I liked this old colonial building
Rupees 19500 was taken away from my card ( it was not pre -authorisation amount ) and still after 1 month it has not been refunded back .Imperial hotel want me to chase up my bank for this refund. Typical old Indian government office staff behavior
Classy hotel -
Exceptional service very good food beautiful surroundings
High tea - best in Delhi It was everything you expect from a world class luxury hotel
Have to pay for wifi - very annoying when you have to check in for flights etc. Breakfast is very expensive - I didn't bother with it
Lovely hotel - interior & exterior. The pool looked amazing. Room was comfortable. Very attentive staff
Having to pay for wifi. Personally, not used to staff being so attentive
Beautiful property, old elegant colonial hotel. Service and staff was best I've ever had. Expensive and worth every penny.
Overall, excellent facilities, photos and memorabilia, garden, bars, etc. Helpful staff, if not particularly friendly, with a few exceptions who were lovely when we got talking. Flexible with late/early check out/in as arriving/leaving on the sleeper.
Having to pay for wifi, at these prices! Cold room and loud continuous hum in room.
Has improved from the 90's.
Room excellent size, quality fixture and fittings and efficient air conditioning. Swimming pool area outstanding with attentive staff on call, good snacks always available. Excellent security. Good selection of restaurants.
Hard to find any fault.
Combine the elegance of the 1930s with fresh, crisp decor; add a courteous and helpful staff and you come somewhere towards understanding what makes the Imperial the best hotel in Delhi. We have been there twice and next time in Delhi we'll be there again.
The way the hotel portrays the history of the British in India is very well done. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. The restaurants offer an excellent variety of very tasty food. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. This is a very good hotel.
The TV reception is poor, we were in two different rooms and it was very poor in both. The WiFi is also very poor and the hotel should upgrade this and add any charge within the room rate. In todays world to be paying for WiFi is an annoyance as its hard for the customer to determine exactly what he's paying for.
We loved everything about this hotel and would go back again and again.... the food, staff, facilities everything was great.
Paying for wifi
Comfort and cleanliness, refined sophistication with attention to detail in every way - beautiful flowers and attentive caring staff. An oasis in sometimes a chaotic city.
Although happy with bill would prefer to be told more clearly added tax information. We were only there for three nights and due to a wedding we were late being able to sleep and we were unable to use garden area on arrival which was a shame.
Beautiful building and décor, including historic paintings and photographs, friendly and welcoming staff, efficient service, good choice of restaurants/bars, and spacious comfortable rooms, excellent spa.
Imperial Palace by itself, architecture, feel the events and people who lived in this palace Staff (many many people ...)
Rates inr 115000 for 3 nights I paid by visa in euro 1562, they take 67 € in conversion rate ... In the room I ate a small pack of 2 broonies, doing my check out they asked me 1000 rupees (€ 12.94) ... wifi, a scandal ... not included and connection request authorization each time (total € 77) for 3 days !!! In short, this is petty and spoil, tarnished the image of this extraordinary palace. Good to visit and have a diner, not stay in the Imperial Palace, go to the Taj Palace.
Hotel interior. Hotels walls are filled with photographs of Indian history during British rule. Lot of information's prior to freedom struggle and the all the photos speaks from the British point of view. Spent lot time in photo view. Courtesy of staff liked.
Swimming pool for small kids didn't have shallow area.
The amenities and service were impeccable. All of the food and drinks that we had while staying on the property were outstanding. A truly unique and beautiful building and grounds. The staff was extremely helpful and a joy to be around, it made us feel like a home away from home.
The temperature in the room was held at a degree we felt was a little warm. The business center was excessively priced for international faxes and copies.
Rooms - bathroom bedroom.
Staff in breakfast room a little slow and not on the ball.
A great way to end a holiday with a luxury stay at the Imperial. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The bed is so comfortable with the choice of many types of pillows. Don't forget to experience the high tea. Exceptional value for money.
Brilliant pretty much everything - but what you would expect from this hotel
For the price it would be useful to have free wifi included. I have been staying at imperial for years and, despite it's facelift over the years, it still retains it's timeless charm. Would recommend as the best hotel in Delhi and a brilliant location.
Having to pay for wifi. The terrace was not open for breakfast
Fantastic environment and old quality service
The whole hotel was sent overkill everywhere you had a thick air full of artificial perfume. It made me and other guests sick. I had to disconnect the electric scent generator in my room to get any sleep at all.
the atmosphere and the staff were fantastic.
The amount of artificial aroma sprayed around the hotel was overwhelming and made me sick. If this is what the hotel prefers and other guests has not complained, then it is just me but unfortunately I cannot stay at your beautiful hotel if you continue to fill the air with that amount of scent - smell. I can inform you that at the time I stayed others also complained from feeling sick from the amount of scent smells. I had to disconnect the one placed in my room (in the power point) which helped a little, but did still feel sick throughout my stay. Please inform me if you are removing all the scent-smells, as I can/will not return to your beautiful hotel unless the artificial scenting is totally removed.
