Overall, there is a substantial gap between what is stated on booking.com and what a customer really gets. Also, where do the 3 stars come from? More details below: - No hot water for shower (!) - Many crows in the garden, which are quite noisy - WiFi was only available in around 4 sqm area in restaurant and unreliable - Cards payment difficult, I finally had to go to an ATM to pay with cash - Breakfast consisted in a cold, half burned omelet - Swimming pool's water looked pretty dirty (did not see the bottom of it) And it cost the same price as my previous hotel in India which was a real 4-star hotel.

The hotel is situated literaly 30 meters from the ocean. It's great! They are enlarging the hotel, but the workers did not impede us. It's a very eco-friendly hotel. There are not many tuorists as it's a mini-hotel, thus it's never croudy in breakfast or any other time. By the way, even if you've overslept, you still get your breakfast! ;) Staff is very friendly. Each guest may personaly talk to the owner of the hotel (if there is a need or you simply want to). Besides the hotel is situated in the tiny town (where everyone is very glad to see you) not far from Trivandrum, where there are some frequent problems with electricity, the hotel has it's own electric generator that helps to avoid this problem very efficiently. The hotel also may provide you with a personal tour to anywhere you'd like for a very good price. The tours are upon reqeust on the reciption desk. The dishes in the restaurant are very tasty!

wi-fi access was limited and slow (not everywhere). Beside this, the hotel is great! But when you go there take into account that not every room has a sea-view.

They gave us a room at 4am although check in was at 2pm and provided breakfast at 11.30.

Extremly difficult to find hotel. Not even a sign out side. Bed very hard and uncomfortable, sheets very scruffy and stained. Only one small towel. Room & bathroom very sparten. Only one neon light in ceiling. Buildng work started out side our room at 6.30. Beach was dirty and unkempt. Nothing to do in surrounding area. We had planned to stay two days but left after a few hours as was impossible to sleep, uncomfortable and we were miles away from anywhere nice. Hotel bore little ressemblance to web site.

With out a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, my life (53yrs) Where did it get its 3 star rating from?? Promised a deluxe room ................what a joke............. My room was a miserable "DUMP' stained single sheets stretched across a double bed no top sheets only a smelly blanket!! No coffee tea making facilities as promised, and if I wanted the fridge in the room to work I could not watch the tv No hot water(how sad is that for a supposed to be hotel) Breakfast another joke, coffee (barely) no milk no creamer. Omelette looked like it had been cooked and then thrown on the floor and jumped on (dirty oil) stay well away. Sorry Palm Leaves but you haven't got a clue how to run a hotel

Living room & bathroom were clean.

The restaurent service is bad, very slow. The resort is under construction though they have taken over bookings could not accomidate guests in proper rooms. Management is hopeless. Credit card machine was not working with all Visa cards. Food was average. Complementary breakfast is useless compare to many hotels how they provide. The resort is away from many options. If you want to go different restaurent for a change you need to go by 10KMs away. Overall experience stay is not great.

klantvriendelijkheid. hele accomadatie erg vies. zwembad zo vies dat je uitslag kreeg. geen aansturing personeel. Manager was alleen aanwezig bij betaling. Men doet maar wat. (dan wel, dan geen koffie. geen idee hoe men zwembad moet onderhouden etc) Schimmel en stank op hele onderste verdieping. 3 strandstoelen voor alle gasten. Laconieke houding bij commentaar. Lijkt niet op wat in folder of internet beloofd wordt. Prijs kwaliteit is absurd. Er waren maar 5 kamers bezet, kon men echter niet aan.

W hotelu podobała mi się lokalizacja blisko plaży. Dobre też było jedzenie ,choć śniadania mało urozmaicone.Właściciel hotelu jest pomocny w organizowaniu wycieczek. Personel uprzejmy, pomocny.

W hotelu w czasie naszego pobytu tj od 12.12 2012 do 22,12.2012 trwał nieprzerwanie remont: zarówno w budynku hotelu jak I na zewnątrz. Od rana do póznych godzin popołudniowych a nawet zdażyło się do godzi. 21,00 wiercono,walono płotkami, cięto kafelki, mieszano zaprawę itp. Otoczenie hotelu to istny plac budowy. Nie było mowy o relaksie , ciszy I wypoczynku. W ofercie hotelu jest inform o darmowej sieci wi-fi w całym hotelu. Prawda jest taka, że dotęp do sieci jest niemożliwy- bardzo słaby sygnał tylko w jednym miejscu w stołówce na parapecie okiennym ale tak słaby ,że nie było możliwe jakiekolwiek połączenie. W ofercie jest: restauracja- faktycznie to stołówka, w ofercie ogród-brak, kantor wymiany walut-brak,sklep z pamiątkami-brak. Poza tym w ciągu dnia I nocy wielokrotnie braki prądu I wody.Bardzo twarde materace.Stwierdzam, że informacje umieszczone przez booking o hotelu były nieprawdziwe I czujemy się oszukani.

Cadre magnifique et tres depaysant. Hotel familial, proprietaires tres sympathiques, aux petits soins, on a eu de gros soucis de billet d avion et le proprietaire nous a aide.

Probleme de vetuste des equipements mais probleme commun a quasi tous les hotels d inde donc hotel tout de meme tres comfortable vu la situation du pays.

Wir haben die Tage im Palmleave sehr genossen. Die Lage direkt am schönen Strand der Palmen gesäumt zum relaxen in der Hängematte einlud. Ein sehr ruhiger Platz unter den Palmen, der zum erholen absolut empfehelnswert ist. Die Zimmer sind großzügig mit Veranda und oder Balkon mit Meerblick. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Restaurant ist angeschlossen. Gute indische Restaurant sind gut mit der Rikscha zu erreichen. Es werden auch Tagesausflüge mit dem hauseigenem Auto angeboten. Wer Ruhe haben möchte und einen schönen Platz am Strand unter Palmen sucht und den Fischern bei der Arbeit zu schauen möchte der sollte sich für das Palmleave entscheiden.

Location

Poor food organisation, and poor attention to detail of room plumbing and outside. It is still a work in progress with lots of unfinished areas in the building and the grounds. Needs better management!!!

Very nice, quiet place - perfect for relaxation and "to do nothing". friendly and helpful staff if you want to do some trips in Kerala. nice and chlorine-free pool with sea-view!

Location by the beach, value for money, friendly family run place

Great Location seafacing rooms and beautiful swimming pool are the most attractive. The hotel is closed to the beach. Just 16 km from trivandrum airport. They do trip arrangements.

Nothing is bad

The excellent staff made the difference, and the position is definitely amazing: resort surrounded by coconut's trees and sea view balcony from the room. * 30 minutes distant from the Trivandrum city center, * 10 minutes far away from the Technopark, * 1 minute from the beach!
