“ Hotel is wonderful.It´s a big hotel,with a great decor,and look like a old english mansion mixed with indian decor.Rooms are very confortable.Breakfast and dinner included area great, with indian and western food, changing everyday.Very friendly staff.Quiet rooms.Great valeu for money.Darjeeling is small,so location is OK. A very charming hotel. ”

Peaceful location in a bustling hill town, very friendly and helpful staff. Open fires in bedrooms made them very cosy. Restaurant staff exceptionally friendly and food good with nice variety. Slightly kitsch decor

The hotel ambience was lovely, with our room having a great coal fire, perfect for keeping the night chill away. We loved the fact that it was a heritage building although some of the ornaments and decorations are a bit kirsch. When we arrived at the Mayfair, after a very long drive up from Varanasi, we were very disappointed to find that we had no reservation. Neither the Mayfair or Bookings.com took responsibility for the error, so we are still unsure what happened. In terms of value for money, the food is very poor. Better hotels with a substainally lesser room rate beat this hotel hands down. We dreaded dinner each night and breakfast was uninspiring. The wifi was also problematic, entailing many visits for the system guy to just get us logged in. We gave up in the end and used the internt cares around town. Lastly, the children's playroom is dated and many of the toys are either Rosen or don't work anymore.

歴史のある建物なので趣がありまた修繕もされているので快適に過ごせました。 二人連続でシャワーを浴びるとお湯が出なくなるところ。私は主人のあとに入ったので、水シャワーでした。時- 間を開ければお湯は出ます。

Nice location. Relatively spacious room for price. Nice breakfast and dinner. Non-transparent additional fees that kept changing. An inaccurate receipt that seemed to have been constructed solely for the purpose of either evading some local tax or getting more money for someone.
