YMCA Three Arches Hotel

An excellent location in the very center of Jerusalem, and the concert hall for the Jerusalem Chamber Music Festival is on-site!

An old hotel like this needs tasteful renovation - not necessarily to become osteentatious, but clean and modern rather than drab and dingy would be fine. The operators should look at the simple white stone rooms at Mishkonot Sheananim to see how ancient rooms can become simple elegance.

Great Location...just down road from Mamila street and from there to Jaffo Gate into Old City of Jerusalem. I booked this last minute for $125. I was on my own but was still given a double bed plus a single bed in the room so would be good value for people travelling together but steep for single price considering the quality.

Hotel facade is very impressive but rooms are very old fashioned...mine had a dodgy toilet handle and door that didn't lock easily. Also the toothbrush glass was not clean and the safe was broken. Shower and bath were fine and the bed clean and comfortable. I didn't have breakfast but it looked good from the lobby- Israel is very big on breakfasts. Overall this place was suitable as a last minute choice, and probably cheaper than most other options but upgrading is needed and don't expect luxury.

Room facilities are not up to standard. Interior design and condition is a bit run down. Television set is not in good condition. Carpet is old.

The location couldn't be better, for walking to the Old City and downtown west Jerusalem. The building is still as handsome as ever, But poorly maintained. I enjoyed being amongst the international clientele and speaking with them .

Since I last stayed there in the 1990's, the maintenance and service at this hotel has deterioprated considerably. The staff isless than minimal, Mostly nonprofessional, and ridiculously unco-ordinated. However, most of them are very nice people, trying to do their best for the guests. I wish the Dan Corporation had taken over this splendid building. They would have done a much better job, even if they had to raise the rates.

Very good location to visit the old city and West Jerusalem. Very nice building. Anyway staff, service & infrastructures are definitely getting worse compared with only few years ago !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Light bulb of the lamp near the bed dead, faulty lock of the door ! Staff working in the room the day of my leaving at 9,30 a.m. when the check-out time was scheduled at 11,00 a. m. If Ymca goes on this way, the glorious YMCA 3 Arches of Jerusalem....That's not really good ! Much money, too much money : what's increasing is only their price !

the room was not cleaned well: found remains of food and medical pills near the bed... felt bad... other than that - no complaints.
