The driver didn't know English. And he didn't explain anything. Moreover he didn't take us to Old Delhi, he waited us in Red Fort's park, and we had to take a rickshaw. In the hotel, they don't have any information about Delhi, neither a map. I have been in hostels much better than this hotel

The room had comfortable bed, european style shower. The hotel is located in the private building in the gated colony, so I guess it is safe.

No window in the room, behind the curtain there was a boarded up balcony. I stayed for 4 nights and my room was not cleaned during this period. Staff was ok, but not that friendly as other reviews promise. On the map the hotel is located very close to the metro, in reality it is on the opposite side of a highway, so one either has to walk a lot/ take a riksha or run across with really heavy traffic. The tv didn't work. The earthing of the electricity plugs is bad, but I guess this is a general problem in India.

Megha Homestay is located in a quiet and green part of South Delhi, close to Metro station. Rooms are very nicely set up. You may order delicious homemade food from the kitchen. Owner is very helpful with trip arrangements.

The owner Aman went out of his way to help me organise my stay (trips in the area) and made me feel welcome. He even let me stay longer in my room since my flight was late at night.

Room was large, well decorated and clean. Bathroom large and clean. In pleasant and secure area.

Horrendously difficult to find. Taxi driver asked 5 different people. Only one member of staff speaks workable english - and he wasn't always there. This is not a hotel - its a private home with several hotel type rooms in it. Very disorganised. They ask what you want for breakfast - and then go the the local market to buy it! When we asked about he lack of butter for the toast the waiter said he'd go and buy some - despite the fact he'd spent all the previous evening slouching on a sofa watching indian 'soaps'. Very amateur.
