Location and in house food was good.

No housekeping and room service .Hot water not available 24x7.

The place was good, and the staff was friendly. Got meals prepared to our interest.

Nice and quiet location in the asrama, some minutes up from the Ooty downtown. Very good restaurant with Rajasthani and Gujarati cuisine. Spacious room with sitting area. Really hot water in the morning - bless after chilly Ootie's night.

Chilly nights - I have to struggle for the blanket with my mate, so I recommend to take an extra one during check-in.

A good value-for-money option for Ooty, away from the hustle of the center. The mini-suites are spacious and comfortable. Friendly young staff, good breakfasts included in the rate, and tasty dinner dishes.

When we checked in we were shown a smaller room which clearly wasn't a mini-suite and we had to insist on the correct room.

Very spacious and clean rooms, an open WiFi accessible from the room (at least from the one we had), restaurant with good traditional vegetarian food (though not a broad variety), good complementary breakfast

It can get very cold in autumn/winter and the place has no heaters (you even cannot rent one!), there's only hot water from 07:30 to 10:00 am and if you visit Ooty without a car, you always have to walk quite far or take a rickshaw (if you walk it already takes 15 minutes to get to the lake and almost an hour to the center of Ooty)

Excellent location - very quiet and away from the noise and crowd of the town. At the same time, 5 minutes walk from the Ooty lake, with a convenient autorickshaw stand to get to any location in the town. The staff were very courteous and helpful, especially cleaning staff who did a meticous job. The cottage where we stayed was spacious and comfortable, in serene surroundings, with its own covered porch. Running hot water was available at all times. The room tariff was very reasonable for the kind of facilities provided.

Maintenance needs to be upgraded - some of the fittings were broken, probably by previous occupants. Very limited menu in the restaurant - this needs urgent attention. Although the website promised tea and coffee arrangements in the room. no such facility was provided - they had to be ordered separately, at additional cost, and only after 7.30 AM. The cable TV connection needs to be rectified - poor quality images, maybe because of the location of the dish.

Giving respect by the staff.

The location in the ashram campus+ multireligious temple was very pleasing. We walked arround the campus -we feel very relaxing. The view was very peacefull and buetyfull.

We stay in haveli athithi bhavan hotel in one night,it was a good experience for us.the rooms are good according to the place, and the rates are also fair for us and the most important thing is the hotel is located near to the lake.we recommend the guests to select the hotel is the best choice for them.

Anyhow the climate of ootty is pleasent,but I recommend there is a shortage of a fan in the rooms,because sometimes inside the rooms there was hot..nothing more...

the staff were cordial and responsive. room service was good. the stay was comfortable and is value for money. its attached to abu babaji ashram with its temple complex and garden space , so one can take a walk, spend a quiet time in the temple complex and also meditate.

flooring can be an issue as i found it slippery a few times. doormats which absorb water when we step out of bathroom, should be provided. also, room heaters should be provided especially for old people and young children. otherwise its a comfortable stay.

No complementary coffee/tea (in contrast to what was indicated in website). Only Tamil breakfast (while small children wanted to have cornflakes or chocolate milk). No room service on second day. Locally published rate was cheaper than what was mentioned on the internet (though we had to pay internet rate).

Chambre très mal insonorisé (on entend les conversations des gens). La propreté de la chambre et de la salle de bain laisse à désirer.

it was a random selection at first...but when we checked in , found it too good to stay...excellent room with a small kitchen and very spacious bathroom.

had our dinner out..almost daily!
