Shower was good, even though you have to ask them to open the hot water every time you wanna shower. You can't do it by yourself.
Bedsheets weren't cleaned for a decade. We had used plasters on it! WiFi is super slow and unreliable.;don't expect it to work at all.
It is a good place to rest. Nice hotel according to Indian standards. Wi-fi didn't work properly though.
Impersonal attitude of the staff Wi-fi didn't work properly
Great location, quiet rooms and good service
neatness value for money
cost of food is high
Very comfortable place to relax from busy Paharganj!
Location and one of the best in the area
could be cleaner
Good location. Nice rooms. Front desk was helpful. Accommodated my laundry request (was a little pricier than most places though). Helped me hire a driver for the day, although they take you to a couple of shops without asking. Bed was comfortable. Great price. Checking in and out was easy. Reservation on booking.com was seamless. I did not use their wifi.
sheets could be cleaner. Annoyed that you have to call first to get hot water turned on, and had to get my room key fixed twice.
It is located in bustling Pahaganj Market. But as soon as you enter inside the hotel you will be pleasantly surprised to see the welcoming team of staff who are there to make every effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms are specious enough for 2 people. They were nice and quiet no outside noise(we had executive room inside, I suppose semi-deluxe rooms they are out side and not as quite) Beds are comfortable. Bathroom was nice though you do have to call them for hot water if you plan to use it in early hours of the morning so they will turn on hot water for you. There is a tour desk and foreign exchange desk next to receptions area and I found them very helpful and with very competitive rate. Restaurant in the hotel is nice with reasonable priced varieties of options. Stayed January 2015, traveled with family
If you do not like very crowded place and noisy area you may reconsider staying somewhere else.
The staff took good care of us and was very helpfull, the atmosphere at the hotel was calm and inviting. The best hotel we stayed at during our three weeks stay in North India.
Good location.kindly cooperation of staffs.low cost but high performance .my total family stay in 3 rooms 11members include 5children.All are satisfied
The staff was amazing, they helped with every little part of our trip. They helped get a car service for a really reasonable price. The rooms were beautiful too. Every staff was extremely friendly, couldn't be happier.anytime we had a question they were helpful. Highly suggested.
No hot water at night, toilet was not clean, water leaking when use the sink, blanket is old and yellow, not recommended.
Position in main bazaar, metro close by, excellent breakfast included, freshly made coffee, extremely friendly staff at front counter and in restaurant, all requests handled immediately. It was a delight to stay there.
Good location, average breakfast, comfortable rooms compared to other options. The hotel personnel were helpful and good in listening problems and offering solutions. The souvenir shop is a must to drop by.
Because of new year period and the construction in the hotel, booked rooms were not available and we had to change 3 rooms in 4 days.
The semi deluxe and deluxe rooms are very comfortable.
Nice rooms, excellent service, ample breakfast. Location on a busy bazaar street lets you experience urban India in the raw. Energetic chaos, but I felt safe as a foreign visitor (but you do need to watch the traffic!).
The hotel has AC, but no heating, so we were a bit chilled during our January stay, but the chill was bearable, especially when you factor in the low cost.
Location is good, convenient for getting Metro to airport & trains from NDLS. Rooms facing away from street (&costing a little more) are quiet.
Suggestion: lobby has been refurbished, WiFi is good but access to computer & printer to print boarding cards, etc, would be helpful.
Great room, good shower. The bed was comfortable. Awesome convenient location to the metro. Great area to shop and walk around.
Crazy unorganized staff, lots of mix ups at this hotel. Breakfast was ok, I wouldn't get the breakfast option though, find other local eats nearby the hotel instead (there's a few really delicious ones like Kathmandu Cafe and Sam's Cafe)
helpful staff - helped to manage with the change of my air flight booking good location if you are about to travel by train - its 7-10 minutes walking to the ND Railway Station, so igetting there is not a problem even at 2 am value for money if you need to stay close to metro or railways we stayed at executive and upper class double - both were rather comfortable hot water and water pressure in shower was OK
Noisy area - needed to use ear plugs Paharganj is specific - be prepared to live in a filthy area, but again, for Delhi its a common place Not very clean showels and bed sheets, but compared to other hotels in Delhi we felt like in a medium european hotel we stayed at Jan, was really cold, but there was a blanket in the room we had no window - fish tank provided an alternative
We happen to like this area, but it might not be everyone's cup of tea. The rooms were great, much better than other hotels we stayed in. The food was good, especially the coffee...only criticism is that our meals weren't all served at the same time. We would stay and recommend.
Just service of food..slow and disjointed (although it was New Years Eve so some allowance for this is needed).
Great location, wonderful staff, good restaurant (huge & tasty meals for a good price)
Room had a slightly damp smell but was very clean
Service of each staff from reception to room service, Timely response of maintenance staff on call, Flexibility about the timing while check out, Managers acceptability of suggestions
Considering the climate of Delhi in December Room heater instead of AC should be provided without extra cost. Room cleanings on call need to be more attentive.
Good locatin, resonable cost, humble hotel staff, decent treatment to customers, good qualuty food available in hotel restaurent.
Water for bath is available in very small quantity.
Staff promptness and courteous behavior, the newly renovated rooms which are truly best in class and swanky, overall food menu range and quality too...
the renovation work going on at the hotel mainly in the entrance lobby was indeed a major hassle and constraint to all the guests... also a simple basic element such as daily newspaper is not provided to the hotel guests in their room.
