The hotel was very fairly close to the train station and the Jetty, which was my main reason for choosing it. The staff were friendly and polite, always trying to help. Not all of them spoke english though. The air conditioning is so loud, it's impossible to sleep. As I was short of time, I decided to eat in their restaurant downstairs, half of the items on the menu were unavailable, so had to settle for one of the things they had, and the meal was not very good. I requested they arrange a taxi @4AM and was quoted a 850INR price which I went ahead with. When I checked with other companies at the airport, I found out the average price for transfer is 500INR. You should also be aware the price quoted on booking.com is excl a whole bunch of taxes, so you will end up paying more in total.

Convenient location Rather casual attitude to bookings... We booked and confirmed twin non- ac room, which doesn't exist at this hotel. Gave our prebooked room to another guest and tried to give us another room at higher price. Food not great.
