good service from the staff, they upgraded our room from deluxe to business, the room was clean so as the bed. the location is central in main bazar, big sign and light at night. very comfortable. There's an elevator which is exceptional and very comfortable. AC was good. big room and many mirrors.
Bad smell in the toilet, the staff has cleaned it again the other day but it's something probably in the pipes. that was our main problem. also the rates for the traveling service (pick-up and drop at air port, taxi rates to Agra) and the money exchange rates were high in comparison to others. wi fi code didn't work at part of the stay. price was a little high in comparison. few rooms of people from india were loud at morning (and they don't close their room doors!)
cooperative staaf silence
room was not ready on arival; cleaning under progress.
Clean, decent location, nice staff.
Wifi barely worked and noise from construction went on quite late
the nature of receptionist
they charged 30 rs for 20 rs minaral water
A medium level hotel in a chaotic typical Delhi bazaar. Friendly staff. Good rooms with bathroom attached and AC. Good location to explore all the city (5 minutes walk from metro) and to relax when you will really need it. We highly recommend a ckup service from the airport, since we had a bad experience with the prepaid "government" taxi service.
Rooms facing the street can be noisy.
Clean. Deluxe room was very quiet and well-equipped. (Ask for a quiet room so you're not right on the street.) Nice staff.
Breakfast was okay, but otherwise the food at the restaurant wasn't great.
Staff, spacious room, central location, very noisy street but once inside it's quiet
Stains on bed sheets and towels, hot water only after 25min running, be careful of very high taxes that add up to the room price
They charged me because they couldn't find my booking when I called them to cancel it. Bad service. Very noisy.
The food was delicious Friendly staff Good tourist information
Wifi was really slow
Excellent reliable management
Some rooms on the side to Main bazaar can be noisy.
the location; the staff are honest and kind .
This hotel is an oasis of calm in Phangan. The rooms are well appointed, clean and kept in good working order. But what really makes this hotel special is the staff. Every member of staff greeted me everyday and took the time to ask if I was happy. Nothing is too much trouble and no one hangs about looking for a tip.
The WiFi can be very slow at times but probably no worse than anywhere else in Main Bazaar.
Outlook of the hotel.
Elevator, toilet,no mini bar fridge. Blanket Not much clean. No footwear in room.
Food was good in restaurant and for room service. Staff helpful in organising tours Rooms clean and good condition While hotel clean Plenty of staff Proper linen and towels provided
Wifi signal not always great Hustle and bustle location and hasted in the street regularly, would not recommend to sole women travellers or those less confident. Indoor restaurant was a building site but still used Lift temp mental
Fish tanks in deluxe room are awesome! Good wifi. Very helpful at reception, even for really early check-in they were able to give us a room for a cheap rate. Luggage storage for 4 days was free service. Really good value for money and restaurant on 1st floor is clean and tasty with a wide range of western and indian food. Located right on the exciting main bazaar road.
Nothing to mention.
The staff really make this place... Friendly, helpful and always accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel :)
location in the main bazaart
AC is sometimes switched off from the reception when u r in the room.
They upgraded me very kindly for my stay for the same price I had double booked room, so that made for a lovely comfortable stay.
The air conditioner would at times not work so I would have to call down to reception to get it sorted.
i like the service from the restaurant specially want to mention the name of a waiter called ravi. his room service was very warm with a greeting and a smile in his face everytime he comes in the room. i like it . about the deluxe room it seems nice and specially the bed was comfort and the A/c was working fine. plus point.
i hated the wifi speed and its connection. it keep on disconnecting while working on net so that was really inconvenient. every next day u have to get a password from the front desk. the staff at the front desk was good but not excellent. one morning i had to call 4times to the reception for my wifi password and it took 94minutes to get it. that was really bad... some of the tv channel was not clear and lots of disturbance in the signal.
The place is relatively clean and safe. It is located in the old center (Main Bazar), which has a unique spirit and very interesting atmosphere.
1. IMPORTANT: never use desktop computers in the lobby - there are fraud viruses on them, which can easily steel your credit card information. I didn't use my card anywhere in India, but I logged in to my Gmail account from this lobby computer. Next night somebody tried to buy $400 item from Alibaba using my credit card details. I guess the details of my card were saved in some letters in the mailbox and this virus just automatically pulled them out as soon as I logged in to the system. 2. The smell of anti-cockroach poison was all over my room (but obviously there were no cockroaches). 3. Wi-fi works bad - it requires new passwords every 24 hours or sometimes even twice for one evening.
The hotel was great. . Pay a couple USD for the added cleanliness and western luxury and you won't need to worry about anything. Stayed at a hotel near by that was rundown then made move to this great place... totally satisfied.
The tour desk was friendly but had to pay to get to overnight bus when we were told it would pick up at hotel.. this last minute surprise was only bad experience so guess we were lucky.
- location - the room
- the noise (yelling, music, quarreling) coming from a neighboring room in the middle of the night (2 am) and the lack/delay of response of the staff to that issue
The staff was wonderful and honest. Will surely recommend for fellow travelers to explore this hotel at reasonable price.
Smooth checkin & amenities in room also location of hotel.
Short with some cleanness in room & bathroom, so many rules of hotel which make you feel that you are in a army guarded area !!! They don't allow your friends or visitor for work in your room !!! Wifi does not work smooth ...
