Beach and Lake Ayurvedic Resort  

The staff were friendly, the pool was clean and warm surrounded by palm trees. The romantic restaurant was across the lake so the hotel has this beautiful boat that you sit on and get punted over. Great book swap. Reasonable shuttle to airport price. So wonderful. Would recommend.

So relaxing and helped to slow down the pace of our holiday. Great place to chill unwind and watch the world go by. Good wildlife and easy access by tuk tuk to town . Food fine but a little expensive

The lack of alcoholic drink may be a drawback for some otherwise good stay. Could not adjust the powerful air conditioning and could not sleep without it on therefore slept in gale force wind for 3 nights.

We are 3 persons travelling together. All agreed on this: Food quality was real good, excellent chefs. Almost all the staff was friendly, smiling, attentive. The smiling friendly young staff and the quality of meals and the pool (why not serve people at poolside?) was the reason we didnt leave after 1 day, but stayed some more nights.

Overpriced food in restaurant (european prices), too simple included beakfast with a thin tasteless cofee without black beans and a feeling of all the time having to ask for everything, even water in room (only 1 single bottle for 2 persons that didnt come automatically), electricity falling out too often, real dirty in all surroundings (garbage floating in river, on beach etc) - though resort itself was clean. Had a feeling of being watched all the time while there, of too attentive owner, asking questions etc. We need peace and to decide privacy as guests...

The View from the rooms is the only thing.

Honestly, this hotel does not deserve to be given a 4 star rating, if i was to compare it to a standard it would be a guest house service in Goa(even they would be better). If this is the standard of a 4 star then i would say the city needs to re look into its standard. Really sad to see that Booking.com did not even consider the rating. This is not the 1st time we have done our reservation on this site, we used it for our Hong Kong trip twice and we loved the hotels, we used the information for the rest of the stay in Trivandrum for Maurya Rajdani. That was way better. If you continue marketing hotels like these on your site i personally think you will start loosing your touch. BEACH AND LAKE RESORT was a TOTAL disaster. if you want details and even if the owner or management wants positive criticism please let me know.

Clean room and 24h available boat transport to very poor hotel restaurant

Resaturant very poor, and very expensive compared to other places in the vicinity.Breakfets included in the price meant toast with jam with cofee ot tea. Swimming pool practically without circulation of fresh water. Permanent odor of burning wastes from neighbouring houses. There is no beach close to hotel, but place where local people dispose wastes and garbage.Much too expensive compared to the offered standard.

The personell is very nice and friendly.

The beach is dirty and there is a huge garbage dump a couple of hundreds meters from the hotel just on the adjacent beach, and you can feel all its smell during the lunch or dinner. Thousands of crows are flying over the hotel day and night and constantly cawing. Lake is very dirty. No efforts found to keep it clean. Local people were burning something on the beach just in front of the dining room during the breakfast and it was smelly.

Superb natural environment Birth paradise

Staff cannot and not willing to cope with problems such as electricity cut off which occurs very often. It is very unlikely that the problems will be solved by staff.
