Score from 103 reviews Good
-15 second walk to beach - grounds are beachy and serene -private bungalow -pleasant staff -quiet(during day)
-power switches on and off frequently -wifi poor - no hot water - no views of beach but very close - no restaurant but many nearby - barking and howling stray dogs sometimes at night
loved the location, the staff, the shacks pretty much everything!
The cottage was good but for a few issues. Pradeep was very helpful.
- path from the main road was not convenient, especially when walking back at night. - the geyser did not work - the toilet bowl was dirty - huge big ants in the bathroom
area very peaceful
cleanness not good
We were next to the beach, there was a lot of vegetation near by so you could hide of the sun in the middle of the day. the "big boss" was always near by to help us with what we needed. Very nice beach and view.
There we ants all over the place including the rooms. The walls were not made properly because u could see oudside and from outside in the bathroom!!! The furniture was poor and you dindn't have a place to put you clothes.
In add it was mentioned that Wi-Fi facility is available, but it was not The place is too inside with pigs around, though attached to beach, it might be fair during season time, but off-season the place is not good
location close to the beach, palm forest with birds and monkeys, spacious bungalow
a bit expensive for that place, people passing by in the morning
Nice setup. Some huts are closer to the beach than the others. Ask for the ones that are closer to the beach.
Quite, private bath
Mosquitos all over
Its not really in front of the beach you have to walk in for 100 mts.
After 30 minutes of negotiations we got a nice room closer to the sea in a next place for the same price
We booked the hut via booking.com When we arrived we had to wait for 40 min for check-in, then we were told there were no spare huts and offered to occupy a hut that was 50 meters away form the one we booked, w/o hot water and smaller. Palolem beach itself isn't that good.
Not a lot. Goa in general is very expensive. Prices are double as compared to elsewhere and the quality of the accommodation is about half
Dirty. It was unclear who the staff was or where the office was. I took an expensive accommodation because I knew it looked sort of borderline, and indeed it was. I wouldn't want to see what the cheaper rooms were like.
Great Customer Service..Hospitable, good behaviour of staff. Flexible check out.
Bed linen could have been cleaner..
I liked the location to the beach. 2 minute walk from the hut.
the rooms were very dark. They could be updated a bit. theyshould introduce some colour into the rooms and someplace to hang you clothes
I really dont like to wake up every morning because of the local peoples burning rubbish/junk/garbage outside my bungalow. There was no servicepeople at this place except during some few moments during the day. The price was way to high compared to what we got.
Located just a minute away from the beach and the restaurants and shacks serving great food and drinks.
Sand gets in the rooms since it is almost on the beach but rooms were not cleaned in 2 days, would get really messy for longer stays.
Our AC cottage was nice and large with a great little balcony out the front that had seats and a hammock, and our bed was massive and really comfy, with a big mosquito net. Manju is really friendly and helpful. Great location just behind the first row of beach huts. Nice quiet and shady spot.
Nothing, we had a great stay
The hut was really close to the beach (about 30 meters!) and the manager mandju was an easy going guy and always willing to help with information, guidance, money exchange and so on. I'd stay there again.
proximity to the beach independent units quiet and relaxed atmosphere
hot water was tricky at best difficult to find - could improve signage and approach statements describing the property are potentially misleading (e.g. parking)
Just a few steps from the beach. Great food and shopping locations - just a few minutes walk along the beach.
No reception but managed from a agency shop at main road instead. Behind the cottages there is construction work. Be prepared to wake up early in the morning...and not with birdsong.
