Food is just average. Despite of the high price, the rooms could be more confortable and better maintained.
Good location, beautiful haveli, very nice decorated rooms and place. It is a quiet spot very close to the Pink city.
Can't reall think of anything!
The lovely surprise of the beautiful grounds, pool and the Haveli itself when you first enter. A true oasis in the hectic, crazy noise, traffic and crowds that one is met with in all big cities in India.
Incredible dining room
It was dirty. The window sills hadn't been dusted in an age. The room wasn't cleaned properly each day we were just given clean towels. The sheets were clean but the bedding was grubby. We tipped the staff as and when each day but were given a tip envelope when we were checking out.
The ambience of the hotel and the fact that it was a heritage hotel. The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful.
Just a matter of taste, but it was all so nice and clean, we felt a little distanced from the world around us. This is partly because the is popular with European tour groups (with good reason). Also, while the dining staff were just lovely, the front desk service could have been a bit friendlier - perhaps they're just run off their feet with the demands of other tourists
We chose this Heritage Hotel for our first two nights in India - we could tell from the pics that the hotel and grounds are beautiful and they don't disappoint. The room and waiter service is impeccable - almost too polite. Everything felt clean and 'safe' - that's a bonus while we're finding our feet. Fab breakfast!
We like the rooms on 2nd floor better than the those on the 1st floor room (at least those near the courtyard), which were somewhat noisy and where wifi didn't work well or at all. Only one beer was available -- the weak version of Kingfisher -- and options for wine-by-the-glass were too limited. "Breakfast included" should have included water, too.
The property is a haveli (look it up), beautiful and atmospheric. Truly an oasis -- a wonderful place to start from and return to and relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping. Food was very good and the buffet had variety. The staff were nice and accommodating. We have been here with a group of friends, an adult family group, and large family group including young kids -- and we will keep coming back.
It is difficult to find the place if you are coming for the first time (but its worth it). Breakfast could have more fruits.
Great Decor! The ambience inside the hotel is great. The food served at the restaurant was of very high quality.
Wifi worked, but wasn't great in my room, had to go out to common area to get great reception.
Food was great! Staff was great! My room was clean and comfortable, air conditioner worked great. It was fancy but comfortable, and for a very affordable price.
Forgot travel vouchers in the room. The hotel staff contacted us and offered to forward the papers to us. Extremely friendly staff. Great location - an oasis in the middle of a busy city,
Superb location: quiet, authentic and heritage style. Staff is very helpful and friendly. A real recommendation!
The hotel itself is a luxury antique residence, which is hidden form the noisy street. The facilities, the decoration, the service and foods are all great. The puppet show played at the yard every evening is very funny.
Maybe consider upgrading the hair dryers.
The rooms have great character and the whole estate is really nice! The staff is really nice and helpful, we had great experience with everyone especially at the restaurant being super helpful.
very bad service by the waiter when no hot water in the room we were offered a "bucket with hot water" !!!-very unprofesional. in the end we moved to another room.bad experience in such a nice hotel
the building itself big rooms the terraces the pool the food free mineral water every day
Free codes for the internet are being provided for limited amount of hours. Although you get unlimited codes, it would make the process easier if one receives the codes for the full stay from the beginning.
This place makes you believe to be a Maharajah. The palace is wonderful. With all its amenities and nice staff the hotel makes the best out of the stay.
The Place was spectacular.... Will certainly be back..
The location is not good at all. The cab drivers cannot identity the place easily
Everything apart from the location. Starting from the breakfast to the staff to the whole building everything thing was perfect. The swimming pool was simply the best.
Dusty Windows, dusty blanket, shower stall and shower not adequate. TV did not work.
Nice place with a touch of heritage
The only thing to improve is the restaurant.
Nice and spacy rooms, quiet pool area, nice roof top.
If you want to get away from the noise and bustle of Jaipur then this hotel is just tucked back a bit and perfect. It is akso extremely pretty and the staff are very friendly.
You need to hand your key in during the day if you want your room making up - we were not told. Towels were rather mean and a little damp. Every night there was a chance to watch a puppet show in the pool area. This was definitely colourful and noisy, but a very amateur performance, designed with the sole intention of trying to get you to buy the over-priced puppets. Watch from a distance when another guest requests it if you don't want the 'hard sell'.
The hotel itself is a beautiful Heritage hotel with lovely, traditional decor and a relaxing ambience - an oasis in an otherwise unpromising neighbourhood. Lovely pool, but too cold for a dip while we were there! Staff were friendly and food good.
Wifi unreliable especially in our room. Reception staff were ok but not especially helpful or friendly for a hotel of this standard.
The historic buildings and rooms. Location close to the old city and major sites.
Location is not great. Wifi less than needed
The Haveli, rooms, staff and food
The environment, artwork, the care of the all the staff.
