Reception area was not was impressing as the restaurant and the standard room was a little small.
Bed was not comfortable. The edges caved down. Bedcover was significantly shorter than the bed
The friendliness of the staff and the beautiful fittings
The room felt very damp .... The carpet and the bedding too. But it could have been the general humidity due to the monsoon. Otherwise, the room was beautiful
Excellent and helpful staff at the Front Office. They work on mistakes within minutes. I pointed out something in my room to the front office staff and within seconds the front office manager is talking to me and apologized. Excellent work
Promptness: The Duty manager (Assim Sherif) was prompt in advising the Marketing division of the issue (Locate the place), which I mentioned on arrival. Customer Service : Very warm welcome with a beaming smile. Had a genuine flare and energy of the place. (Point of Contact for the day: Priyanka Sen, a very vibrant person) Location : Is in close proximity to many of the temples.
Locate the place : No proper signage of the Hotel in and around TVM, which makes it tricky for people unfamiliar with the city (especially tourists), hard to spot the place. View : Was hoping to get a better view of the city from the room.
Need more varieties and dishes for breakfast
The location, spacious rooms, courteous staff, cleanliness.
1. Their menu displayed a dish as veg and we ordered it. But when we asked the chef about it, turns out that he had actually used a chicken broth/powder which actually wasn't veg!! 2. The toilet isn't meant for Indians. An average indian doesn't use a tissue paper after he finishes his business on the WC. we use water. But there was no hand shower/water provided anywhere near the WC. Only a tissue roll. when told about this, the staff response was there were handshowers in the public area toilets. But then, what is the purpose of having an ensuite if I have to use a toilet outside my room!!
Great central location. You can walk around the corner to a market and be driven easily to Central city sights or the beach. Pleasant and interesting 20 minute drive to Kovalam beach for a swim and watch the fishermen drag in their nets. The hotel drivers were very good and it wasn't that expensive for the convenience and comfort. The staff were very pleasant and professional and the food was fantastic!
Not the hotels fault but, beware the cost of imported drinks! Your non-local wine and spirits will cost over twice as much as the menu says once the state taxes have been added.
Location was excellent since it was center of the city. Hotel was clean and there was no indian style and smell unlike other hotels. Rooms were clean and Internet speed was very good. We were traveling for my father's medical treatment and Staffs were very helpful and went extra mile to help them and us.
Midnight menu in the restaurant was not good and the staffs in the duty also little careless compare to others. No Muslim shower which made it little difficult.
no break fast with my package
I booked this hotel because I am a single woman traveling alone and wanted to be as secure as possible. I needed to be sure I had a ride to the airport from the hotel early the next morning. I was reassured via email that my transportation needs would be met. This was at an extra fee but that is something I was willing to pay for to ensure reliability and safety. This was a clean hotel with very attentive staff willing to help.
It is difficult to judge the area as I was there for only one night so my comment above may not reflect its' true appeal. It was difficult to contact the hotel initially. I had to contact the main Hilton chain but once this was done the contact was prompt and reliable via email.
The staff members were polite, friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself has a nice atmosphere. There is a good restaurant and the pool area is a perfect place to relax.
The food in the restaurant is expensive by Keralan standards, but the quality was good and I suppose it is a Hilton, so bound to be dear.
Service was outstanding. Staff were very friendly and eager to help at all times. They would regularly go out of their way to ensure were comfortable. Highly recommended
No massage/spa therapy at the hotel
Best hospitality that anyone can get in Kerala Trivandrum. Staff assistance is extremely fantastic.
No bar at pool area
stuffy room; small swimming pool; staff seemed incompetent
the hospitality and the excellent room which was very comfortable.
Everything, which is extremely rare.
Located nicely away from craziness of the town. Well furnished comfortable rooms. Lovely pool. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Nice room service for dinner.
Nothing at all.
hotel according to international standard
The food in the hotel was largely delicious and the restaurant service was intense, bordering on the bizarre. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to care about us having a pleasant stay.
Q. Can you have too much service? A. Yes. The restaurant was unbelievably over-staffed with little communication between the waiters. We got asked 8 times if everything was okay; Offered water endlessly until we ordered some just to stop being asked. Waiters roamed about looking for stuff to do and someone even reached onto our table and straightened up our plates,I assume to make it more symmetrical... If I had been in a business meeting it would have been highly irritating but as I was on holiday I found it hilarious.
