Not much to like in the hotel. The restaurant and bar are not too bad.

It's an old worn out, tired place with little or no maintenance. Dampness smell in th air lingers everywhere. Their phone number as advertised on booking.com is incorrect.

I did not like anything about this hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel from the 8th January 2013 until the 10th January 2013. As it was a family holiday we had reserved 4rooms. Upon arrivial the hotel appeared to be different to the pictures and previous reviews we had read before hand. When I was given my room key I descorved the bedsteets to be damp and various stains all over. I phoned reception and a member of staff arrived, his response was that there was nothing they could do and due to the weather conditions in Amritsar it is difficult to have bedsheets/lining dry. I was complety shocked by this response and asked to have these changed immidetly. In another room the toilet in the bathroom had a leakage everytime the toilet was to be flushed. This problem was reported immedialty yet was unresolved. In addition, due to this being unresolved the floor in the bathroom remained wet throughout our stay. The water in the shower in all four rooms was cold, therefore in the morning we all had to have cold showers. This was reported to the management but again was unresolved. Furthermore, we had grandparents both who are over 60 who had no not water and no heating working in their room. They had already exchanged rooms due to the damp sheets. The water issue was resolved however they could not use it due to the shower handle missing (see uploaded picture). This was again reported and to my suprise a member of staff had arrived with a bucket and suggested for my grandparents to have a bucket shower. This was popostorous and I was disgusted with the service this hotel provided. Another room would not open the room key had to be changed on a number of occasions. One one ocassion we had spent 1minuet 34seconds until the door opened!! There were a number of powercuts during the our stay which in my opinion the lifts were unsafe to use. Therefore my grandparents had difficulties in getting in and out the premisies. The towels which were provided appeared to have stains on them.
