The swimming pool, the spacious room, the service

Perfect location as it was located just outside tourist infested old city so very quiet. Beautiful architecture of the hotel. Extremely friendly owner and the staff. They were helpful at every step including sending their own car to drop us to the station in the middle of the night. Roof top restaurant where you could enjoy the view of the fort. Food was excellent as well. We also enjoyed the dip in the pool. Must stay here while visiting Jaisalmer

The hotel was in a great location...near to almost all the sightseeing attractions. The swimming pool looked amazing. Did not get a chance to use it though, as it was quite cold in the evening! The complimentary breakfast was terrific - with aloo parantha and poori bhaji, eggs to order, juice, toast etc.

We wanted to book a cab for the entire day's sightseeing in Jaisalmer, trip to Sam dunes, camel ride till sun set point, dinner at a desert resort with cultural program. For this entire package the hotel staff at reception gave us a quote of 4500 rupees. We got the same package from another agent who we met at the train station for 2000 rupees. I was extremely disappointed to know that the hotel is ripping off it's customers like this. Other than the breakfast, food is very ordinary.

Maybe a little far away from Jaisalmer Fort and city center.

The Golden Haveli is situated in a quite area but still close to the Fort. It's only a 10 minutes walk. The view from the roof top restaurant is fantastic. The construction of the pool is now finished. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is great.

very good hotel even not in the castle but not far and compared quiet and more spaces for people, luxury and nice, big room but romantic, especially with nice swimming pool.

Lovely atmosphere... Very nice place, rooms clean and beautiful forniture...the staff was very friendly and ready to help us in all we need.. Jaisalmer is an amazing place and the golden haveli is the best way to live it..

I really enjoyed my stay at Golden Haveli in Jailsalmer from December 30th till January 1st. Main highlights: 1. Friendly staff. Suraj Singh and Mr Gazi Khan in particular were very helpfull everytime we needed 2. Good value for money 3. Walking distance to the main attractions (10 minutes) 4. Clean, spacios and quiet room (the latter becomes a big asset in India if you want a proper sleep) 5. Real and super hot shower (I was there during the coldest winter in the last 42 years) 6. They even provided an electric heater and a complimentary transport to the train station at 23:00 (when is a bit difficult to find a auto rickshaw in the streets). Much appreciated that. Thanks! 7. Good restaurant with the option to have it served in the room. 8. An update about the pool: it is filled and about to be ready (not a big plus for me though)

Food is vegeterian.... I did not know that....I would not have booked....Food quality is very poor.....

The staff was helpful and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good with options.

Had a little bit of trouble with hot water in the morning and is also a bit inaccessible in case you need transport.

Staff very helpful and upgraded our room

Considerable thought had been put into the building of the hotel; unfortunately there are a number of things that have not been completed. The view from the rooftop restuarant is excellent and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. The location of the hotel was quiet and relaxing.

First impression of hotel was that of a building site as the pool and path to main entrance remained uncompleted. The food in the restuarant was generally disappointing.

It is really nice hotel, quite atmospheric with so many things made of local sandstone (like everything in Jaisalmer), it is still under construction, they are building swimming pool. When it is completed the hotel would be great. Free wifi internet is also nice.

We liked hotel's friendly Staff and location. The owner Mr Gaji Khan and the manager Mr Suraj at the front desk were very courteous. The hotel is located just away from city noise, but within easy reach to city and attractions. Our train was in the evening, but we were allowed late checkout. We liked the roof top restaurant which is pure vegetarian. They can cook anything for you even if it is not in their menu.

When we reached hotel, a new swimming pool was under construction, so the entry to the hotel was slightly awkward.

Very helpful staff and manager - provided water, allowed me to check out late, provided me with a lift to the airport. It's a short and easy walk from town, but far enoguh that you avoid the noise. Very new, with the nicest rooms I've stayed in during my trip around India. Highly recommended

Staying at Golden Haveli is a Golden experience.Its quite economic. Initially I was hesitant to book here Burt I saw the reviews and booked it. The Hotel is more than value for money. The owner has taken keen interest in designing the hotel. The windows are no less than the windows of palace. Everything suits the glamour of the town Jaisalmer. Every accessory in the room is carved in Jaisalmer stone. The staff is very cooperative. Our stay here was more than a pleasure. Thanks to Booking .and thanks to Hotel Golden Haveli.

Está algo alejado del fuerte, quizá mejor alojarse dentro pese a las recomendaciones de Lonely Planet de evitar el fuerte por el deterioro al alojarse en él. Jaisalmer is so nice, that i´d book inside the fort in the future.

Ruhiges, dem Baustil der Gegend angepasstes Hotel mit Pool am Fuße der Altstadt. Perfekt zum Entspannen, das Restaurant auf der Dachterrasse hat einen wundervollen Blick auf das Fort. Das Fort ist zu Fuß zu erreichen, das Personal ist aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich.

Das Restaurant auf dem Dach könnte etwas gemütlicher gestaltet werden.

Haveli moderne mais dans l'esprit des havelis anciens. Très belle chambre, bien décorée, confortable, spatieuse. Belle piscine, appréciable aux heures chaudes. Personnel agréable et dévoué.

Localisation à la périphérie, au calme. Chambres vastes et confortables Piscine propre (c'est rare en Inde) et agréable pour se détendre Bon accueil à la réception

L'infrastructure du restaurant sur le toit n'est pas à la hauteur de l'hotel et le personnel n'est manifestement pas formé.
