the location is great, the staff friendly and chatty. The overall quality price is unbeatable really.

Ideal site. Beautiful streets and quarters around. To the old city of 10 minutes walk, and as much to beautiful respectable and business areas. Very conveniently

The location. Its very central and the tram station is 50 meters.

The staff was very rude. There is no elevator but the hotel has 4 floors and anyone help with the bags. The room smells terrível and the sheets in the bed were dirty. The breakfast was terrible. The bread looks as come from the garbage.

the location was very good - the center of Jerusalem, walking distance from the old city, market Ben-Yehuda.

we had ordered the room for 8 nights and on the sixth night we were asked to move to different room and again on the seventh night!! this is outrageous!! also, during our all visit there wasn't any cleaning of the room. the breakfast was poor and all the same for 9 days... the eating tables were never cleaned after breakfast and the noise outside the room was terrible even during the late night hours. would not recommend this hotel to no one, doesn't worth the money.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, very close to the old city, approx. 5 minutes to walk, good and save place to stay, sometimes a bit vivid but therfore shops and restaurants around.

It was very very dirty. The bedding and towels is bad, old and very simple. Aircon did not work. There is no care going into the place.

The location is excellent, on the lively Ben Yehuda street and ten minutes walk from the old city. Very warm and welcoming.

The breakfast was very poor, and the bedding wasn't clean enough.

Location is perfect, staff extremely helpfull and friendly, rooms decent and adequate. A very good price-quality ratio. I would (and will) stay here again!

The hotel could use a fix up here and there. But everything works and it's clean and affordable!

Really liked this hotel. Booked it last minute, and found it really comfortable. We were a bit worried it would be noisy based on the location (had been at another hotel in nearby area before that was very noisy), but had no trouble with that when there. Staff were also extremely helpful and friendly, including recommending a great local falafel joint. Great location with an easy walk to the Old City.

Not a major issue, but would have been nice if it had a kitchen for guests. That said, they offered breakfast and cheap food recommendations.

Was raining lots and when I showerd up.. The front door was locked,,waited 20 mins until astore worker from across the street called them on his cell ,,to let me in

The hotel has very good position, only 10 minutes walk from the Old city, at very nice pedestrians street with many nice restaraunts, shops, and nice to walk at. Good quality of service and friendly people who work there

The location is ideal for a tour of the old City. It is within waling distane of the religious sites and convenient for shopping areond in jerusalem. Breakfast was good. It requires a bit of walking from the taxi stop because it is located within a pedestrian area.

You have to walk with your luggage to the nearest taxi stop, because it is within a pedestria area, not too far though. We had a lot of luggage so we made trips.

I did not like the hotel, room was normal size but the furniture was horrable except the new flat TV

The location was excellent - right in the heart of Jerusalem - The first room we were given was awful - after travelling for hours( from England) we were put in a dirty room with a shower that did little more than drip - a tv that didnt work and towels that were torn and not too clean. There was no room service no one made our beds the bins werent emptied and the towels not replaced. Worse than that the evening receptionist was sleazy and for two ladies travelling on their own it was a bit off puttings. Breakfast was hit and miss some morings there were scrambled eggs but not always depending on who was on duty. I would not recomend this place to my worst enemy.

From the moment I checked in at Zion Hotel it was a total disaster, my room was in third floor...the hotel doesn't have elevator and I have to carry my laggage all the way by myself. The room was too small and the bath room was dirty and stincky.

I didn't like anything about Zion Hotel. Staying at this hotel stole my long awaited fan in Jerusalem. Of course I enjoyed Jerusalem it is a fantastic place to be, but the hotel charged my credit card multiple times to the point I can not use my credit card anywhere else. I asked the front desk to refund me and correct the mistakes (at first I thought it was not intentional, but after failing to correct it even after 10 days and nobody came forward to appologize I concluded it was their way of making money out of inocent tourists) but to no avail. I asked to speak with the owner or some one in charge, I was told he left for Greece. Imagine someone messing up your vacation, do not make the mistake I made...better pay more and have peace of mind.

The location was an exccellent compromise between the Old City and the bus station just off the train/tram route and, considering this, the price was very good and, as such, we didn't expect too much. We found most of the staff to be friendly and helpful and the room was adequate. The wet-room shower doesn't flood the floor if you don't turn it on full and there's a squeegee provided to sweep the water away. The reception is in the first floor (2nd if you're American) and there's no lift but there's only one more floor so not too far up to drag cases, if you're relatively fit (which we aren't!). The hotel is surrounded by shops, cafes & restaurants, so there's a really buzzing atmosphere.

Although there was noise at night from the restaurants & cafes, it wasn't a problem beause it's at a constant level, so didn't stop us getting to sleep. However, because the area is pedestrianised, all the deliveries have to take place early in the morning, 6.30am at least, and that did disturb us! Not a problem if you're a very early riser, but some double glazing wouldn't go amiss. No chair or deskop in our room.
