The reception staff were miserable and spent their time trying to serve several guests at once, doing none of it well.
The waiter in the Indian restaurant kept telling us we were ordering the wrong things and ordered what he thought we should have, when we said no he got very arrogant and dismissive. The cost was very high (£85) for 4 people having 2 beers, 2 soft drinks, 4 main courses with 2 portions of rice.
The keyboards, lamps, and large glass ornament hanging from the ceiling in the reception area were very grubby.
The fridge in the room didn't work and was not repaired, despite asking them several times.
The doors on the cupboards and wardrobes did not close, & in some cases were hanging off.
The shower curtains and blinds in the bathrooms were covered in black mould.
The bar ran out of Kingfisher, although there was some in the restaurants, could they not fetch some from else where?
The link to the card machines kept going down, so we had to find a cash point and pay cash most of the time. Not a problem, but it made the hotel look unprofessional.
The pool area was nice, but I think they have a big pigeon problem, as the surrounds were covered in pigeon poo, which the attendant did his best to keep clean.
There was also a lot of pigeon poo on the windows too.
Generally the place is very shabby and needs updating
I would not recommend this hotel

The Coffee shop
The driver organised by the hotel, Vajinda, was really good and their one redeeming feature. He was helpful, polite and went out of his way to accomodate us
