The fact that the room had a carpet which was not very clean. I would have preferred a room with wooden or tiled floors . these are on the 6 and 7th floors only and this is not what is indicated on the site! Room cleaning needs to be upgraded. As well as the facilities around the pool have huge potential to be an excellent resort.
Linen was clean and fresh. Bed was confortable.
Checking took too long with only 2 people at the desk. The room did not have the standard accessories which you would expect of a good hotel. Had to request body cream. The breakfast service on Saturday morning was terrible. No one was manning the door and it was a scramble for tables which were not cleaned.

-Their breakfast didn't taste good. They had variety but lacked taste. A complete letdown for 2 consecutive days of d weekend- which means this cud be a trend ! -their service is very slow. Had to remind them 2-3 times everytime to send water and other complimentary stuff to our room. On d 2nd day they didn't bother to come and collect used plates from room service dinner order. -their bathroom door just slides, doesn't lock. Would be embarrassing if you are used to locking the bathroom while using it.
we booked executive room,but executive lounge was under renovation,rooms were dirty,wash basin black dirty,telephone dusty,rooms needs renovation badly,room amenities need reminders to be refilled,overall not worth to stay in this hotel,this hotel is max 3 star hotel,badly managed
Food quality is good.
Training to staff is required as per the level of the hotel. The response from staff is very poor. They need proper world class training to deal with clients. Good looking staff should be appointed. Spa is also does not have class very poor staff and no one to attend properly.
employees were great, breakfast had a large variety of choices, the bed was comfortable, I felt very safe, which is important to me as a woman traveling alone, i got a premier room the last night and the included cocktail hour was great!
The carpets, chairs, and shower were pretty dirty. The first room I was in had a toilet that wouldn't flush and was continuously running, so I had to move. In second room, the toilet also had flushing issues, though not every time.
The room was not clean. Even the main door had a problem. The hotel in total needs renovation. The breakfast was fine but the lunch buffet was very over priced and the quality of the food was very ordinary.
Staff were all good and food excellent.

Novotel is not upto the standard of a five star hotel. The Staff not allowed me to keep my girl friend in my Room. This Hotel is below three star level. It was a waste of time and money. I had to keep my girl friend in another hotel. I could not enjoy my trip. It was a waste of time and money
Once you book through Booking.com you cannot change anything. More so the Hotels do their best to give you the worst rooms available and as the traveller is too tired to argue they have no choice but to take the room. Very disappointed with the room and view

No renovation done after accor group bought holiday inn...washrooms r dirty and to the worst even coffee mugs in the room were dirty....worst experience of stay in Mumbai
Break fast is good but not the lunch. Beach side location.
Walls are damped and stains on the bed and couch. Completely worn out interiors. Shouldn't be rated as a five star hotel. Slippers and bath robe provided upon request. Attitude of the front desk people is not acceptable.
Poor room service, noise of TV in one room is clearly heard from adjacent rooms. I had to call reception to swith of TV in adjacent room. Rooms are stingy, toilet fitting is loose, flush is leaking,

Location of the hotel. It is right on Juhu beach.
We were forced to opt for the overpriced Sunday brunch at 2.30 pm as there were no other options available although all restaurants had enough empty tables. Also had a bad experience at time of check in as our room was not ready at 3 pm. Definitely needs improvement.

The location of this hotel is very close to the airport; Great access to Juhu beach; well worth going for an early morning run at sunrise down the coast.
There were problems with the hotel. On late arrival, the staff at the check in desk didn't seem bothered to greet guests. No question on whether I'd been to the hotel before. No offer of information about hotel facility. On finding the elevators, two out of the three lifts were not reading my room card so took an age to get to my room. On getting to my room, the safe did not work and required an engineer to fix - making me late for an event in the evening. When you think of a spa at a five star hotel, a smiley greeting, incense burning and soothing music is what you think of; at Novotel Serena spa, I found nothing like this. It was dark, no friendly face and no relaxing mood. Having been placed in a therapy room, the massage table wasn't made, there was deafening white noise coming out of the broken CD player. I was asked to change in here without the door closed. The icing on the cake was the masseuse who seemed to believe that stroking/pinching was massaging. After 10mins on my legs and 35secs on my back with what can only be considered as sunflower oil, the masseuse refused to apply harder pressure. At this point, I got my t shirt and promptly left. I got no apology. All in all, it may meet the requirements to be a five star hotel but the Novotel Juhu Beach is certainly not five star luxury. Given that you're paying so much per night, I'm sorry to say that you're better off finding another location.
Everything, starting with the staff, professional and so kind. Excellent facilities, most of which are free (gym, pools, sauna, steam baths, internet...). The food is absolutely worthy of a five-star hotel and even affordable. Impossible to be disappointed by the hotel.

The customer service levels are seriously compromised, no staff gives you a reply with smile and the information is not always correct. The water in the showers had some serious problem, it had air locks and the heater didnt work properly. I had been to Novotel before and the customer service was excellent, some thing changed and the service levels dropped.
Stayed there as I like the property. Used to stay at the then Holiday Inn all the time when I visited Mumbai more frequently. Very happy memories.
Service was very poor. Rooms look a bit run down. They gave me the worst room in the building which did not have a coffee maker eventually delivered after three reminders. Room service took an hour to deliver dinner on the first night.
