Relatively inexpensive for a Delhi stay. Can meet friendly foreign tourists with a keen interest to explore India. The roof-top restaurant with plants/ etc ambience is excellent for late-eve/ night and even breakfast. Close to roadside knick-knack shops/ curious if anyone is interested.

Cigarette smokey smell in the rooms. Windows open to the wall of next bldg. Located not in a downscale area of the city.. more along the gulley types.

Value for money and its really clean hotel.

AC,don't work! TV,don't work! Hotwater..what? Clean bedclothes..? Don't think so! You don't get what you paid for!!! Several dead fish in the aquarium!!

Great Location. Very near to N.Delhi Station and Metro station. It is in the middle of Parharganj street.

In my room, I could smell toilet.

I loved the Bazaar location - you go out of the hotel and all the shops/ business and real life await you there. You go in and you can;t hear a noise in the lovely room featuring a surprisingly amazing fish tank in the wall. Very nice :)

We have spent nearly 8 days in the hotel and were quite impressed with the service of the staff in making our stay pleasant and comfortable. Most of the staff members were nice and friendly. We would not hesitate to go to the same hotel when we plan our next trip to Delhi.

First thing you need to decide whether you need to stay in main bazza or not. We stayed there but on second thought we don't have to because the advantage of main bazza is that it's close to new delhi railway station, while we arrive delhi in the old delhi station and we leave delhi by plane. If you need to stay in main bazza, then this is a good choice. I feel it's a safe and organized hotel. I arrived at early morning and at the reception it was a very interesting old man.

One thing we were not so happy about is the hot water is not hot all the time...

Friendly and kind staff.

They didn't accept credit card which written ok on confirmation.

Bed is comfortable, room was clean and relatively quiet. The balcony of the restaurant is quite nice to get away from the market. Free wi-fi was good too.

Bathrooms could be improved, but reliable hot water was nice!

good locatation close to the New Delhi train station and they have a new building beside the old one but still under painting that it's a little smelly but decorated much better, much modern, may next time ... the old building is old and simply with a little noisy, but top floor is the restaurant and taste good and all the people are very nice & friendly

I have stayed at the Hari Piorko Hotel in Paharganj three times now and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The beds are the most comfy I have stayed in India, the rooftop restaurant is excellent with beautiful views over the city, and the service is first class. Most rooms have their own fishtanks built into the wall, which when lit up in th evenings, is very relaxing to watch. The hotel has a marble stairway and mosaic floors, which are gorgeous and it's right in the heart of Main Bazaar Street, which I think is wonderful, although if you don't like the hustle and bustle of an Indian market, you might want to stay somewhere else. But I don't think Hari Piorko can be beaten on value and location. In a word - Excellent.

If I had to say anything negative about the hotel, it would be that the bathrooms could be improved.

We stayed here briefly before our flight home. It is very centrally located on the Main Bazaar. The staff were very helpful, rooms large, clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage space and the rooftop restaurant was large. We ordered room service food and it arrived comparatively quickly, and was tasty.

We requested hot water which didn't materialise, and had to take lukewarm showers. The tv had terrible signal.

Good location in the center of Main Bazar. Quite big hotel, easy to find. It has aquarium with real fish in each room! Very nice.

The hotel is situated right in the Market Bazaar, and quite close to New Delhi Train Station, and Metro station. It's easy to be found and located.

It's a city hotel. Room is big but without window for natural sunlight. Wifi is rather slow and not always accessible. Staff are friendly in general but also keen on charging a lot for transit car to other cities like Agra.

-The restaurant. Currently, the hotel has no kitchen, so the food is prepared elsewhere and then transported to the hotel. I suggest to eat in a close by restaurant. -The hotel is located in one main bazar, so can be noisy sometimes. Just try to see the room before pay. -You need to ask everytime for toiled paper

We used this hotel as a transit stop between trains from New Delhi Railway Station. Its location (500m from NDLS) was excellent, and its Super Deluxe rooms had all that you could need - equivalent to a good 3 star motel in Australia. One of our party stayed on for another 3 days, and found the location excellent for shopping both at the local markets and the Connaught Place area

If you want to pay credit card, they add 10% to the price. Rude staff
