Having read some poor reviews, we were not sure what to expect from the Ramada Plaza JHV. However, we were very pleasantly suprised. Whilst the decor is equivalent that of a 3* hotel, the service was certainly 5*. There is also a nice pool/ garden area. We found the hotel to be well located as it is in a quieter area, a short distance away from the craziness of Varanasi. Alcohol is expensive- even for local spirits.

Very professional staff, excellent room and excellent restaurant. Could not use pool because of the weather, pool looked great though! A million times better than Grand Continental in Allahabad which was India at its worst: dirty, disorganised pseudo-grandieur.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The place was clean, well looked after. Housekeeping staff was quite attentive, even prepared the room for night when we came back after our day trip. The breakfast spread was very nice, had a lot of things to choose. Overall a wonderful stay. Missed an exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Very good hotel, the best I've stayed in India. Rooms very clean, big, modern furniture, not in the centre so is quiet around, nice pool area, very good food, breakfast excellent. There is a small mall very near. 10-15 minutes by tuc tuc from the centre. We had an ayurvedic massage and it was not nice and shorter than required. Also internet is slow, they have very bad conexion, and it is really expensive.

It is a nice hotel among all the poor ones in Varanasi Travel desk was a completely mess along with the staff attention. They mixed up our planes many times and make us waste a lot of time with arrangements that should be already organized. Th hotel is very expensive for what it really is.

Great serving staff in restaurant and at front door Completely dissatisfied with the hotel's inability to call taxis without sending guests over to the tour desk. We were clearly being manipulated by the staff at the tour desk, even when we wanted a taxi in order to explore the city ourselves. Taxi to 'Brownies' restaurant (45secs away) 200 rupees. They kept trying to sell us tours even when we clearly stated that we wanted to explore ourselves. The front desk and the tour desk were clearly in cahoots and goodness knows what commission was being made on each customer. Anyone staying here should leave the hotel, turn right and walk to the main road, get a taxi from there without a guide for about 75% less. a complete let-down. We will not return.

Beaucoup de groupes... Individuels acceptés. Chambre bien équipée. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux. Personnel très ( trop) nombreux mais hélas peu efficace. Organisation à revoir pour répondre plus rapidement aux clients. A la suite d'une annulation de vol d'AIR india j'ai prévenu la réception de mon arrivée 1 jour plus tard. A l'accueil, à mon arrivée, on m'a informé que la nuit de mon absence ne me serait pas facturée. Or, a mon insu, 1 jour avant mon arrivée prévue un pré paiement a été effectué malgré les engagements pris par cet hôtelier. J'ai adressé 11 mail depuis 1 mois, ai téléphoné trois fois... Aucune réponse. J'étais en voyage de prospection pour trouver des points de chutes pour divers groupes...cet hôtelier qui ne respecte pas ses engagements ne mérite pas notre confiance. Attitude décevante...A éViter. Non respect des engagements pris sur booking.com: pas de pré paiement... Avant mon arrivée j'avais envoyé deux mails pour demander des renseignements pour gagner l'hôtel depuis l'aéroport... Aucune réponse. A la suite d'un prélèvement 2 jours avant mon arrivée, j'ai adressé 11 mails à 3 postes différents figurant sur la documentation de l'hôtel ( dont le directeur)... Aucune réponse. Professionnel peu fiable Attitude peu honnête vis à vis de ses engagements. Professionnel indigne a deconseiller

Si, mucho. Pero el precio de la conexion a internet es exorbitado: 375 rupias, por 20 rupias que cuesta en la calle. Y el servicio de lavanderia carisimo, exagerado. Pero todo lo demas, muy bien. Recomendable.

Hotel muy aconsejable. Limpieza máxima tanto en la habitación como en el hotel en si. Desayuna variado, excelente. Personal encantador y muy atento. Habitación confortable y con detalles hacia los huespedes. Estupendo! El servicio de Internet es carísimo, son 331 Rs por 1h, que nos parecio algo excesivo, es la única queja que podemos tener.
