Location, Facilities,Food and Cleanliness
The hotel was close to the Golden Temple and the Wagah Border. We also enjoyed the breakfast, happy hour, and the Chinese restaurant, which served huge portions.
They seem to have a lot of special events, which can close whole sections of the hotel. For example, one night we couldn't visit the bar and the Chinese place and another day we had to vacate the pool area.
Everything about the hotel was excellent. The staff, cleanliness and service was top notch. Everybody was always at hand to help! Great facilities including the swimming pool and gym! All in all a very pleasant stay!
The Location was not ideal, except that it was 5 minutes from the airport! Not much in and around the hotel in the way of decent pubs, clubs and restaurants.
Free shuttle service to the Golden Temple; Great Breakfast; Comfortable bed;
Nothing to say
The hotel is a new property located very close to the airport, and yet not too far from the main tourist attractions ie Golden Temple, Wagah Border, Jallianwala Baug and Durgiana Temple. Its a high quality property with very helpful staff. It was a pleasure to stay there and I would highly recommend it to others.
Amazing property,comfortable stay...humble staff...would definitely recommend this hotel to others..specially appreciate their complimentary cake which was provided by the hotel for my daughter's birthday...true luxurious experience!!!
Only one point to mention that water in the swimming pool was a bit cold otherwise no flaws what so ever....
Peaceful uncongested location, near airport.
Room was comfortable, the food was very good and the staff very friendly.
The food was overpriced. The wine was not good. It was annoying to be charged at all, let alone a very expensive price, for an airport transfer from a hotel that advertises as an airport hotel that is less than 1k from the airport. The advertised spa facilities were not available.
the staff was ambitious to help and to give good service;
breakfast was poor for a 5 star hotel; the quality; even the breakfast was included i wud better have not taken it; also the dinner buffet is not worth the money; better to eat in a restaurant or dhaba near by;
Ac cooling was poor At night lights went off Ac off And lots of noise from outside night was very disturbing
The location from airport is possibly the only plus point i can think of and maybe the happy hour..!
The staff seem uninterested on the front desk when you are checking in and almost left my passport in their scanner. It took them 1 hour to provide the second room key, A/C had an issue, we had to call twice for someone to come, no toothbrush, took them 45 mins to bring in the morning. Service extremely slow..
Location right outside the airport, staff and friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was delicious.
Check in could have been done faster.
Locality to the airport was great. Clean hotel and the pool was lovely.
Dinner was mediocre and the drinks were priced the same as London prices - not to be expected in India!
The beds were very comfortable, and the hotel overall was very beautiful. The food in the Wall of Asia was very good, and we tried many dishes. The size of the small suite was excellent, with 2 TV's, 2 couches, a large bed, and large bathtub/shower. The water pressure in the shower was excellent.
Throughout the trip the A/C would only work well in the evening, but during the day, despite the fact it was set low and on the same temperature at night, it got quite warm in the room, even after we complained multiple times. When we arrived we didn't have any hot water, and it took about 24 hours for the water to get truly hot. Then by the time we left (after a 2-night stay) the water started cooling off again and was barely warm when we left. The website was misleading about the available facilities: the spa is not open yet (after 2 years it's still under construction), the hot tub had no water in it, the gym had no A/C, and the shuttles to the Golden Temple only occurred 2 times a day (at 3:45am and 8:45pm) and cost extra. The staff was unapologetic about the problems we were facing, and made us feel like we were extremely high maintenance, even though we were really only asking for working A/C and hot water. The wait staff for the breakfast and lunch restaurant were unfriendly and extremely slow. We have stayed at a Radisson Blu before in New Delhi and had an amazing stay, but were extremely disappointed in the quality of customer service in Amritsar.
The staff never said sorry for anything nor asked for our opinion of their services. "Why do you advertise that you have a spa on your website?" I asked. "It is coming sir." They replied. What a joke. Way overpriced and a real disappointment.
Service at the returant is very slow and poor
The location of the hotel. It is far from the crowded city, yet you can easily reach the city soon when required. The rooms are spacious.
One of the rooms we stayed in had a bad smell. The pool area was not clean. The staff needs to be more professional. They kept following me for my dinner bill which obviously I would have definitely paid at the time of check-out. Despite my late check out deal package, I received a call for check out at 12 noon, which I thought was very unprofessional.
great breakfast and facilities
powerpoints were not working in room, shower door was not sealed properley and hence water was leaking and a few fittings were a bit loose.
The staff are fantastic. It is located near the airport rather than in the city itself. A bit of peace and quiet overwhelms the additiontional travel costs to get to the Golden Temple. This hotel isn't in the budget end of the range so the extra travel costs shouldn't be an issue for most.
The old Radisson SAS brand got a bit gimmicky with room designs and materials. They are looking a bit jaded and tired now. The common areas are holding up better.
location was good.
ill behaved staff. worst room service. staff not trained for 5 star atmosphere. not worth for money spent at all..
good value for room good facillties
food expensive cleaning could be improved
Room view. Size of the room was good. Stay was comfortable. Front desk lady was exceptional and very prompt in all my requests. Checkouts were done fast. Liked the food in the restaurant.The Electrician to fix a switch issue was very prompt and professional. The front-desk people were having the most smiles and greetings, can be more as we meet other staff - but I am happy to see our country matching the best in the world in hospitality.
I think the in-room services can be improved - like not enough tea-bags, moisturizer or shampoo etc. The restaurant was playing light music but was loud in sound.
Bathroom sink was logging, flush had to be used twice. Complimentary toiletaries, fruit baskets were not there. When asked for fruits, was told that those are available only in chargeable basis !
Very good, exvellant location for airport and will definitely use again when travelling to Amritsar airport
Staff was very helpful and very kind.
