In the center of Jerusalem, just a 5-minute walk from the Mahane Yehuda Market, the newly-opened Agripas Hotel has spacious rooms with hardwood floors and city views.
Score from 740 reviews Good
A location full of pedestrianised streets with shops, cafes etc. Good omelette for breakfast.
Two key points - The hotel rooms are in need of renovation. And the noise - you cannot get to sleep before about 2.30/3.00 am. It is a difficult problem. The rooms are extremely noisy due to the nightlife immediately outside.
+ very nice staff + good localisation (the best for this price) + very good breakfast (local food)
- no wifi acess at the third floor - our fridge used to freeze everything in stead of cooling
The windows on the room barely close which makes it hard to sleep with the noise coming from the pubs and restaurants below.
Easy to get to and to find. Very central off Ben Yehuda street right between old city and market. Small rooms but have air conditioning and wifi plus breakfast. Amazingly reasonable prices.
Couldn't access wifi from my bedroom and it was too late to ask staff for help. Wish parking was free but the hotel was so inexpensive that I can't expect free parking too.
Lovely street view outside the little balcony; One of the best locations to live in outside the old city; Satisfactory breakfast (They have Omelettes!)
Can get noisy at late night; Bathroom was small
good location breakfast
No elevator to many steps
Great location in the city center; on a pedestrian-only street with lots of food and shopping options. Tram is literally a 1 minute walk. Old City is about 10-15 minutes depending on your pace. We were a group of 10 total with mixed aged children (5 adults, 5 kids 9-16 yrs old). The kids enjoyed the lobby area. Free computer use and free wi-fi throughout. The lobby was very comfortable with sofas and seating -- enjoyable to congregate after sightseeing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and basic. Ours opened onto the street which I loved!
Good location near many restaurants and within walking distance of the old town. Breakfast was nice and some of the staff were quite helpful.
Room decor is a bit rundown. Can be quite noisy from the street.
There were bugs Not super shabbat friendly
wifi does not work on the second floor, only in the lobby area
Location couldnot be better. One of the best restaurants in day/nighttime you find from same square. Breakfast was have lots of sallad and protein. Builthing and reception staff are nice.
Big daytime construction work in builthing under some room's windows.
Localization, style, comfort
Air conditioning, level of noise inside the room
location and staff. Good and clean towels every day. The bed was good. A lot of nice places in the area and I felt 'save' in the area. Tram around the corner; but walking to the old city is no problem either.
some extra cleaning of the floors would make a difference.
Excellent location and reasonable price
Rooms quite small
friendly and helpful staff
brilliant location but a little bit toooo noisy ;)
Free cold water, tea or coffee all the day. The high street next to the hotel.
WiFi only in the lobby (we stayed in the 3rd floor). No parking possibilities. Simple breakfast. Room equipment old, repairs needed.
Close proximity to old city, bars, restaurants, and a straight shot down Jaffa rd to bus station. The place had such a quaint feel, staff friendly and helpful.. loved the room; could open windows and listen to the sounds of the city. There was a fridge (huge plus!). Lots of 'higher-end' hotels don't even provide refrigerators in the rooms for guests. Definitely would stay here again.
This is a charming old world budget hotel in an excellent location. It's not fancy and the nightlife may disturb some travelers. Good for a short stay of a night or two. I liked the friendly staff, free WiFi, and access to a computer in the lobby. The hotel has character!
They could clear out the mattresses in the hallway.
A very nice, clean and comfortable room in the very touristic center of Jerusalem. A staff kind and helpful and a generous breakfast. All of that for a price more than reasonable.
Because it's in the center, it is VERY noisy at night until 3 or 4am. For some reason, the room hasn't been cleaned on the day before I left
the location is excellent, staff speaks very good English and the breakfast was substantial, however a little bit monotonous after 3 days
the room looked at the ventilating shaft in the backyard, therefore it was a little bit noisy during the night. The backyard was full of garbage, therefore the view from the window was not too nice
I really liked the location for the price and the included breakfast. The staff was very helpful. Will definitely go there again.
The staff were very helpful. The breakfast is great. They make eggs to order.
They are building next door so can be a bit noisy during the day. Rooms are basis but adequate.
the kindness of the staff, they were helpfull
