We had a great new years eve on the hotel. The staff put an extra table for us, as we were late with the booking. It was a great experience to have new years there. Great food.

The hotel was 4 stars years ago, but it was worn. We had to ask for toilet paper several times. There were not even a hand towel and not even a floor mat the second day. The staff were friendly but not even able to show the situation of the hotel on a map in 'Lonely Planet'

First room had rotten shower curtain and the bath tube was disgusting. When I called the reception they sent housekeeping for fix it! I had to argue for new room. Only the manager seemed to care, the rest of the stuff was clueless. I wonder how did they get first 2 stars.

Location - Its very near to Railway Station of Trivendrum. Staff - Staff is polite and helpful. Cleanliness - Its quite clean. Although walls of my room has got moisture. And because of this there was a little smell. Complementary Internet. Food - quite good assorted food.

Nice cozy hotel, good staff and great location.

We stayed in fourth floor and there was a lot of noise from the roof top restaurant upstairs. Avoid the 4th floor.

This was a very good hotel indeed. The low price made me suspicious of how high the quality would be. It is classed as a 'business class' hotel and seemed to cater mainly to Indian Businessmen. Check-in was quick and efficient. The reception staff were always very friendly. The room was very nicely furnished. There was a choice of 2 restaurants. The breakfast buffet was on the top floor with a great view of the surrounding area. The food was fine. The ground floor restaurant had an extensive menu of very reasonably priced local and western dishes. Quality and service were excellent. All in all superb value for money hotel.

Two minor niggles. Firstly, the free wi-fi is painfully slow. The manager apologised that I had not been told that there was the option of a chargeable service with much higher speeds. Secondly, the hotel car for the short journey to the airport costs twice as much as a taxi fare.

I stayed for 4 nights in december. All the staff were good and co- operative to their extent. The location of the hotel is quite good for the city goer as its in the centre. Dining place is really good with a view over the city (being a green city, you see only green!! Tho).

The room - though its tidy, it has some foul odour which didn't go at all..What I didn't like at all is the internet facility, which was the only one thing leads me to book the hotel. Though the free Wifi as advertised is there in the hotel, but the signal strength which I could notice was only for one and then one has to call the reception to get the username/password every 24 hours to have access to it. Being a traveller too, this is the first time I have experienced being in a kinder garden where the web is censored!!!! and it was really pathetic as I couldn't connect to my office desktop using any VPN connection (again blocked - VNC/RDP). So if you are a business traveller and need to access internet freely for business or for pleasure its a big NO. I had to find other means to get connected to my office. Also as a vegetarian the option of food can be really boring if the stay is for more than a day. The price is too high for a facility like this as compared to other cities in the world. Note: If you are a MAC user, you need to diagnose your network connection often to get connected to the WiFi settings.
