city, friendly staff.
Old everything. In a not so clean neighborhood.
Terrible hotel. old and simple. i wonder how it will be 3 stars. The breakfast sucks.
Very helpful staff, organised laundry for us, told us where to get buses, etc.
Instant coffee for breakfast.
Good and hearty breakfast. Super location. Helpful and friendly staff.
Close to Herod's Gate.
The breakfast is basic at best. There was not enough Bread for everyone at breakfast, so we had to wait, after which the staff just put a plastic bag on the buffet... the only coffee you get is instant. The rooms as a whole seem pretty run down. The shower is part of a bath that is strangely stepped, so you could probably sit inside. But if you want to stand it's a chore at best, dangerous at worst.
Nothing is really good about the hotel, except maybe price. It is very old with poor cleanliness and dirty facilities. The breakfast was not good and the hotel is in the East of Jerusalem right in the heart of Arab community. It is intimidating to walk out in the evening in the area. I would stay away from staying there for the future visits. Not recommended.
Nothing, but the price.
The hotel has awful location in Arab community. Would not recommend to anyone who likes to walk out in the evening. The hotel is very old with poor cleanliness and old facilities. The bathroom was not a place to have a shower.
All the rest
Position near the Damasco Gate. Good quality-price ratio.
Very nice location, nearby the old city.
Breakfast not so clean. Things are long time out of the fridgerator. Wifi less working in the rooms.
Good breakfest, place is tucked, in arab's quarter, but silent. Parking is near, shops and good@cheap restaurant s too. Bathroom is bizare. WiFi connection in room is Bad, we must go to hall for connection.
Feeling of Distance from damascus gate is longest than hotel says on web.
The staff was welcoming and its near jerusalem old city
The hotel area is quite sacary, would not recomended to women travelers as we were. Wifi never worked and the bathroom was dirty and disgusting. The hotel is extremely over prized for what it is.
Cheap, clean and comfy room. Helpful staff. Close to Damascus Gate so convenient to visit the old city.
Location was close to Old City but is dead after sunset so not much to do around (beware that the map of the hotel website is not right. This hotel is next to Damascus Gate). Wifi not working. Breakfast was included but was nothing special.
Personal is extremely friendly and nice. Clean rooms and acceptable price.
Location is not so good and it can be very noisy outside.
It is a value-added hotel with nice location, near to the old city and a lot of restaurants nearby. Comparing to the price of other hotels, it is worthy
a little bit difficult to find when you arrive
Very little integration with and options to mingle with fellow solo travelers along with other small groups. Suitable for large touring groups who are on tailored packages
Very gut staf, gut breakfast, only 5 min Herodius gate, around a lot of cheap shops
Liked how close the hotel is to the old City and bus stations. Both girls at front desk were very helpful when asked for directions. Kitchen staff were polite and attentive.
Only two towels and not a hand towel. Food could be better, always the same. Beds could use an extra mattress. I will visit Jerusalem again next yr. and will be renting a car. The parking lot is very small and difficult to get in and out, Hotel should work out and arrangement whit parking lot at end of street and maybe charge minimum for rental space to guests with cars. asked for a wake up called that never came...
Staff were great
Facility a bit run down, but fine for the price / location.
