Really good location and good price as well! The room it was nice and clean. They gave to us a good opportuninity to have a tour of Varanasi. Our guide called (Manu) was amazing, he come from Varanasi and of course he knows everything about it. Very interesting it was the tour on the Gange! Everything good! Thank you
The room was quiet, the bed and the bathroom was clean. Basic breakfast.
Disliked manager pressing too: at eleven o'clock pm we were very tired and the manager asked if we wanted to book an organized trip for the day after... that was not professional.
Nothing attracts about this hotel.
the location of the hotel was good area was friendly to walk out and the staff were more than happy to give advise on places to go and would sort the trips out if needed
Absence of elevator
Breakfast, nothing to eat except eggs and toasts Staff not polite and kind
Hotel is good . Interior is good .
Location is not good it's too far from the kasi vishwanath temple. The service quality is very poor. They don't even provide Ny drinking water . Rooms are too small and without balcony. They offered u a complimentary tea and coffee inside the room bt they will not provide u cups.
people at the counter trying to sell you tours which are too expensive
all the staff super service
Waste hotel worst area the staff were dedicated only for money no lift at all
The location is not bad, very close to the Ghats, and the hotel is a new building, clean and bright.
Since the first moment we arrived the staff were selling us tours around the city. For the first day we made the tour, and it was terrible: 10 minutes visiting temples and 4 hours in silk stores, where they obligate people to buy. NOT RECCOMENDED! there's so much to see in Varanasi to spent time in these tours. Be strong and don't let the staff try to organise (and waste) your precious day in the city.
The hotel location is great and the reception staff is extremely polite and helpful. They can provide useful information and put you in the hands of very good guides who will show you the town for a very reasonable price. The rooms were excellent and furnished with taste. This hotel was a pleasant surprise during our trip.
room design, clean rooms, nice restaurant, helpful stuff including the car driver
price for Ganga tour and car rental, guide not too good
The hotel is close to the ghats. The bathroom was cleaned, the room and the hotel too. It almost new construction
Our room was in the 5th floor, with out elevator. The restaurant was still under construction. We took a tour guide , it was expensive and without half of the route they promise. we have a discussion with the manager about the price, because they want the same amount of money for half of the tour. The TV didn´t work, we ask the manager to check it, but nobody came to the room to fix it. The shower was with cold water. We had to wait almost 10 minutes to get hot water.
Quality of food is good.
The booking was done from 11 PM in the night for two days with instructions that we will check out at 11 PM in the night as our train from varanasi to jabalpur was at 11.30 PM. The special instructions were also given while booking the room online. While check in the manager was also informed that we will check out at 11 PM and was willing to pay extra charges if required and I was given the assurance. However they forced me to evict the room at 11 AM in the morning on the pretext that the room has been booked by someone else. On the same day in the morning at 7 AM I had personally informed the manager that we will check out at 11 PM in the night. Inspite of this they booked the room to some other customer. We were running from post to pillars to find a roof to protect us from the sun, finally we spent the rest of the day at the railway platform. When I told the manager that I had given the instructions that I will check out at 11 PM and showed him the print out of the online booking receipt the manager told that they dont read any special instructions and will not honour my request. While making the payment initially they expressed their inability to accept the payment by card for food and travel services. After lot of discussion they finally agreed to accept card. Overall it was a bad experience, if there's column for special request than it should be honoured and prior to booking any occupied room they should ask the occupant regarding check out and than only book it to some other customer. except the food nothing was good.
It was great value for money, close walking distance to the Ghats. Excellent a/c. Friendly staff provided knowledgeable guides. Very clean linen and clean bathrooms.
Thin towels and no hand towel. Hot water wasn't consistently available- you had to ring up to get it turned on outside of hot water hours!
Unpleasant staff AC in the room doesn't work Many blackouts Cold water Creepy rooftop restaurant
The hotel is well kept. Neat and clean. Although its in the old part of the city its very clean and rooms are clean. The staff is very helpful and courteous.
Some of the facilities in the room need upkeep like some switches taps tv etc. The staff will hang around you for tips. So you have to handle that carefully. There is no lift, so if you have the higher rooms its a bit of a climb even to the restaurant.
The attitude of the staff. Very helpful. We loved the rooms and the cleanliness.though the location is not centre, it is quiet and tucked away. We recommend the hotel for couples and families.
Absence of elevator.
The location was great, very close to the Assi Ghat and with a short walk alonge the ghats you reach the old town.
Not too far from the Ganges
No direct view to the Ganges; very high building with no lift
Whilst the staff could be helpful they were also a bit pushy with extras and the restaurant manager was abrupt
The location near the Gats; most kind staff in the reception desk (the A-team!) and in the restaurant (our waiter Vijay!); also a good guide Manosh to show us around the city.
It was nice to have only cold water on the shower to compensate the heat of the city.
The room was very dirty, with dust and pubic hairs on the floor. We asked to wash it, but they didn'T. Lots of noise from hotel staff in the morning, from 5am. Impossible to sleep. The tour guide they sold us was a complete fraud, very expensive and completely boring. Much more fun to visit the old town and it's completely safe, despite of the insistent staff's alerts.
