The Palatin Hotel Jerusalem features air-conditioned rooms, and free coffee and tea. In Jerusalem's shopping district, it is near Mahane Yehuda market and Ben Yehuda Street.

In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.
Score from 1373 reviews Good
Its location near Kikkar Zion is ideal, the Old City is in walking distance, and there are plenty of bars, resaurants around. The breakfast is really nice. Great value for your money -considering that israel in general is not cheap at all.
I liked the street where the hotel is. Localization is the only positive point. Although, if you have bags, forget it! There is no one to help you with them. Your car/taxi can not go to the door and you have to carry and pull everything by yourself. So I would not recommend this place. Breakfast is reasonable. You can find better places for the same price.
I arrived during shabat (Friday night) and could not find the address. I parked the car on the street recommended in the site (Booking) and called reception. The guy on the phone kept laughing at me because I was lost. He did not help me at all. He refused to help with the bags and could not stop laughing as if he was drunk or high on drugs. I could not believe it was happening! If you do not have a descent person to work during shabat, close the place. Besides, the place looks old, rundown, the sheets and towels are old and torn. All the furniture is damage and old and the remodelings around the building are very noisy.
This is very much Jerusalem - very nice hotel! 10 minutel walk to Old City and good and not expensive restaurant at ground floor!
Free coffee and cold water all the time in "Fellini-lika" lobby.
The heating system (AC) was not working very well (it was cold outside). Once the warm water wasn't very warm in the bathroom. - Anyways, worth money and will visit again.
A személyzet kedvessége. The kindness of the staff.
Climate compressor on the superior room's balcony.
Very good location in the city center, close to the Old City, attractions, etc. Good staff, tea/coffee 24/7 for free on reception.
Poor Wi-Fi in the room. May be a bit noisy at night.
Rumours in the street, poor, old.
The hotel was wonderful. It is very well located, in a quiet street and really close to the tram stops that go to the main bus station. The Old City is close, only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There are many shops and restaurants nearby, as well as grocery stores in case you want to buy water or other treats (there's a fridge in each hotel room). The staff is very helpful, there's a desk 24/7, and in case you don't speak Hebrew, they speak English very well. There's a nice lobby when you can rest, with comfortable couches, as well as a computer in free access. Also, the WiFi signal from the lobby is very good so you can just come and chill out there while browsing the Internet. The next time I come to Jerusalem, I will definitely stay in this hotel again!
Staff is extremely friendly and happy to accommodate as best as they can. Hotel location is ideal, easy walk to the old city, shopping and dining are steps away, and easy access to mass transit.
The bathroom need serious upgrading. The windows are very thin, so extrior noise penetrates the room easily. Locks on the door are not very secured.
Near to Old Jerusalem, good transport connection with bus station, a lot places to visit.
value for money, location, breakfast
no elevator, WiFi is not accessible from the room
noise from outside. aircondition not working
very friendly helpful staff
nothing not to like can be a bit noisy but what do expect in a lively city center hotel
location is undeniably excellent, and I would stay here again just for this. Walking distance to the old city, located in the heart of pubs and restaurants, right next to a tram stop. Staff are nice, beds are comfortable.
The toilet did not work in our room. The staff just told us we'd have to manage without a flushing toilet, and offered no alternative to use. Only when we argued were we given keys to a separate room to use the toilet. No-one checked our toilet, so I guess they knew there was a problem before giving us the room. The shower did not work well.
You shd know there are 3 flights of stairs as there is no elevator. There is also a strict no cancellation policy. The hotel is very old and rooms are sub standard. Pillows, bed are below standard. The staff tries and breakfast is fine.
The place is relatively central. The room was clean.
Housekeeping made the bed once during the multi-day stay, and took all the towels and soap. We were also almost out of toilet paper when housekeeping had been in the room. When I complained about the lack of towels, soap, and toilet paper, the front desk person suggested that as guests, we were at fault. Finding the place was a challenge because it is located on a shorr pedestrian only side street that most locals have never heard of. Room was stuffy. Unfortunately, there is no mosquito screen over the window, so lots of mosquitoes.
- perfect location; - great stuff; - delicious breakfast (you can ask for eggs); - free water and coffee 24/7; - non-stop open food shop close to the hotel - very important on Shabat :)
-central location(15-10 mins from the old city) -breakfast included -free maps -english speaking stuff -the cheapest hotel in the centre
-small bed for 2 people -no parking
5 min walk to the tram stop (for the Central bus station). 5 min walk to the sherut (small buses 24/7) to Tel-Aviv. 15 min walk to Old City.
The staff were very helpful and english speaking therefore no language barrier. The room was clean. The breakfast was excellent. Facilities of Wi-Fi and free internet was amazing. Free hot drinks 24/7. Lots of food outlet and shops close to the hotel. Will go back to the same hotel again. Will recommend to my friends. Value for money.
The only draw back is no lifts therefore may be difficult with luggage, but the staff did carry the luggage down for me.
Really the best Central location i could ask for. Low cost. Helpful and pleasant staff.
Outside noise very loud from 9pm until early hours. Noise again from local businesses setting up for the day at 06:30. Not good if you are staying more than a couple of days. We lost a few mornings holiday catching up on sleep. Very badly fitting single glazed windows the reason.
Good location, friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast and free coffee, tea and water all day. Reasonable price.
Problems with parking. Street was very noisy at night and wasn´t possible to shut the balcony door. Carpets in the hotel are dirty. Room needs repairs.
