Everything! We booked this hotel after being recommended to by a colleague. We booked for 3 nights as we were on a budget, but it was the best money we spent. The price we paid was a bargain for what the Alila Diwa Goa offers. It is absolutely stunning, very relaxing, beautifully landscaped with amazing food, staff and facilities. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to absolutely everyone. You would pay the price of this hotel in the UK for a budget Holiday Inn.

Massive rooms with luxury bathroom - really felt pampered Choice of eating establishments, and all good food at reasonable prices. Close to airport, but no disturbance from air traffic; you feel you've completely escaped. Friendly staff, especially in the bar and at reception. Lots of facilities and things to do, e.g. free shuttle to beach, leisure concierge to help plan your days... Large swimming pool with spectacular views across surrounding countryside. Nothing - it was idyllic! (I would just add that I went out of season, so it was half-empty; not sure if it would be the same when absolutely packed!)

great ambiance, fantastic welcome . had a great room with a garden overlooking the coconut grove. Spa facilities are excellent and very reasonable for the quality they offer. I was not able to enjoy the breakfast (the food was great and quality was good) because the staff there kept talking loudly, almost shouting. they did not respect the fact that they should be speaking quietly and not disturbing the guests. I had 3 mornings there and I ended up getting very angry after every breakfast as i could not relax and enjoy the nice greenery and could not enjoy the birds chirping around. It was frustrating to hear their clatter.

Seems like nice part of Goa. Quite village. Too much hype and not really worth so much money.

The green and beautiful setting and proximity to the beach, infinity pool looking out over the paddy fields, spacious rooms with a modern yet Indian design, and the beautiful spa with exquisite treatments. The uncoordinated and slow service at the restaurants despite the large numbers of staff (E.G. drinks arriving long after the dinner was served), the poor attention to detail (E.G. filtered water served at restaurant and also at the spa which is a no-no with international guests). The staff clearly needs training to turn this into a 5-star luxury experience which it clearly has the potential to be.

'Quiet and friendly atmosphere The location, no nearby alternative dining possibilities unless you used a taxi. It was a self contained resort, not big enough to have many restaurants. They had 3, and with a long stay this is not enough.

It's an amazingly rejuvenating hotel ! Feels like a forest getaway !! Soothing to the senses & Differently Designed ! The buggle service to the Majorda beach makes for easy access ! The hotel pool facing the paddy fields ensures a panoramic view ! The hotel is so spacious and rightly lit in the evenings....tht it entirely uplifts the look ! To top it all....one of Goa's finest Restaurent .."Martin's Corner" is a stone's throw away frm the hotel !

Clean, quiet nice friendly staff. Quite expensive for Goa but room was huge views gorgeous. Food excellent Location is not brilliant for beach but run a shuttle. For those who like partying venture further south. Became a bit crowded at weekend as it is a wedding venue. But we were leaving then so didn't matter.

Alila Diwa Goa is a beautiful hotel complex in a very nice setting. Beach is within walking distance, but hotel also provides shuttle bus. Hotel also has nice pool area. Nightlife rather quiet. Rooms are spacious, very clean and nicely laid out and furnished. Hotel staff is very friendly and accomodating. They were very helpful in helping to organize day trips and sightseeing tours. Had dinner in Spice Restaurant and enjoyed it very much. Also, some outside restaurants to be tried out within walking distance (Martin's corner). Breakfast buffet with great selection and variety of food. I had a very enjoyable break in Goa and at the Alila Diwa Goa.

We have stayed there for an Indian wedding which was perfect! Later we went back because during low season this appeared to be the best option. Staff was excellent and very kind, helpfull. The pool is amazing. The rooms are perfect. Normally we always choose boutique hotels over big ones but this doesn't feel like a big chain hotel. Food was great! Walking distance to martins corner for some great seafood. The wifi is not always good. On a laptop almost everywhere but on mobile phone mostly in the lobby. Rooms have bad signal. Hotel transport is very expensive. Better to be booked across the street.

We have traveled a lot around the world , and specially in Goa i have been 15 times , but Alila truly stands for its Sanskrit connotation of "surprise" a perfect weekend get away trip. Alila by far is one of our best destinations that we would recommend to all :) cheers !! that the bar shuts too early :P

Beautiful hotel, went there as I have stayed at Alila Diwa, Ubud and loved that place . It is most romantic but the staff can learn a thing or two from the staff at Radisson Blu, Mobor. Probably, the staff is over worked and the guest are many. But , most of them , look like they are forced to work and don't have a smile on their face , when you bump into them . Oh, there were a few , who were very good at the restaurant and reception but can't remember the names...

The Alila Diwa is fantastic. The level of service and the facilities are 1st class. It;s not on the beach but there is a buggy to take you there if you can't face the 5 minute walk. Food was excellent but if you fancy going out you must try Martins Corner, about 10 minutes from the front gates. As for the Alila Diwa itseld it's hard to find fault. Ok the free Wi Fi dropped a couple of times for a minute or two but other than that it was perfect. A level of luxury and service that was almost embarasing to enjoy.

The customer service was very high, very freindly staff and helpful, very clean resort. I booked for a week and I stayed for 3 or 4 nights, since I had to leave for some personal reasons, I didnt like the idea that I was charged for 6 nights although I have infomed almost more than 24 hours before that I will check out earlier. this is not a complaint, but that has spoiled my enjoyment - yes i got one day paid back but that was after number of calls with the concern people over there. i felt that the hotel forced me to pay more than what i am suppose to pay. other than that incident, my stay was comfortable

Alila was very quiet lovely Hotel . Good place for relaxing . Very clean well kept area with friendly staffs . Very nice Pool . Green area It's more like you are living inside a garden . Very far from City , Not much happening there or nearby .Almost 1.5 hour driver to reach to City . Hotel Taxi charges very expensive fee for drive & no other option . Hotel offers very good rate per night but you have to spend whole moeny on Taxi . Alia is very nice place & recommended to travelers who are not willing to spend time out . Unfotunately not much entertainment in Hotel they provide .

- I liked Spa - Kids club staff - the design of this resort is pretending - Location - this is far from the beach, and view isn't attractive (farmers fields with poor farmers on during we are trying to relax around swimmingpool) - AC in room, one of them was broken another one was very noisy, hard to sleep or to hear TV - Staff - I was saying about broken AC in our room for two days, first day receptionist sent an "engineer" to our room, there was done northing with out any feedback to us, second day I turned my self back to the front desk to ask what are they going to do, and got again "we'll send an engineer", we were going to leave Alila, when we got an offer relocate to another room, that was our third day. - Room service - we were need to remind about everything, refill minibar, to bring toilet paper, to bring bed for children - Dining - expensive - Drinks - expensive - Bar service in a pool area - we were need to remind every time to refill our drinks - Reception - to slow, there were dosen people who couldn't make an decision, they need to "ask manager"

The staff is very helpful and smiling. The guests phone service quick and efficient. Small things to be improved: 1. The breakfast tables have to wide spaces between the bars and thus causes to the knifes and forks fall down. 2. The restaurants of the hotel are overpriced.
