I enjoyed the warm welcome by all staff members from the gentlemen outside to the guy that handled our luggage. Like the Tandoori chicken when it's available.
The cable tv was off for over 9 hours. The wifi was also unavailable for the entire first 24 hours I was there. During my checkout, I asked if the hotel will discount my stay and the young lady smiled and said no.
I didnt like food at all. It was really Bad. and didnt find staff to be friendly.
rooms; staff; service; real value for money
location very noisy AC and fridge. Hard to sleep Hard chemicals smell from the cleaning materials
breakfast could be more and various. There is a roof but anything on that roof.
The excellent courtesy of all staff in the hotel.
There is nothing that I did not like. With an enhanced speed the Wifi will be more useful.
Comfortable bed. Clean linen. Wide choice of TV channels. Good housekeeping staff.
Horrible WiFi service. Something that needs to be looked in. Especially for the business traveler. And please do not charge for ice buckets. Ridiculous.
Value for money and nice staff
No wifi (wifi password was provided but never worked)
Comfort, value for money, family friendly, nice staff.
Breakfast could be more international oriented.
the hotel was good the staff was excellent will love to go back went. I go to Indai.
I like the room is was excellent
Very pleasant hotel, excellent value for money. We are a big family and the triple room/suite was spacious and comfortable for us. The restaurant serves nice food, breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of Western and Indian foods. Service was friendly.
Location is out of town.
Clean, neat budget hotel. If you are in limited budget, this hotel is a really good option.
The room above reception facing the street is too noisy.
There was no sufficiant wifi connection and hot water comes from the shower after 45 minutes then opening
We liked the room and also the Restaurant.
Saidly the Wifi did not work at all and it was a little bit cold in the room but we, got a heater after asking for one.
second stay here - same as before, room was huge, and clean. staff were friendly. excellent value for money if you dont need wifi.
main issue here is that wifi doesnt work - EVER. told that it would be working later/the next day but it never did - on either time we stayed. i think they have used up their wifi allowance? also, location wasnt too good (wouldnt go out at night on own - but thats delhi all over).
Location is good and room is big，there is a restaurant in the hotel and service is super
attentive staff, very polite and helpful; restaurant has very good food at reasonable prices. breakfast is quite a small selection but good quality. room was huge. excellent value for money - have booked again for the end of our trip.
area surrounding the hotel isnt so good, and you can hear street noise from the room, but this is delhi!
I stay in many hotels in delhi but Anila Hotel is the best hotel . Room and bathroom are very clean. Free wi-Fi and breakfast is a Great bonus.
The only hotel during our tour in india that provides free wifi. Room was huge and beautiful. Room service was efficient. Great selection on the menu. quietest hotel of the tour. a grest little find.
Only one restaurant but good selection and great staff.
Food Service & taste was superb...
There were no action / support on internet WiFi
The rooms were big, nice and clean. The bathroom was also very nice. Good value for money.
Checkout took 15 minutes because the staff member kept answering the phone whilst serving us; he was also not very polite. The room was absolutely freezing and the A/C had been set to 16C when we arrived.
The hotel is nice and clean and accommodating. My flight was cancelled and they allowed me to check back in to complete the remainder of my reservation and provided a clean room.
As I was checking out a second time, the receptionist was confused and had us waiting for over 25 minutes to simply say at the end, thank you for staying with us.
Excellent staff at restaurant. Buffet breakfast was average, but not bad. Spacious rooms, helpful Staff and accommodative. Wifi works in all areas, needs password. Central water heating.
Laundry is very pricey. Location is away from central Delhi and most of the sight seeing places, not very ideal. Linen desperately needs change, very old and stained. During winter prefer room heaters which we're missing so room and bed was very cold.
At £30, it's good value for money for what you get. It's clean, crisp, spacious. Customer-facing staff are polite and courteous without being too in your face. Wi-fi is a real plus, especially in Delhi (where we struggle to find decent connection, if a connection at all).
All the facilities have a charge, which wouldn't necessarily be a problem if one was made aware of this, but they do not inform you of this until the last minute. Location is not great, unless you have something specific to do in the area. The "shopping centre" a few blocks away is nothing as such - it's got a few dingy places to go for a drink, and a bunch of stands selling alcohol (one of them from the government!). The cinema has 6 screens, but all movies are in Hindi and other local languages; and not only you're not allowed to go in with a handbag, but neither you can have chocolate, chewing gum, mobile phones... Bit like walking into prison, really. Non customer-facing staff can be a little inconsiderate at times. The night we stayed they had a party, which kept us awake with loud music until 1am, and then staff was clearing up with no effort to be quiet until 2.30am, banging dishes, moving furniture, etc. It probably would have been ok, but we had a 4am start and a long journey the following day, so we were defo not pleased.
Nice hotel with spacious rooms (we had a standard room) and a good and clean bath room with a good working shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful. When we indicated that we didn’t like the sounds from the restaurant, they immediately offered us another room. Breakfast is a bid sober for Western guests. The restaurant has no licence but you can order a beer in your room when you are back from a long day in dusty Delhi. Close to the airport. As the room is large, you can sit there and relax.
The noise coming from the restaurant in the morning during breakfast time till deep in the night. As the bar and the tables are tilled, putting down each plate creates noise. As the rooms (3rd – 5th floor) are situated around the restaurant, the area is working as a resonance box. Also the second room they offered (2nd floor) was noisy. If you are sensitive for noise, don’t go to the Anila. A bit far from interesting places, the metro station ( 3 km by Tuk Tuk) and no restaurants nearby.
New hotel. Clean. Staff sometimes is good and helpful in general. For this money it's ok.
Location. Very far from everything.
