Spacious room for an ok price. Breakfast cook a really nice man
Breakfast a bit too modest, wify had some problems
location and service
Way how taxi fare was handled
Quiet location away from bustle of the city.
Poor breakfast. Awful evening food.
The hotel is in a very posh area, very quiet and clean! The hotel itslef is small but extremely clean, the room was huge and the interior of ot was amazing! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast wasn't perfect only a few items but it was okay! We ate lunch twice and the food was very tasty! The location isn't too far from everywhere we needed to go, we just walked 1 min to find a tuktuk to take us anywhere or yoh could ask the hotel to provide a cab for you. As a whole the hotel made our trip much more enjoyable and relaxing as we imagined and delhi is beautiful! I recommend you should def go for a day trip to agra if you're staying in delhi! The Taj Mahal is breathtaking and the hotel can plan ot for you with a guide and everything! Perfect hotel for a perfect vacation!
I liked the cleanliness of the rooms. And the room was quiet. No noise. And hotel location is perfect too. Hotel is just opposite to Indian cricket legend Mr. Kapil Dev's bungalow.
Vegetarian food was good. Specially hot fulkas. However non- vegetarian options were limited not so tasty. Breakfast needs to be improved drastically.
the room was very clean staff very kind and helpful nice position in a very peaceful area of Delhi
the room view was very poor, on dirty roofs no sleepers provided even if requested breakfast was just so so
Wi-Fi Low speed if internet
In general, very positive environment
It could be cheaper
Clean well kept hotel and convenient location
Executive room had no window view and breakfast could be better.
Clean. Nice bathroom. Location. Staff. Breakfast.
It was definitely the cleanest ant quiets hotel we have seen in India.
Breakfast choice could be better.
The owner & staff were very friendly and helpful with directions.
Great boutique hotel with amazing bathrooms (shower cabin is huge and very relaxing) and comfortable beds. Eventhough it might seem overpriced, it is actually worth it and I recommend it more than the luxury 5* chains as it has the safest and calmest location in Delhi. As European tourists, we really needed that feeling of safety and tranquillity after a long day in the noisy and tense city.
Small minor defects as cracked painting on the wall. It is weird considering the hotel was just reopened.
Everything is great, the room are sound proofed, big tv, very fast internet, good breakfast, big clean modern bathroom, car service. Honestly after touring one month in India, I was happily surprised that such standards exist in this country!
Large modern room with great shower. All clean and nice and quiet which is rare in Delhi. Bit out the way, taxi driver got lost! Couple of restaurants within walking distance and the area feels safe.
Food in restaurant is basic with not much choice also not a lot of atmosphere we used it once and were the only ones in there the waiter was not in uniform and looked like a family member standing in to help out he coughed and spluttered over our food which put us off. There is no pool or any activities in the hotel so you need to make your own plans for trips etc. the hotel does have a car and driver you can book for a whole or half day if you want to explore but you need to tell them where you want to go. I did ask them to change up some currency and have it ready when I checked out which they said was ok but on checking out it wasn't ordered which did cause me a problem.
Cleanliness is really an issue in the hotel (some rats had a nice "dinner" with a bag I let at the hotel while travelling around Delhi!). My impression is that it was very painful for the staff/manager to say "sorry"...Just disgusting... The staff will need a good training...a customer is not just only money...it's a shame! For the first night I had a room not very clean...
Great peaceful residential area.
The hotel arranged overpriced taxi. Lack attention to detail in rooms. Weak shower stream and luke warm water.
Clean and space room Terrace Location Friendly Staff
Cheap breakfast and not really '"international"
Room decor very modern & cozy. Clean bathroom (great shower!)
Breakfast was ok, South Indian, but some dishes tasted & looked like they were leftovers from the day before (idlis & coconut chutney). I arrived on an early morning flight, so well before in check-in time. When I got to the hotel they said they'd have to charge me an extra half-day board fee of 6000INR to get a room straight away. They advised me to pay in cash so I would avoid extra credit card charges. So I did. The only issue I have with this is that on checking out of the hotel at the end of my stay, I realized, too late, that I never actually got a receipt for that cash. Just annoyed that I potentially got duped. Apart from that, I'd stay there again :)
friendly staff, esp the one who works in the restaurant... free wifi and the minute we had a small glitch, they attended to this almost immediately very accommodating staff to make our stay seamlessly effortless small scale. non commercial. feels like a private bungalow. food was good altho limited selection
breakfast spread could expand on variety. could beautify the internal airwells w plants as they have done so in the front lawn
The staff is generally nice and helpful. The room was spacious with large windows and nice light. The bathroom was modern and sufficiently clean. The bed was large and bedding seemed fairly clean. The hotel is also situated in a very nice and safe neighborhood. The location was quite nice. There are also a very good and reliable taxi service that operates out of the neighborhood called perfect taxi service. They made getting around Delhi quite a pleasant and a hassle free experience.
We reserved our room at least 2 months prior to arrival and requested a room with one double bed. We called to to confirm the reservation one day ahead of time. When we arrived, we were told that only a room with two single beds was available in he price range booked, and that the booking does not guarantee bed preference. However, we could pay 500 rupees a night more to be upgraded to some super deluxe room with a double bed. It was a serious sales pitch from the staff member on duty to sell us this room. They showed us both rooms. To get to the room in the price range originally booked we had to walk to the end of the corridor, around some corners, to the back stairwell, up half a flight of stairs, and down another short corridor. The room was fine but small, windowless, and quite dark. It did not look like the room shown in the images during booking. It seemed to be a room they kept just to look unappealing for the sales pitch. We saw the nicer room, and it was very spacious but much more than we needed in terms of space and cost. In the end we did the upgrade. We were told directly that this was unofficial upgrade outside of booking system, so the extra had to be paid for in cash at that moment. The hotel didn't seem full, and we were left with the feeling that the room we booked was also available but this was a trick to make us pay more. We also felt the money paid in cash went directly to the staff member and not the hotel itself. Attention to details is lacking: for example upon arrival we found no pillow cases on the bed pillows, but the problem was readily fixed by the staff after complaining.
Very comfortable beds and big bathrooms. Quite and save environment close to the centre. Friendly service.
Everything - the staff were marvellous and helpful; it was strikingly clean; the facilities were top-notch.
I mentioned that it'd be nice to see a lady working there - maybe on reception - to their great credit they contacted me the next day and told me a lady was starting next week!
The staff was extremely helpful and VERY proactive. The room was brand new, and EXTREMELY clean. The location was safe, secure, and quiet - yet very convenient to the heart of Delhi. Khan market is walking distance.
Breakfast was adequate but the presentation could have been a little better. That being said, it was still very sufficient and the staff made up for it.
