noise from the building next door of new hotel- and bathroom rail for shower kept falling. Just did not like all the steps...and carpet could have been replaced as the walls and windows so lovely
home from home and welcoming staff
April 28, 2015
Small room on first floor no windows
Nice location good distance to beach and all other places
April 28, 2015
Old furniture, broken closets, uncared bathroom. Everything had an old look.
Location is about 1 Km (15 min walk) from Jaffa Gate and same distance to bazar. It is placed on a Pietonal Street on which only the tram runs (there's a station at 150 m). Good WiFi connection. Coffee/Tea/Hot chocolate/Water available all day long. Pleasing breakfast.
April 27, 2015
No elevators so lugging heavy suitcases is difficult. To be fair, the building is older.
Super location, close to everything. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

The staff and the location.
April 18, 2015
the staff - world's friendliest !
April 18, 2015
Very good location, great breakfast, nice people
April 17, 2015
wifi not available in some of the rooms
Room was clean, very nice breakfast included in the price

No fault of the hotel, but there was street work going on and it really was noisy. At night, there seemed always to be a drunk outside, howling away. So, I think they should offer a white noise channel on the TV or something.
The staff was very friendly. The hotel is near a fantastic restaurant called Focaccia, fresh bread and pastas made on premises . . . delicious. In the other direction, 200 meters to the tramway.

I had a little trouble with the TV but the staff was able to fix it.
The location to the night life off Jaffa Street was perfect. Walking distance to the Old City wasn't too bad.
April 9, 2015
the staff was very frinedly
April 5, 2015
Great atmosphere, the friendliest staff, super-clean and the best Israeli breakfast we have ever tasted. We will certainly recommend it to all who want to visit Jerusalem.

Hotel interior and bedroom very tired and in need of refurbishment.
Great location. Good breakfast included. Value for money

The room was very small but for this price I think it is OK. There is no hair drier in the room. The area of the hotel is a bit noisy at night (there are many bars around).
It's very near the old town (so for visiting Jerusalem the location of the hotel is perfect) and the central station is about 20 min far (walking distance). We took the bus at the central station to go to the Dead Sea (Masada) and also to go to Tel-Aviv. To Tel-Aviv there is also a mini bus near the hotel, it takes you to Tel-Aviv for 24 shekels. The breakfast is really good, and there is free water to drink, free tea and coffee (although nescafé is not the best but it's better than nothing). At the reception they are really kind.

The entrance is hard to find the first time visiting. Not used to going into a hotel around the back of the building. After finding the door the first time it was no problem. It is not clearly marked as an entrance as you would expect a business to have. No extra signs pointing you in the right direction to the hotel lobby.
Shopping is all real close, the Old City is only 10 - 15 minute walk from the hotel, Mahane Yehuda Market is short walk up the street, loved the night life out side the hotel in the evenings, alot of fantastic eateries of every sort, we stayed 4 nights and will definitely stay there again next time we are in Jerusalem. We did not expect a 4 star hotel for the price we paid. We were happy with the price we paid and saved $100.00 per night staying here instead of the 4 star hotel up the street. We are very happy and plan on comming back soon.

very noisy area, lots of construction. Rooms need more decor more color. The rooms need new locks and a safe...
the fact that we had access to everything on foot. No cars all closed streets. Great location
March 23, 2015
Friendly staff, good location, 10 min walk from the Old city, great value for money, recommended.
March 17, 2015
I would not call it a bad experience, but you will hear the loud music from the restaurant nearby until about 11pm, noise from the young crowds until 1am. But we were so tired by the end of the day, that the noise did not bother us.
The hotel is walking distance from the old town. Affordable, clean, very helpful staff. Breakfast is included - a huge plus. Beds are comfortable. Shower, toilet, TV - all in working order.

Corridors a little grubby
Location and helpful receptionists
March 17, 2015
Just one thing, the noise outside, but that's due to the location in the center. You could take earplugs with you ; )
In the center of Jerusalem next to the Ben Yehuda street this nice hotel in a pedestrian area. We were there for 4 nights. Very nice staff, they help you with everything. We had a room next to the reception (105) and the free wifi worked there too. The breakfast was fine, plenty of choice. Tea and coffee all day for free. The decor was a bit dated but you don't pay Hilton prices there. Very close to the lightrail. Just a short walk (1 km) to the old city.
March 15, 2015
We paid extra for a balcony but couldn't use it as the seats were wet due to the fabric seating. They need to be replaced with waterproof chairs.
March 9, 2015
it was very loud, music in the night and very loud working in the street from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; breakfast was simple and every day the same, not really Israelian ;-) no parking area
central, nice people, nice rooms
March 8, 2015
The atmosphere was not so good
March 8, 2015
No elevator and no offer for help on welcome and checkout.
March 7, 2015
