Located away from the madness of the traffic in the centre. Autos at end of access road provide cheap and easy travel to old town. Haggle to get a good price, especially if hiring for a day. Radisson and other hotels nearby are open to non-guests and you can eat very well for 550inr. Close to cantonment railway station if you get an auto. This place is bad. Staff unhelpful and try to rip you off from start to finish. Don't hire taxis from them! Room not cleaned even though I was here 6 nights. Basic accommodation. No hot water. Constant power cuts. Dirty blankets. Building work starting at 7am. I stayed here in January and room was so cold I could see my breath. Wifi only works on ground floor and I was on 2nd floor. They tried to add a 10% tax to my bill but I refused to pay it.

Staff was very helpful. We reached Varanasi at odd hours in the morning and immediately were provided accommodation. Hotel tariff is modest. Rooms are clean. 1. No lift. For aged customers using staircase is very tiring. 2. No dining hall/room. One has to take his meal in the room. 3. No Menu Card. No option for own choice of food. 4. No newspaper provided. No soap/shampoo pouch in the bathroom. 5. Hotel desk did not provide any information on important places at and around Varanasi to first time visitors of the city. 6. No pickup and drop facility at railway station/airport by the hotel. 7. Rooms were not cleaned during entire period of our stay. 8. Lack of professionalism
