Very helpful English speaking staff. Good food. Well run hotel. Very good location. Good value.
Shower curtain didn't stop all water going on floor. Sealant around basin pedestal. I think the basin was cracked. Beds stacked up in main eating area.
Breakfast was awful
Friendly staff with good knowledge of the city, restaurants and public transport Free tea, milk, coffee, water and hot chocolate Okay breakfast Good location - old city can be reached easily (+/- 10 min) and Jaffa road is 1 minute
Rooms a bit tired looking
Service excellence! Hospitality and friendly staff. Great breakfast, value for money and location. Clean. Staff always willing to help with heavy luggage & information. Home away from home.
This small hotel is close to a Jerusalem Light Rail (JLR) stop and in the centre of the 'party' or student quarter and the noise from the many restaurants didn't settle until after 2am. The staff were very friendly and helpful without being pushy. They are obviously well used to ill-informed travellers! Endless supply of cold drinking water is useful.
Decor is dated and carpets need replaced. Pillows felt worn out but bed v sturdy.
The location, helpful and cooperative stuff with very good advices were to go and do.a very good breakfast for a 2 stars hotel.
A little noisy from the street at night
The hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable. Hot and cold drinks available in the foyer through the day and evening and comfy chairs available to sit and chat to the other guests. There is also WiFi and fridge facilities in the room.
Very close to light rail - Central Jaffa stop - 10 min walking distance from Old City Jaffa Gate, lots of different shops & restaurants, breakfast excellent variety & choice, tea, coffee & hot chocolate available from lobby 24 hours.
Quite noisy until early hours of morning on the Friday before Shabbat from music and people at the restaurants below. WiFi only in the lobby & not very strong. Cockroaches behind fridge but management sprayed after we reported it.
Central location, good hall with divans and nice interrior (19th-early 20th century style), no complaints regarding cleannes and interior of the room. Overall very good price for central Jerusalem
Small rooms (I suppose - typical for Jerusalem), high audibility of corridor.
Location is in the center of nightlife scene, about 10 minutes walk to the old city. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Pretty ok breakfast (humus, salad, bread, olives, cheese, tuna) but coffee was tasteless.
Hotel is really old and rundown. It's neighbors are restaurants and bars with nonstop noise from drunk teens until 5am then workers preparing the outdoor gazebos immediately thereafter. Bed is hard and pillows are too thin.
The location : easy to visit Jerusalem, new and old, on foot or by public transport. Lots of life day and night. Within walking distance of Mahane Yehuda market. Very friendly and extremely helpful staff! We were very grateful for all the tips and help with our bookings.
The central location obviously means thst it gets very noisy at night.
Location Breakfast Free internet price
atmosphere of the socializing sound of People outside the hotel the hotel disk very friendly People than outside we meet on the streets.
the breakfast food always the same and room service or the cleaner always forget to leave us some soap and towels we need. we always ask for it but its ok or everything just fine
very central (two streets from Zion square), great facilities, staff very friendly and helpful, good breakfast, rooms with standard facilities, balcony, very clean, wifi of acceptable to good speed available in (as far as I know) all areas.
construction site next to the hotel (likely to disrupt your sleep from early in the morning on), we were first wssigned an uncleaned room but this was quickly resolved by the very friendly staff, to get in you have to ring the doorbell and especially in the evenings it might take a couple of minutes until someone answers.
Excellent staff, amenities, location, value for money. Very comfortable and quiet, the hotel is also spotless.
Excellent location close to the old city + right near one of the only restaurants open on shabbat and holidays. Helpfull and friendly staff.
A bit noisy as located in a street full of restaurants. Breakfast was the same every day. The room was cleaned only after the first day.
Location is brilliant. Right in middle of the jewish quarter. Its a very basic hotel but the staff are so helpful.. Very pleasant staff.. if you want directions or information they are always pleased to help.so if ur wanted a very basic clean hotel in great surroundings and very cheap this is hotel for you. You also get breakfast for the price.. Weve been back 3 years in a row and will be back next year for a week..
Would like tea and coffee in room. But we found it no problem bringing it from dining room. They have endless supply of tea and coffee there. Apart from that nothing..

Excellent and helpful staff for the English speakers Good breakfast Conveniently located in pedestrian mall An older building, full of charm and grace.
Construction/demolition next door which should be completed soon and only an issue during the day
great breakfast, good location, clean
a lot of restautant arround, not quite good for sleep
just between Yaffa Street and Ben Yehuda street, many shops and restaurants, also close to the old city as well as Mahane Yehuda Market; great, friendly, helpful personnel; breakfast was good
